4th Gen A G/S Remake?

A petition? Pff that won't do nothing. We need to band together with pitchforks and defeat the evil forces that dont want one! Anyway o would love for it to happen. I would love it just to see what the characters clothes would be like and if they would use silver or not. If they dont there is serious mobbing to do.
 
Yes, we've had many comments on that (our thread got locked by serebii in 20 min) and however people say it won't work, it's a petition. The purpose of a petition is to show a company that a lot of people want something to happen. Please anyone who wants a G/S remake, sign the petition, we need thousands of signatures and we only have 70 (we started the petition on the 30th of november). We really need your help and I was searching the net for a large group to post another petition. Please sign the petition and we'll have a better chance to make a G/S remake
 
I signed the petition, hopefully it'll work.
 
I have my doubts about the remake. It only took 6 years plus a new system for a remake of Red/Blue. It's been 7 years since crystal was released and 8 since the original Gold / Silver plus 2 new systems.
 
You never know just cause it took 6 years for Fr/Lg doesn't mean that the G/S/C remake should take 6 years as well.

We know. You know being on the main forum of shiny gold and all im laughing at how people think we wont know. Anyway im truly seeing it happen. We got at least a 2 year spread till the next generation(you say that it wasnt revealed im taking out my good old trusty bat) and during that i wouldnt expect a new ranger or a new dungeon or a new anything. maybe a dash like game to advertise the new beasty but yeah i cant guess a thing.

Its a hack. We are talkin GameFreak, Wifi enabled authentic games hun.
 
Yep authentic is what we want. So haza think we would get it in the next 2 years or no?
 
I think so, I mean, Platinum just released and they have to be cooking something up and they have provided all the clues we need. I really believe it will happen in a year or so. They plan on keeping the DS around for another while with the new DSI and after that than new fans will need a way to get version exclusives from gold and silver.
 
Lets not forget that the 2 year span from 2009 to 2011 when the 5th generation games should come out they have to release something. And i find that something a perfect thing i call remake. If you also think of it later on in the 5th generation i wouldnt mind a remake of hoenn because it might give me a chance to love it and not hate it. But a new ds i wouldnt know how to see that i think 2 screens andone that is touchable is the farthest they can go. So yeah the dsi would be the first of its type with later ones to have same components but with phone and the such.
Anyway seeing as a remake should happen i hope these stuff go in:
Touch screen color pokegear. Being able to touch each spot on the map and getting details on it is very fun and it saves key item space. And for tuning with the radio by touch for some fun. And maybe more cards like poketech style apps. You know have 4 slots and you can switch what cards go in and such. I would find that to be very fwee!
Full kanto. And no excuses what so bloody ever. Thy can fit one region why not a second one? To little space sorry guys. Yeah that worked on us 10 years ago but not now! Ingrateful company we spend our money on them and they repay the fans like thiss.......
2 leagues. One kanto and one jhoto. Why? Well the kanto champ could be red and the mount silver area could have some super mysteriosu dude. And cause it would be more fun to beat 2 leagues. Easy for jhoto pawnage hard for kanto.
A mini area. Yeah have 2 regions and a mini area.
Better hve platinum style graphics x2 in the coolness factor. Thats all im saying.
 
I ain't really 'daft' wether they make a remake or not...... but knowing Nintendo, even if their 'was' a 2 year span for Generation V, I've a feeling that Nintendo will 'not' bother to remake G/S/C (as most of Generation II pokemons can be captured in Colosseum, FR/LG, and XD GOD).

Don't get me wrong. I LOVED playing the Generation II...... even if the challange on it was the most 'dreadful' out of all other generations.... I still liked it. But chances of them remaking it (despite seeing a lot of evidence) would be either 25 to 50%.

Another thing that would bother me that if they DID decide to remake it...... they would leave the storyline as the same. Keep the difficulty the same (yes that means you'll be fighting the Elite Four who's highest was level 50 and won't retrain), and such and such.
 
Sure those games where made to get the legends and all the pokemon but then again rthey gave the trio bad evs making them almost unusable and they arent in platinum. I mean they put every friking trio except the jhoto one. I think that is enough proof and the whole lugia and ho-oh being almost event status is even more of a reason because they are main legends no matter what nintendo and gamefreak try to feed us these days.
 
I wonder what they will they would give the characters new clothes in the Gold & Silver Remakes. I wonder how much will they alter their looks. Even though I never played Pokemon Gold & Silver I know what the characters artwork look like because I have seen it on the internet. I cannot really give any advice on what they should include in the Gold & Silver remakes because Gamefreak will include whatever they want in the video games.

Do you think that the company will understand the online petition if the comments and signatures if they are written in English. Would someone have to write it in or translate it to Japanese in order for them to understand it.

^Unless the G/S remake (should they make one that is) get's a Crystal Remake, seeing the character's wear new clothing will be unlikely to happen (as they'd be wanting to update their original clothing at least).

Yeah, they'd probably understand it alright. Course the thing is will they actually 'listen' to the petition created by fans demanding that we 'deserve' a remake of G/S ¬_¬'

They don't even need to create any new region or any new pokemon! Just improve a pair of old games for what? Right, alot of money.

And even if all the pokes are available, it would make some of them much easier to get with a Johto game (instead of like some idiotic crap like getting a GC game, GCN-GBA cable, and transfer to DP...........)

Consider that, people will buy those like hell, everyone who missed them and those who found these were the best generation. If Gamefreak don't use this opportunity, they're really stupid.
 
Yea they would get a lot of money especially from people playing on a Dsi.

It's not that the fact that money (yes money people), will allow Nintendo to sell the game like porn, it's the fact that 'when' they decide to create it is the problem.

Heck, the only reason on why I'd like to see it get re-made was not only the fact that you can go to Kanto (and fight real weak Gym Leaders excluding Blue), but the fact that a DAY/NIGHT system was introduced and back then, after a good rough 6 to 7 years, the battery would run out :(.

...Now think of what would happen when Nintendo SHOULD release G/S/C for the DS (or the DSi that people have gotten interested into), you'd never need to fear about the ability of your internal battery running dry (as the day/night system wouls run off the DS Clock).

Listen to me ramble like a silly old food ;). Yes, as I said earlier, I'd like to see a remake of G/S/C happen...... if it's to make pointless money for people to play it, why not?! I ain't bothered wether they change the difficulty or not (chances are they won't so you'll find the remake to be remarkably easy), but for once, JUST ONCE, I'd like to see all those 'beta' maps that weren't in the original G/S/C to appear in the remake (should it happen).

.....And that ability where capturing Celebi is possible (instead of using a damn AR).

Edit: also forgot to add the fact is WHEN Nintendo decides to 'bother' to remake G/S for the DS. Some might 'think' it'll happen..... and I must say, kudos to them as what they are wishing for is near to nigh impossible :(.

.....Let's just pray a miracle happens and Game Freak decides to pleasure us with G/S announcement ^_^

So what would the point of remake of Gold and Silver? It would be cool yes..but we just have to wait and see. I would like more info of Game 3 on Gen 4 cos' will this be the last game or are they going to do more like Gen 5 Pokemon??

Pokemon isnt that dead...yet. If they keep going the way they are now, even the poor misguided younger children of today wont be able to keep the fanbase up enough so that it keeps going. But yes of course, there will be a 5th gen...but personally, I wouldnt hope for more that 6th or 7th gen, maybe 8th.
