A lil present!..... but for who?

    Well after getting really embarrased in finding my work on orange*berry's site, I decided that I really wanted to have another go at drawing Orenji, as one pic was when I first got PSP and I've learnt so much more since then. The other has me in it, so I wanted to do a 'just' Orenji pic for orange*berry. Well it isn't just Orenji, but it doesn't have another person in it...i have no idea what the lil ruriri should be called, but I'm mad about those lil pokemon atm, and had to add one into this pic. Also at the time I was in a real cardcaptors mood, so I decided to use ideas like the stawberries and wings, though they aren't obvious.

    I really hope you like this pic orange*berry. My intention was to create an even better version compared with the first pic of her that I drew. I hope that I haven't put you little character down in anyway, as she's so sweet. lol I guess this pic is a congrats on the well made new site, so that's why it's a pressie. I hope it does Orenji justice ;)

    lol it's been a long time since I've had a new thread, let alone an art one. Everyone please feel free to comment on it, or critisize it in anyway. It'll help me when I go to do my next piece. :)

    Aww thankies for the comments. Much appreciated ;) I know berry likes it so thats a phew. lol StarLight picked on one of my major weak points...highlights in hair...I can never do them. One day Ill find a way... though I wasn't aiming for anime anime highlights so I dont know :) Thanks for the comment though ;)

Aww I'm glad you like the clothes Miyu..I did get a bit stuck as to whether to add gloves...i don't know it just seemed right. I was worried the colour wouldn't work, but nothing worked better :p thankies again everyone.

    WOWS! I feel so lucky. More lovely comments. Thank you ever so much CaRtOON and bna_li for the kind comments. Wows a great review from CaRtOON...that really pleases me...I'm going to try and continue this style, I loved doing it and I think I've finally found on that works for me. I've been trying and deversing in style, but I'm so pleased I have something more unique to myslef other than the plain (yet difficult to achieve) shading of the pokemon anime style that I also enjoy recreating. Thankies so much everyone :)

    What program did u use? was a hand made drawing and then scanned?
    I think the eyes of both person and pokemon are great, and the hair highlights arent so bad...i think u might want to add them more opacity;).

    WOWS! More lovely commenst! Thankies so much Kayleigh and KingpiN! Oo in anwser to you question KingpiN all of it was done on PaintShopPro7. That's all I have! (expect MS Paint). I don't have a scanner, so almost all my online pics (except those where I sneakly used the college scanner...woo some close scraps there). Thankies for the advice, I'll keep it in mind next time :)
     
    Wow, Iggy your picture's beautiful! I really like the eyes, if you look really closely at them, it almost looks like you can see the night's sky with a moon shining up above, in them; which makes them seem even prettier. The stawberry-winged necklace is also cute and as for the hair, the highlights are ok but what i really love about it, is how the hair curls inwards at the bottom.
