Also hmm the train animation would be bliss.

I think its on the drawing boards even. if im correct the 3rd movie(movie 12) comes out in july. We have byrons gym by say febuary. So that gives us time for another 1-2 gyms max till movie 12. Which would mean movie 13 is put in 2010. 4 dp movies would be enough to cover it then release a gs remake intime for the frontier in jhoto no?

Not that long? If i have to wait til 2010 for a gs remake ill splode!

Yup, a G/S/C remake is imminent. Just wait till they release the english version of Platinum, then they'll start spreading some news...

The 2nd Generation Games were the best. My favorite starter of all time is Cyndiquil.(Sorry if Misspelled)

I just loved the feel and replay value of Johto. It would be nice for a remake. Pluse they should add new content,(More than just Kanto), like they did in the remakes Fire Red and Leaf Green.

I can't wait for it!
(I think I might be giddyXD)

I want the remake of Crystal! Argghhh! This makes me even more determined to get the DSi. >< I miss G/S/C so much :( Ahhh... The good times of Goldenrod City... 8D

I'm of the opinion that it'll be unlikely that a remake of GSC would be DSi exclusive. If the past games in their original form are available, it would be DSi exclusive, but not if it's a remake (like what FR/LG where). If it happens at all, that is.

DSi & DS games are going o be the same ... Anyway Cyndaquil was the best! & if they do make it, I bet money (not really,) that the Sinnoh Battle Frontier, will be in Johto.

Whatever we already know. Also hmm the sinnoh frontier being in jhoto before a confirmation of the remakes could be it no?

Although I support and think a remake will happen, that is grasping at straws, IMO, especially to have it passed of as 'confirmation'. :/ Crystal only had a Battle Tower for starters, not a fully-fledged Battle Frontier. And by that logic, one could say it also points towards a RSE remake - Emerald was the first game to have a Frontier... -_- (That is, if that's what you meant - otherwise I'm afraid to say I'm lost).

Thing is, even if the larger pieces of evidence - they only suggest that it has been considered, and that it may happen. Not that it WILL happen - big difference. Maybe the project will begin (or has begun already?), but then gets scrapped? Not that such a thing hasn't happened before. I do think it will happen, but there's no point jumping on every single similarity between the games such as that.

You are lost! Im trying to say because its in jhoto that would hint it!

Let me end this argument now.

There is going to be a remake of G/S/C, specially Crystal. I'm pretty sure about it. Why?

Technical Evidences:
1) The DSi is missing a GBA slot. This means you can probably no longer use Pal Park as a way to transfer pokemon.
2) D/P and Platinum is only missing the trio Raikou/Entei/Suicune. A new game is the only way to obtain them now, since there is no Pal Park in DSi.
3) D/P/P has internal data for pokemon received from johto. I've checked it myself. And no, it ain't for any movie or event, they never have it like that.
4) A lot of in-game references to Johto.

Player's profit:
1) Have you wondered why FFIV was remade for the DS? It's because many people have never played it. And if people have played it before, they still wanna play it. Same goes for G/S/C. It has a higher replay value than any other pokemon game in my opinion. You'll agree with me once you get the remake.
2) It will give your nostalgia a great satisfaction.
3) Many people want a remake.
4) Many people haven't played it yet.

Nintendo's profit:
1) This is the only game they haven't re-made yet. Do you know why they removed the GBA slot from the DSi? It's because it will compell you to buy this newer game in order to catch em' all.
2) Think about it... Nintendo always creates three versions of the same game. Why? Because they know people will buy them still. It's the same here.
3) Finally, Nintendo knows that many people haven't played it yet, and most people are mad for it. They know this game will sell more than any other Pokemon game in history. Thus, they are more confident. It will net them uncountable amounts of money.

I think that does it. If you want to add something, or think something is wrong here, then just post it so.

Everything you said are very much true and most of these are fairly new evidence.

If they don't make the Remakes during this generation, then I'll have lost all faith in Gamefreak -.-

I think what ~link smash~ ment was a cross-game referance in the Anime, similar to the Battle Frontier ARC (The Battle Frontier advertised Pokemon Emerald, while it was located in Kanto advertising FR/LG.)

In other words, If they decide on doing the same thing (with would be uber repetitious if they did) they'd have Platinum's Battle Frontier based in Johto.

(NOTE: Anime Cannon =/= Game Cannon)
