Greenlit: A Sequel To Pokemon Snap: Should It Be Made?

I was thinking of possibly making an opinionated piece about whether or not Pokemon Snap, a unique Pokemon game from the N64 era, should be made in today's market with its current platform the Wii U and/or possibly a smartphone direction (as Nintendo is starting to lean towards that market.) Was wondering what you guys thought about this idea/if there's any points that I should try to cover on this topic.

Yes, I think that's a great discussion topic. Snap on the Wii U makes so much sense to me given the gamepad and I'm surprised they didn't make it.

Also worth pointing out that the original Snap exists on the Virtual Console, but I don't believe it has the full capability one would hope the Gamepad would employ with a sequel. May be worth looking at sales for the original spinoff title as well (https://vgsales.wikia.com/wiki/Pokémon) - 3.63 million is nothing to sniff at.

Okay. Now, let me explain. I spent many, many hour searching for the perfect image of someone (my idea was Prof. Oak) contemplating a second Pokemon Snap. And I just couldn't find one. After multiple attempts at drawing my own, I came to the conclusion that it would take far, far too long for me to complete a fully rendered image if it relied on my art alone. So, I went back to the drawing board and came up with the idea of creating a legit logo for Pokemon Snap 2. I don't know if you like it, but here's the result:

Also a potato quality animated version woo!

So basically, depending on how long the article will take to be published and how much you like the current cover, I can hand draw exactly what you wanted. It will just take time and I really wanted to show you *something* and not keep you waiting. So let me know, do you like this current cover or do you want me to keep drawing your original idea?
