4th Gen A G/S Remake?

"Kanto is mentioned during the event in which players capture Shaymin in Diamond and Pearl. Professor Oak states that there is a white rock similar to the one at the north end of Route 224 somewhere in the Kanto region, although no such rock has appeared in past games taking place in Kanto." ~Bulbapedia.

And if there's a GS remake, it's likely this rock will be there; evidence?

That would be more likely to signify a remake as some parts of Kanto would have to be remapped/rescripped for the white rock to be implemented. Or it popped out of nowhere 3 years after FR/LG

Exactly, Kanto was in GSC.

What i think

i think the will make a remake of Gold Silver and mabey evan crystal bacuse that was there best ever generation its nearly impossible to fill the pokedex in dimond and pearl and rember the bit in diamond and pearl where you saw jasmine from the jhoto gym what would she be doing there all she did was give you a hm so i think they will make a gold and silver remake and i personal think it would make them a lot of monet because ot of me and all my friends that is all of our favorite and we would love it if they made anther

Ok so sinnoh i located north of kanto fine you win. Anyway can I ask what is connected to the west of sinnoh? HHHMMMM please let it be kanto so we can play all three in the remake

OK, so here is pretty much the layout of the Pokemon region for those of you arguing.

According to bulbapedia..

Kanto is East of Johto
Kanto is ALSO South of Sinnoh, and I think that they are connected VIA Victory Road/Mt. Cornet (See BP's picture)
Hoenn is Southwest of Johto, connected by Cianwood (it looks like...) but nothing else connects to Hoenn

So its Sinnoh North of Kanto and Johto (Near the middle)
Kanto and Johto connecting (I think VIA part of Mt. Cornet)
and Hoenn is just SW of Johto, which leaves an open space North of Johto that is also West of Sinnoh.

Hey if you realy want a remake of pokemon silver/gold go and download shiny gold by zel

When DuskGold and DawnSilver comes out, we won't even need Shiny Gold!
Why have the GBA wanna-be when you can have the real thing?

So its Sinnoh North of Kanto and Johto (Near the middle)
Kanto and Johto connecting (I think VIA part of Mt. Cornet)
and Hoenn is just SW of Johto, which leaves an open space North of Johto that is also West of Sinnoh.

So, that means there may be yet another region to fill the gap?
Hmmm...

Yep pretty much as I stated before but whatever Its time to see what is the 5th region.
Also yeah why play zel's(although you got to admit it is the best out there) when you have a ds remake around the corner.
P.S I'm not a noob I had my name changed

A name change doesn't remove your status as a noob. xD

In the anime, didn't Ash walk to Hoenn? Anime sucks anyway.

Not what I meant but anyway yeah he did so WTF. Mabye hoenn in the anime is the 5th generation could be wrong but whatever.

We must have different interpretations of what a noob is.
Kanto, according to Wikipedia:
Kanto lies to the east of Johto; they presumably make up a small continent. South of Kanto are the Sevii and Orange Islands. Hoenn, introduced in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, is supposedly further to the southwest.

Johto, according to Wikipedia:
Johto lies directly to the west of Kanto and to the northeast of Hoenn.

Hoenn, according to Wikipedia:
lies to the southwest of Kanto and Johto in the Pokémon world.

Sinnoh, according to Wikipedia:
While this region's location with relation to other regions portrayed in the franchise is unknown, Ash Ketchum refers to Sinnoh as an island during the English dub of the last episode of season 9 of the anime, while Professor Oak mentions that it's located to the north of the Kanto/Johto landmass.

As a result of playing too much Apollo Justice, I'd usually look for contradictions. But I'm not going to.

Anyway, that clears up where regions connect and such. Hoenn is separate and unattached. That island, in Hoenn, that darkcookie_93 pointed out is quite intriguing as it's so random. Random landmasses are usually a lot smaller too; so there's room for suspicion and speculation there. So... why was the issue of where lands connect bought up... and what relevance did it have? I forgotted.

Jim and Darkcookie_93, you're drifting off topic here. Discussion about the definition of a n00b doesn't really belong here. =\ Please refrain from discussing things that aren't relevant to the topic.

We weren't we had different meanings and that is all. But really now. If they do release it or even make it will it be any good? I mean fire-red/leaf-green was ok but not omg great just ok.
Edit: Also what will the cover look like. The fake ones are pretty good but what I really loved about the old ones is the G/S symbol. The coolest thing associated with pokemon. Period.

Also, a remake would mean more shiny lugias will be available. Im also looking forward to jhoto contests and bug hunting.

WARNING: UNTRUSTABLE SOURCE (dont know if its spelled right)
a friend told me about DuskGold and DawnSilver. possible names for the remakes? or just two other pokemon games? just the time may answer...

Well we all know it by those names seeing as nintendo copyrighted them. Like you said time will tell
