(Ah, OK. Nice idea Randall. :)
I pick :5: OK?
But I've got an interesting idea in how I obtain it so please be patient.
I'll assume I can have tomorrow come now seeing as we are all asleep, yes?)

"Eeyargh!" I yawned loudly as I awoke, the early morning sun blasting through the window onto the bed. I looked at the pillow next to me and felt happy to see my Charmander sleeping peacefully.
"I can challenge Brock this afternoon which gives me some time to train beforehand. I'd like to watch how Brock fights and see if I can come up with a good strategy to beat him" I thought as I got up.
"Oh, darn!" I said out loud as I saw the crumpled clothes on my body.
I went to my bag while removing my creased garments and got out my spare clothes. I tugged on the black T-shirt and jeans I had taken out and adjusted them. I then grabbed my Pokeball belt and put it on, clipping each Pokeball in turn into place.
Charmander yawned on the bed beside me and opened it's eyes warily.
"Come on, get up lazy!" I said to him shoving my clothes into my bag "I've got to get these cleaned and we have some training to do today buddy!"
"Char!" he said eagerly hearing me mention the word "train".
I then remembered how Charmander hadn't had much training in Viridian Forest yesterday.
The little Pokemon leaped off the bed and followed me out of the room which I locked after us. I headed down the hall to the PC where I deposited Caterpie into my Pokemon box.
Next I went over to the vid-phone in the corner and took a card out of my pocket and punched in the number. The screen crackled and came to life revealing an image of an old man.
"Hello Professor Oak!" I said to the man "Not to early is it?"
Oak smiled and said "Of course not D-err..."
"Dane..." I finished for him.
"Ah yes, Dane! No not too early at all, I was just having my morning tea. So how is everything going?" Oak asked.
"Fine! We are at Pewter now and I was going to get some breakfast before doing some training."
"Yes, you will want to get some training in if you are at Pewter, espescially if you intend to take on Brock the Gym leader..." Oak said "But you said "we", are you with others?"
"Oh, yes Professor! Me, and Ash, Liane and Drew sir." I told him.
"Drew hm? He came to my lab very late. I appears he travelled a fair way to my lab. He picked up a Bulbasaur right away, knew what he wanted he did!" Oak said nodding.
"Yes, I know" I said in thought "But there is something I wanted to ask you professor. Do you know about Team Rocket?"
"Team Rocket!" Oak said shocked "I do hope you haven't run into that evil group of Pokemon thieves!"
"Well yes we have unfortunatly" I said unhappily.
"Well then, It's good to see your alright!" Oak pressed in a fatherly way "Those Rockets are a nasty bunch! You had all better stay away from them."
"Yes we will try. Thank you professor!"
"Goodbye then Dane, and keep each other safe, OK?" Oak said seriously.
"Yes sir! We will try! Goodbye!"
I hung up and looked down at my Charmander thoughtfully.
"Staying away from those Rockets will probally be easier said than done!" I said to it.
"Char!" it replied understanding what I meant.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! CLICK! "Uhhh," I moaned rolling out of bed. "8:00 already...Uhh I could use another 3 hours of sleep." "Pikachu!" You coud tell Pikachu was ready for the gym battle today. "I'm not using you buddy." I said gently. "PIKACHU!" He looked furious. "I know you want to battle but this is a rock type gym, Your electric. Your strong but not that strong. You would lose in a second. I am sorry but I am going to use Totodile." I showered, dressed, and brushed my teeth before walking outside. Dane was sitting in the lounge so I walked up to him, "You'll never geuss what I caught last night!"

(Darn...I wanted totodile...lol, whatever. If any of you guys know me as well as some people do, you'll know I dislike having fire type pokemon in my party, so I won't be choosing cyndaquil.)

