4th Gen A G/S Remake?

pokemon g/s/c remakes

DSI SLIGHTLY INCREASES THE CHANCES OF POKEMON G/S REMAKES!

There isn't a GBA slot anymore. This means you can't migrate anymore. Nintendo must make them available again for dsi users. The birds and Golems are already in platinum. This would solve pokemon g/s pokedex problem. Since you must have acces to a lot of pokemon games + ds/ds lite to migrate. They must made it to make them available. Or you must do a lot of trading. But there are also many fans without friends who also likes pokemon AND have Ho-Oh, Lugia, Starters...

To make them normally available for dsi users they must make them. Or they let you do it the VERY hard way...

They also know they should earn a lot of money with them.

It is fiarly too hard for dsi users to get that pokémon...(unless you have wifi, but then you have friend codes...)

If it is downloadable to DSi, will the graphics enhanced?(Some speculations here...)
I'm not quite sure what your meaning is in that sentence.

I would say that the graphics would be enhanced.
Every game that Nintendo made, remake or not, had a new style.

but if they release the 'classic' old version, they may not, if they do it with other old GB games. Think the old Snes games on Wii VC - several stay exactly the same. But who knows?

I want a remake of Crystal but on the gba, just this one last time. It would be the last gba game with all the 493+ pokemon programmed in it... With all the new features, the game will automatically become the biggest game in length.

Oh clever you are! You understand my meaning!! But if it stays exactly the same... Then there will be no trad-ability to DM/PL/PT...

493 Pokemon couldn't appear in a GBA game... That would break the rules between generations...

yea i hope they make a G/C/S remake
cause G/S/C way better than pokemon D/P/P
Currently I'm thinking of if they'll re-edit the Johto-dex... They can put away some Pokemon which has nothing to do with the storyline... Then they can put some Pokemon in Johto-dex, like Mismagius, Honchkrow etc...

Something interesting I found about the johto trios IVs in FR/LG @
https://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46342

As you may or may not be aware, a member of the legendary trio from the Gold/Silver/Crystal era is available to you after obtaining the National PokéDex. In the vein of your Rival's starter, the legendary you are able to obtain has a type advantage over your starter Pokémon. This means if you chose Bulbasaur you can get Entei, if you chose

Squirtle you can get Raikou, and if you chose Charmander, you can get Suicune. This legendary is unlike the others in two ways. The first of which is that it wanders the grasses (in Suicune's case, waters as well) of Kanto.

The second way the legendary G/S/C trio is unique is that their nature and IVs are set upon fixing Ciro's Machine on One Island. In addition to the fact that their IVs and nature are set, the IVs of the trio are victims of either an odd programming decision or a glitch; only their HP IV can be random, while the rest are set extremely low (typically in the 0-5 range). Despite what others may tell you, it is impossible to capture a competitive member of the G/S/C legendary trio in Kanto. This is due to the programming, not "luck", so it is a fact that these particular legendaries will always have bad IVs, and very often poor natures as well.

Should you really want a good Raikou/Entei/Suicune in the third generation, your only option is to soft reset for them in Pokémon Colosseum for the GameCube (also compatible with the GCN's successor, the Wii), or obtain them at a special Nintendo event.

That's a lot of useful information that you found MiTjA.
I'm pretty sure the same happens in FireRed and LeafGreen, as well.

Thank you MiTja, you always impress and surprize me! Well in that case, we may need a G/S/C remake!

Yeah, but they should make a new game if they'e gonna do that. Like WiiWare.

I agree, its too small, and with the DSi comin' out it might have the power to do that. Have more, or all regions. But how would they do it, coz when i played gold and silver i can remember Kanto was waaay too easy because i had high level pokemon. They'd have to make it like the TV series where ou leave 'em behind or something

Perhaps instead of Lv50s, what do you say if it's Lv70-Lv80s?

there are covers of the remakes i know and the coding suggests the idea so i dunno but i hpe they do!

that could work. But then it'd be weird because you never get wild pokemon that high leveled. But i suppose you have to start somewhere.

This is truly a booming discussion. G/S deserves a remake for sure. It's proven to sell wonderfully so they could be smart enough to bring it out for the 4th quarter of 2009, complementing it's ten year birthday.

I mean come on now, Nintendo is all for these traditional remakes. Seeing as the DS will only prolong it's existence by being revised time again (DSi anyone?) it only leaves much more time for these possibilities to turn up as reality.

regarding the DSi:

Unless they have games like the PS2 eye toy, the camera will be useless during game play.

I suspect that a company such as adobe will release photo editing software for the DSi.

Either way, I want one. you could act like you playing a game and be taking a picture of some one instead.
