What type of player will you be?

The roster in Pokken each show their own way of having a specific gameplay. For example, with Pokémon like Weavile and Sceptile, you can rush down your opponent with fast attacks. Pokémon like Machamp and Charizard are slower, but much more powerful, with Gardevoir and Suicune focus on zoning the opponent out with projectile attacks.

So, with the varied styles shown here, what sort of player would you be, while mastering Pokken? Will you want to rush down the opponent with fast attacks? Take a more defensive approach? Focus on outpowering the opponent? Which style appeals more to you? Feel free to share!

For instance, I do like being patient, so maybe I'll focus on zoning the opponent out with Gardevoir and a Frogadier support.

Time will tell but usually with these types of games I'm all in for attack attack attack! I'm not very patient or strategic!

Anything that is long range, defensive, or allows me to run away quickly. I don't like being hit, and prefer to stay out of harm's way, even if that means I won't get to pummel the enemy to shreds. Most human players don't just stand still and let themselves get hit over and over again, after all.

I've always been a good match for Lucario. In Smash as well he was always one of my main fighters. A good balance of speed, strength, and defense is what I like about him. If I were a Pokemon myself, I'd totally be a Lucario.

My first instinct will be to rush my opponent down. But as I keep playing I'll also enjoy zoning my opponents out with ranged attacks.