"Your a cutie aren't you?" I said squatting down next to the Murkrow that had flew straight into the window, which I caught with ease.
"Krow." It said dignifiantly.
"Why don't we have you meet the guys?"I asked standing up and brushing my hair up into my beret.
"Come on." I urged, holding my armout for it to perch on.
As it hopped on I opened the door and followed the hallway out.
"You'll never guess what I caught last night!" I heard Ash say.
"Hi you guys." I said, no longer depressed after my capture of Murkrow.
"Let me guess. You caught a water type from the look on pikachu's face." I said pointing to the angry pikachu, which was indignant from Ash's choice not to use him in his gym battle.
"Well I'm sure you can guess what I caught." I said as Murkrow flapped it's wings lazily on my arm.

OOC:Sorry for the absence yesterday. Internet was on the blitz.

OCC: Ok, Drew you can have Cyndaquil. If you don't want him then pick something else off the list.

IC: "Yeah, I got a totodile! Pikachu is mad, he wants to fight Brock. I told him no because he is electric and Brock uses rock type." Ash said looking sternly at Pikachu. "So who wants to take on Brock first?" Ash asked excited. "Come on anyone?"

"I think Drew should. The gym was closed last night due to the pervert being on a date, and Drew was planning on challanging him first." I said murkrow still perched on my arm, my free hand on my hip.
"But I want to go second. Squirtle needs some exercise." I remembered that Squirtle had not been let out of it's pokeball since...who knows!
"I'll meet you at the gym. I want to do some shopping." I said waving and walking out into the blinding sunlight.
"Come on Murkrow. Let's see if Pewter sells great balls, or ultra balls." I said "Those would be really helpful."

OOC:For the millionth time Randall. FOUR lines.

OCC: Its not the fact it has to be four lines. It is a paragraph it has over 6 sentences. So shut up.

Drew shrugged.

"I guess I'm going first." Drew sighed and picked up his Pokéball that contained Synthes the female Bulbasaur. Drew was in a pinch as he had no other Pokémon to take on Brock, but confident as he was he was determined he was going to win.

Drew took the lead, entering the Gym's entrance. Tape marks can be found on the door from last night's message as Drew pushed the door open. Inside, Drew was amazed. The gym was made of rock, the tiles were roughly smoothened rocks stuck onto concrete. Drew peered over to have a look at the stadium. It was a series of smooth shiny pebbles over the floor. Synthes, excited and stubborn as she was ran into the Stadium. She leapt up instantly. The floor must have tickled.

Drew sighed. "Oh great... If we can someone turn this into a double battle, then Pidgey can carry Synthes."

Just then a rope flew down from what seemed like a balcony, as the same guy the crew saw last night came in, swinging off the rope.

"Pervert." Drew muttered. He let out Pidgey, and decided to let out Weedle after much thought. The bug lay on his shoulder and Pidgey started to warm up by flapping its wings.

"I see you have 3 Pokémon, I'll be using 2, you'll still lose." Brock said confidently. He took out two Pokéballs from the belt on his waist as a giant serpent constructed of rock came out. The second Pokémon was the size of one of the rocks used for the serpent. It had 2 arms coming out, and its body was its face.

Drew chuckled. "His Pokémon 'rocks'"

"Very punny." Brock yelled from over the stadium.

[OOC - This better not be the anime where Team Rocket comes in through the Gym Battle.]

A young boy came out, holding a microphone. "Battle between Brock and..."

"Drew." Drew said emotionlessly. He wanted to fight, he hasn't had one against a trainer for a while. 'I'm not going to let Ash have all the fun.' He thought to himself.

"Go Geodude!" Brock roared. His 'eyes' showed determination... If they ever opened.

"Pidgey!" Drew commanded. The small bird dived straight onto the field, looking at the hovering rock.

"Tackle!" Brock commanded. The rock Pokémon bounced up and down against the stadium floor, as it pushed off with its powerful arms straight against Pidgey.

BAM!

Pidgey fell down with a thud into a sandpit.

"Pidgey, Use a Gust against the sand!" Drew called out.

Pidgey got up from its fall, using its talons to scratch off little bits of sand trapped in its feathers. It left the floor, as it started to flap its wings more violently by the second. Sand started spraying everywhere, as it started to look like smoke. A small tornado started to form as Pidgey gave a final flap and hurled it straight into Geodude.

