NIGHT SIX​

Loras Tyrell stepped out into the light. He was put up for death, he knew. This was no fair duel.

Robert Strong stood at the other end of the arena, giant hammer by his side.

"This is a slaughter."

Robert Strong raised the hammer and roared in fury, charging towards Loras. He was going for the quick kill, but Loras was skillful enough to see that.

Loras raised his longsword as the hammer came down. It vibrated across his sword and sent him spinning. He recovered quickly, countering the attack with a swift stab towards the monster's belly.

Another roar.

Loras was already winded. He breathed heavy as Robert Strong charged again, swinging the hammer from side to side.

Loras ducked and rolled past the hammer, slicing a thick chunk out of the monster's arm. Robert Strong struck at Loras with his fist, covered in metal spikes. Loras blocked the strike, but stumbled as he received the giant hammer's crushing blow to his ribs. He felt them break.

Loras stumbled backwards. Was this it?

He heard giant footsteps behind him and rolled out of the way in time as the hammer came down just where his body had been. He slashed once more at Robert Strong's body, cutting deep.

Robert Strong roared again, throwing down his hammer and grabbing Loras with his bare hands as Loras took a moment to rest.

"PUNY MAN DIES TODAY!" he screamed, punching Loras square in the face. He threw the smaller man across the yard, where he crashed into the wall with a sickening crunch. His sword landed between the two men.

Loras stood, barely alive. This had to be it. He looked at his father and sister. And then he saw it.

Robert Strong had slumped over, breathing heavy, to retrieve his hammer.

"Now!"

Loras ran forward, scooping his sword up as he went. He jumped atop the monster's back and drove his sword deep into his neck.

Robert Strong collapsed, yielding to the might of the smaller man.

Loras cut the armor off the monster and tossed it down the cliffs into the ocean.

"You have mercy, bastard, but now you are as mortal as I am."

Loras raised his bloody sword in triumph. Somehow he had won. Somehow he had done the impossible.​

The Blackfish stood outside the gates to Winterfell. His niece was here. His only family left.

He entered as the portcullis opened.​

Theon Greyjoy lay on a cot, dead. His bloody body had finally given out. After all the fighting he had done, he had lost to an open flesh wound.

Asha sat beside his body. Anger and grief filling her heart.​

THEON GREYJOY HAS DIED​

Loras Tyrell was still raising his sword. Glory awaited him. He had beaten the unbeatable. As he bowed to the crowd, a hand grasped his ankle.

Robert Strong was reaching out towards him.

"What do you want, you pathetic creature?"

"Y-your life, little flower."

Robert Strong crushed the ankle in his grasp, standing tall. He grabbed Loras by the neck and began twisting his hands. Loras tried to pull the hands away, as his lungs gasped for air. He kicked, punched, and flailed, but nothing worked.

Until his eyes popped from their sockets and the sound of crushing bones met the crowd's ears. Robert Strong threw the lifeless body towards the dead man's sister. She burst into tears.

"I win."​