Particles of Sand were caught into Geodude's eye as it squinted to see what was happening. A huge gust of wind hurled straight into its face as it fell back against a huge boulder. A dent was formed in its back as it pushed off the rock. It showed expressions of pain, but also determination.

"Not bad, Novice." Brock smiled at the comment as Geodude threw itself as it rammed straight into Pidgey. Its Tackle attack was getting stronger.

Drew was shocked. He ran around the arena, checking to see if Pidgey was alright. "Gust again!" Drew ordered. Determination ran strong through Drew. Only one thing mattered now... It was to win.

Pidgey did the same process as he did before, this one only half as strong as the Gust he manipulated a few minnutes earlier.

Geodude easily evaded this one, as it swerved around the tornado, throwing itself into the bird again. Pidgey was weakened.

Drew bit his lip. "Pidgey... The rest is up to you." Drew smiled.

Pidgey turned his head around and nodded. He flew up again and dived straight into Geodude, lifting Geodude up using Pidgey's talons. He continued to fly up as his wing muscles started to bulge. The flaps were getting stronger and stronger. Pidgey's skin was paler than before. He grew several pink feathers from its forehead... He was... Pidgeotto.

Drew smiled. "Go Pidgeotto! Drop him from the top!"

Pidgeotto was determined to win now. Geodude was struggling from underneath. Pidgeotto stopped rising as he positioned his talons so it faced the ground. His wings were raised up as it started to plummet down.

"Go Pidgeotto!" Drew screamed. A big crack was heard as the Pokémon clashed onto the floor. Pidgeotto flew up again, this time triumphant and its talons empty. A crack ran down Geodude's back as it slowly got up, only to faint again.

"Round 1! Victory to Drew!" Drew smiled as Pidgeotto flew over to Drew's shoulder. Weedle crawled back at the sight of the bird, Drew hugged the bird, now bigger than before closely.

The rock serpent behind Brock advanced to the stadium.

"Pidgeotto, can you handle this?" Drew asked his friend.

Pidgeotto nodded as it flew across to the new opponent.

"Let me know when you're tired." Drew finished. He wipe a sweat from his brow.

"Round 2! Drew's Pidgeotto versus Brock's Onix! Drew has 2 Pokémon in reserve, Brock has none." The referee called out.

"Battle Begin!"

Pidgeotto proceeded to Onix. The Rock Serpent gave a deep growl as he hurled his head into Pidgeotto. Pidgeotto had improved in speed and reflexes as it dived downwards, evading the tackle. Onix whipped his tail, catching Pidgeotto right in the stomach. Onix roared as he slammed Pidgeotto down. The bird gave a finally chirp as it fainted.

"Return Pidgeotto." Drew said. He held out his Pokéball as the bird dematerialized into a transparent red light and into the Pokéball.

"Synthes... All up to you." Drew turned his head, nodding at his Bulbasaur. Synthes ran forwards, she hesitated for a while as she took out two vines from her bulb, wrapping comfortably around Onix's neck. Synthes struck again, now that Onix couldn't move. It launched a seed from the top of the bulb as it hit directly into Onix's tail. The seed started to grow as the sprouts wrapped around the massive Pokémon. The seed glowed for a split second, as Synthes' bulb glowed in the same manner.

"Leech Seed." Drew said quietly.

(Outskate: 1) Wow, I'm impressed! Your battle descriptions are really good this time!
2) I hope this isn't going to be like the anime either. I don't want us to win every battle by a stroke of luck or Team Rocket turning up all the time. :\

Randall & Naoko: What are you arguing about exactly?)

"That's pretty impressive!" I thought as I watch Drew through the glass door of the gym without him knowing.
Watching him do so well was starting to make me nervous. I looked down at my Charmander who also seemed a bit frightened of the battle raging inside.
"Don't worry Charmander, we will do OK" I said smiling weakly.
I suddenly had the feeling someone was watching me so I turned sharply to see a rather cool looking male trainer observing me from behind.
"Hey!" I said, a little shocked and annoyed "What do you want?"
"Hm!" he chuckled looking smug "You were not planning on challenging that gym were you? A rookie trainer like you wouldn't stand a chance!"
"Huh?" I said angrily "And what would you know?"
"Maybe 'this' will show you what I know?" he replied pulling back his coat and showing off three shiny badges.
"Ohhh!" I said unable tohold back that this impressed me.
"Ha!" he said smiling again "Knew it! And it will take a rookie like you a looonnng time to catch up with me. But I'm off to win my fourth so it will probally take you even longer"
Something burned inside me, something I hadn't felt in a long time. I was angry, and I wanted to put this guy back in his place.
"How about a match?" I blurted out without really thinking "One on one!"
"Ok..." he said smoothly looking at my Charmander with interest "...but if I win, I get your Charmander..."
"Uh..." I choked out. I hadn't been expecting this. I looked at Charmander sadly, he seemed to make up his mind instantly.
"Char!" he growled making the choice I couldn't have. He seemed more willing that I was to prove my abilities as a trainer.
"OK...but seeing as Charmander is at stake, I'll use him" I said still slightly unsure. "Who are you anyway?" I asked the trainer.
He smiled and said smugly "The name's 'Adam' rookie, and you had better remember it!" he said whipping out a Pokeball from the six on his belt.
"Charmander go!" I cried.
Adam raised his Pokeball and threw it shouting "Graveler, get him!"

OOC:Sorry, my internet's been on the blitz, I'll post my gym battle tomorrow after skating practice! ---Sorry!---

~Naoko~

Onix was struggling.

"Rocket Tackle!" Brock commanded. Drew was surprised. Rocket Tackle didn't seem to be a real move, but then again, the move that Drew taught Pidgey wasn't a real one either.

"Synthes, watch out!" Drew cried out.

Onix rammed his head straight into that of Drew's Bulbasaur. It caught half of Synthes' body due to its restriction, but Synthes didn't seem to be as agile as Drew thought. Synthes broke free as she whipped out 2 of her whips. She bound them around Onix, knocking the giant Pokémon against the floor. A small ball of energy came from the Leech Seed, as it went into the bulb of Synthes. Synthes gave a small glow as she reverted back to her normal state.

"Give Onix another Vine Whip!" Drew shouted.

Synthes ran forward, as her vines came out once again.

"Rocket Tackle!" Brock cried with the last of his breath. Onix rose from the trap it had been in, snapping off the vines. It fell back a bit before ramming full force into Synthes.

Drew paused momentarily. He turned his head around, looking at Weedle.

"It's up to you little buddy." Drew whispered. Determination was weak in the Pokémon, but a small bug winning a giant rock serpent might proove to be quite good for Weedle. Weedle leaned backwards as he jumped onto the field. Using his whole body, Weedle crawled across the field, but looked a bit more like gliding than crawling due to no pause in the process.

Brock laughed at the small bug that had arrived on the field.

"I'll give you a handicap for that little bug." Brock chuckled. Onix went into a resting stance.

"Weedle..." Drew hesitated. A drop of sweat dripped into his mouth, as Drew spat it out on contact. The spit landed on a rock as the liquid started to spread out, leaving a bigger mark than it contacted. Drew smiled.

"Weedle... Poison sting... AIM FOR THE SEED!" Drew called out.

Brock stamped his foot hard on the floor.

Weedle was a rather fast Pokémon. It ran up Onix as it positioned its needle as it stabbed into the seed. The sprouts of the leech seed started to look like it was stained purple. Weedle leapt off Onix, retreating. Onix coughed a few times as it rose again.

"Tackle this one." Brock called out.

Onix leaned backwards as it rammed into Weedle. The small bug evaded the attack and gave a small squeak. Onix eyes started to close, until it finally passed out.

"Winner, Drew!" The referee called out. Drew jumped up and down, cheering as loud as he could from all the commands he had sent out. Synthes and Pidgeotto smiled weakly, as Weedle jumped around as if it had even more energy than before. A small light enveloped it as its exoskeleton started to glow. Weedle hung upside down as a Cacoon started to form around his body. It was greener than normal Kakuna due to it being shiny. It gave out a muffled sound.

"Kakuna." Drew said silently.

Brock walked over, handing Drew a small badger. It was a small rock, decorated grey in color.

"You deserve this... And also, I met my dad last night. He gave me this Pokémon, my Dad told me to give it to whoever I think should deserve it. You showed much strategy in your battling, and you didn't push your Pokémon." Brock took a deep breath. "I'm Brock, nice to meet you Drew."

Drew smiled as a Pokéball dropped into his hands. Through the translucent red top he peered in and saw something extraordinary. A Cyndaquil.

"Charmander Ember!" I commanded.
"Graveler Rock Throw now!" Adam boldly stated.
My Charmander's flames struck the flying bolders and died out.
"Charmander...!" I shouted thinking hard "Scratch quickly!"
Charmander ran forward and drew his craws ready to strike.
"Hh, hm!" Adam mumbled pleased "Graveler, Defense Curl!"
As my lizard brought his sharp claws down to strike, the Graveler curled up and absorbed the attack.
"What?!" I cried "No Charmander use-"
"Graveler crush that puny Pokemon!" Adam commander smugly.
"Grr!" the growled and threw itself down onto my Charmander, pinning him to the floor.
"No! Charmander!" I shouted in desperation.
"Ha! I knew you were a pathetic trainer and now I'm gonna prove it by blasting your pathetic Pokemon into my service!" Adam smiled at his success "Your not fit for that Charmander, in fact...your not fit for any Pokemon at all! You should be happy that your Pokemon is gonna get a proper trainer for once, so why don't you just give it up you-?"
Adam was stopped by a bright light enveloping his Graveler.
"Huh? What the-?" Adam said the smile fading from his face.
"Charmander...?" I said also shocked.
"CHAR!!" Charmander shouted loudly as he pushed Graveler upwards and brought back his glowing hand. The graveler looked as shocked as we did.
"Charmander!" my Pokemon growled as he brought his claw forward and stuck the Graveler squarely in the chest sending it flying back wards with great force.
"No, It's impossible!" Adam was shouting "How could your Pokemon have learned Metal Claw?"
"Metal Claw?" I said curiously "So that's what it was! And steel is effective against-!"
I ran forward and shouted "Now Charmander! Use Metal Claw!"
"Char!" he replied nodding before racing forwards, his arm covered in white light.
"Graa!" the Graveler shouted as my Pokemon sent it flying.
"Graveler!" Adam cried to it as it fainted on the floor. Adam looked on in disbelief for a second before he clenched his fists and shook with anger.
"Graveler...how could you...but i've beaten gym leaders...and...and...HOW COULD YOU BEAT ME?!" Adam shouted in anger.
I couldn't really think of anything to say, so I picked up Charmander and headed towards the forest.
"Wh-wait!" Adam cried running after me "Who are you...?"
"My name is Dane Carter..." I said shortly.
"D-dane?" Adam said with a look of realisation "Y-you couldn't be...?"
"Maybe...maybe not...but that's my business" I replied simply.
"Well...it would explain your talent!" Adam said suddenly impressed "Are you going to-?"
"No I'm not" I said lowering my head slightly and walking away from Adam "I'm not like my father...not at all"

OOC:My internet connections been stupid lately, so pardon if I don't post a lot.

IC:"My turn." I said standing up and tossing Squirtle's pokeball to my right hand.
"Alright, but if I win you have to go out on a date with me!" Brock said grinning like a madman.
I sweatdropped and said "Then I guess I shouldn't lose huh? Go Squirtle!"
Brock's face fell at the comment but he resumed his usual face and called "Let's win this Rhyhorn!"
"Rhyhorn, start it off with Horn Attack!" Brock said throwing his arm out for emphasis.
"Squirtle use protect!" I commanded, as Squirtle held it's hands out and a greenish sheild like barrier appeared in front of the little turtle pokemon.
Rhyhorn, I knew, we known for not being the brightest pokemon of all, and usually running with their horns outstretched, forgetting why they started running in the first place.
So naturally it continued to run, ignoring the barrier, in fact ramming straight into it!
As Rhyhorn shook it's head to clear excess pain, I called out to Squirtle "Use rapid spin!"
As Rhyhorn got ready for a command from Brock, Squirtle withdrew into it's shell and started to spin at an alarming rate toward the Rhyhorn.
"Counter with earthquake!" Brock said quickly, as Rhyhorn began to stomp it's feet on the ground, making it shake, just like a real earthquake.
Squirtle was knocked off course, and started to spin very awkwardly.
"Squirtle, Try a Bubble attack!" I said.
Squirtle pulled itself out of it's now out of control shell and released a barrage of bubbles.
As the bubbles hit Rhyhorn directly, it shook it's head trying to whisk the annoying watery bubbles away from it.
"Finish it with Water Gun!" I said, knowing this would have a type advantage.
The jet of water swept the bubbles away and hit the Rhyhorn, who was still struggling to do away with the bubbles, was hit directly as the water shot the bubbles away from Rhyhorns head so quickly that it had no time to recouperate.
"Yes!" I cried.
"Return Rhyhorn!" Brock called, as a beam of red light encased the knocked out pokemon, making it disappear from the field.
"Let's try this-Go Golbat!" Brock said, calling a bat like pokemon to the field.
"Unattractive." I commented as I returned squirtle, "Let's finish this battle Murkrow!"
"Use Bite!" Brock commanded.
"Use Frustration!" I said at about the same time.
Murkrow became extrememly angry, as Golbat moved in.
As Murkrows angry made it slip out of the air for a few seconds, Making the golbat instead, bite the black hat the sat on it's head.
To counter act, with Frustration, Murkrow used its forked beak and bit golbat's wing, putting it out of action quite quickly.
"Oh yeah!" I said, punching the air "Who doesn't have to go out with a pervert? Me!"
Brock fell over anime style.

Drew's jaws dropped.

"That was fast." Drew cried out. He sat on the benches. Dane had gone off somewhere, and it seemed that Ash was next to battle. Drew had no idea what Ash was going to do. He had a Pikachu an Eevee... Or did he have a secret weapon? Drew scratched his head as he saw the Pervert Gym Leader walk over to his a small box. Inside there seemed to be a lot of Pokémon. He took two different ones out, ready to face Ash.

Drew walked over to Liane, giving her a high five on her win against the Pervert.

OOC:No time to post a good IC, but just to let ya'll know I hate doing gym battles, soooooo yeah....

IC:"Thanks!" I said, thouraghly relieved.
"Where did Dane go?" I asked Drew as I sat down on the benches beside where he was just sitting.
"Oh, and good luck Ash!" I added.
Brock wasn't really that hard... I thought ...Maybe the others will be just as easy! If they are, then we'll be around the region within...a few months!

OOC:^short I know, but I'm on a budget here!

Drew was speechless. "I don't know, I was wondering myself."

Drew looked at Ash. He seemed nervous.

"Are you going to go or what?"

*PMs Randall*

(I'll do my Gym battle seeing as Randall isn't here...
Naoko and Outskate, I've had your characters say something. If you don't like it tell me and i'll delete it. It will save us all a lot of hassle.)

I stormed into the gym fully focused and ready, surprising Liane and making her turn around sharply.
"Where-have-you-been?" she questioned at once with her hands on her hips.
"I've been doing some training... and some thinking..." I replied caught off guard.
"Well, seeing as your here now you can fight the perverted gym leader" she stated pointing at Brock.

I looked up at Brock at the other end of the room and nodded at Liane.
I swore I could almost feel the tension in the air.
It was then that Brock spoke to me, his voice echoing around the gym: "I am Brock. The leader of Pewter City Gym. It is my goal as a gym leader to test all new trainers who deem themselves ready to climb the steps to the pokemon league with a battle and-"
"Yeah, yeah... just get on with it already!" Liane interupted, obviously she not taken by Brocks attempt to reclaim his dignity after loosing to her.
I was thankful for her being here.
"OK..." Brock said "Rules are the same as usual: Whoever wins is claimed victor of the match. We will both use two Pokemon and only two, got it?"
I nodded in understanding of the situation and raised my arm holding my Pokeball.

"Geodude go!" Brock cried throwing his ball onto the rocky battlefield.
"This is going to be tough..." I thought to myself clutching my ball and feeling it expand in my hand "But I won't give up!"
"Charmander I choose you!" I shouted boldy throwing my ball.
"Char!" my little pokemon cried as it materialised in front of the other pokemon.
"Charmander?! Why Charmander?" Drew cried behind me.
Brock seemed to agree with Drew.
"Your obviously not as good as what I was hoping for" he shouted "Geodude use Rock Throw!"
"Charmander! Dodge it and counter it with an Ember!" I commanded quickly.
As the rocks flew forwards, my pokemon leaped across them carefully dodging them before swinging its flaming tail right into the rock pokemon's face.
"Duuude!" the pokemon growled as it fell backwards. The attack obviously hadn't done much damage but at least it had hit forcing Brock to rethink his strategy.
"Hey, not bad!" he said slightly impressed "OK Geodude! Use Magnitude!"
"This is it!" I thought.
"Charmander use Metal Claw!" I shouted.

It all happened within seconds.

Charmander obediently ran forward his claws glowing with a weird whitish glow. As the Geodude brought his body down sharply to shake the earth my pokemon's arm met him half way and sent it flying across the room and into a small rock pillar scattering dust everywhere.

Both me and Brock ran forward to see how the pokemon has took the attack, but it was obvious what had happened to it when we both saw it's swirly eyes.
"Duuuddee...!" it wimpered as it fainted.
Brock was almost speechless.
"A fire pokemon... beat my rock pokemon? That has never happened before..." he mumbled under his breath before turning to me.
"What kind of a pokemon trainer are you?" he asked "Your either very lucky...or amazingly skilled!"
"Um..." I mumbled kind of shocked from being praised.
"But we still have a battle to finish..." he said walking back to his spot and taking out his second pokemon "...so lets see if that win really was just beginners luck..."

Seeing him lose twice in a row then lose to a fire type, it had to be embarasing." I started to laugh. You call yourself a Gym Leader? HA! You can't even beat a fire type! I can't wait till I battle you!" Ash started to cackle as his pokenav started to buzz. "Hello? Hi Oak! Yes I am at the gym now. No not fighting! Sure be there in a sec." Ash hung up the pokenav. I will be right back Oaks assistant has somthing for me! Be right back.

OOC - You can control my character and make him say things, as long as they're normal things, so don't make Drew say "I love Gummy Bears on cheese pizza."

Drew was pretty amazed. "When did Charmander's know that attack?"

Brock coughed purposely. "Stupid kids... How did Humans learn to talk? We evolved from those creatures called 'apes'. Charmanders did the same, as they evolved their claws got harder and now they're capable of momentarily turning it into Metal... But I haven't been battling Charmanders for quite a while..."

Drew seemed a little shocked. "And how would you know this?"

Brock, confident in his words spoke out loud. "Because I am a Pokémon Breeder!" Brock struck a pose as Drew rolled his eyes.

"We've got a battle going on here." Dane called out. [Don't think you'd mind.]

Drew turned his head to face Dane.

"Sorry Dane."

(Outskate: 1) I wouldn't make your character say anything like that anyway.
2) Charmander actually does learn Metal Claw on level 13 in the latest games. Dunno if you knew that and were trying to mention how it must of happened.
3) My character would be more likely to say something a bit more polite, but that's fine I guess...

By the way, I'm sorry to keep you lot waiting. It isn't easy to type such a lot in one go, even for me.)

While the others were bickering about my recent win I was starting to feel impatient and the tension was really getting to me.
"We've got a battle going on here" I finally called out to them wanting to get this over with.
"Sorry Dane" Drew said as if it was all his fault.
This made me feel kind of bad.
"Right, enough talking!" Brock called throwing his second pokeball into the battlefield "Time to finish this!"
"Groarr!" the gigantic rock pokemon roared as it appeared, towering over my little fire lizard.
"An Onix!" I said very frightened now "Charmander can't take on that!"
But Brock was far more focused this time and didn't give me much of a chance to do anything.
"Onix! Rock Tomb now!" he shouted.
"Groarggg!" the huge rock beast roared slaming big rocks down towards my pokemon.
"Charmander!" I cried thinking hard but nothing came to mind.
Charmander improvised for me and attempted to escape the attack, hopping over the rocks. Suddenly Charmander tripped and fell right where a rock was about to strike.
Finding my voice I cried out "Charmander! MOVE IT!"
The pokemon heard me and looked up to see the falling rock which it barely dodged by rolling out of the way.
"Charmander can't win this no matter how good he is!" I thought in desperation "But I can't think what pokemon I could use to take down this stone monster...
"Charmander return!" I shouted raising the pokeball which pulled my pokemon out of danger.
"Have you finally decided to give in?" Brock asked probally thinking I was just lucky last time.
I closed my eyes ready to confide defeat when my fingers came across another ball.
"Huh? What's this?" I mumbled to myself expanding the ball in my fingers "Hang on...this must be...?"
It felt like I had been struck by lightning as an image flashed across my mind of what I held in my hand.
"Of course..." I muttered.
"Ready to give up?" in Brock said looking slightly smug.
"No!" I replied boldly which struck Brock by surprise.
"What did you say?" he said believing I had already lost.
"It means no!" I shouted throwing the ball in my hand.
The ball struck the floor and the released energy took form.
"Kee!" the wild monkey cried.
"A Mankey?" someone said behind me.
The pokemon looked a little confused but seemed to perk up when it saw the Onix.
"I'm counting on you Mankey!" I shouted to it.
"Enough of this!" Brock shouted "Onix Rock Throw!"
As the rocks flew forward the monkey was able to jump far swifter than my Charmander and easily dodged the attack.
"Keeee!" the pokemon cried angrily as it kicked the Onix hard.
I watched in shock as the enormous stone pokemon collapsed onto the floor.
"OK Mankey! You've done it!" I shouted but the pokemon seemed to have something else in mind as it kept striking the pokemon hard with it's hands.
"Hey Mankey stop!" I shouted in horror as the pokemon went mad with it's chopping and wouldn't stop.
Both me and Brock ran forward but I got there first. I made a grab for the pokemon but it leaped away and stopped staring up at me in anger.
"Mankey..." I said in shock.
The pokemon stared at me ready to strike.
"That Mankey's ready to kill! Move away Dane!" Brock shouted to me as he approached.
"This is all my fault" I thought "I pushed it too hard...I have to do something..."
"Dane!" Liane screamed at me rushing over "Move!"

It was too late.

The pokemon leaped at me and I attempted a grab at it which failed.
The Mankey's leg struck my face and I felt a cold chill envelop my body as I fell to the floor.
Time seemed to stand still, so I don't know how long i was lying there.
But I could hear the faint pounding of footsteps nearing me as I drifted away to unconciousness...

(1) I hope this is ok with you lot. Please tell me if you like or hate this sort of drama.
2) I'm not dead.
3) Mankey isn't evil. He is just upset because his last trainer abused him.)

OOC:Tis' fine.

IC: I grabbed a pokeball from my side and shouted "Go delibird!"
"Use present!" I shouted, as I crouched down next to Dane.
Delibird shoved a neatly wrapped gift into the angry mankey's hands, and ran away.
The box exploded, knocking the Mankey out temporarily.
I took Mankey's pokeball from Dane's belt and returned the unconsious pokemon.
"You guys!" I shouted over to Ash and Drew "You don't expect me to get him to the pokemon center myself do you?"
I almost cringed quite visibly at the thought of carrying Dane.
BLEH!
"Dane?" I asked, pushing his shoulder a little bit to see if he was even remotely consicious.
"Dane?!" I asked again, more violently shaking his shoulder "He's definetly not here..." I muttered half-sarcastic, half-concerned.
