Advanced Fillers

Ok, so we all know there are literally hundreds of "Filler" episodes, often featuring nothing important at all, save the debut of a new pokémon, and a "Character of the day" appearing. Many people claim these are a waste of time, myself included often enough, but I'm pretty sure we all have some fillers that we just really can't help enjoying, no matter how little actually happens.

As there are hundreds, I'm going to tie this down to Advanced (Season 6 - 8).

What are your favourite filler episodes in the Advanced anime?

Personally, I really like AG043 Let Bagons Be Bagons (Episode 3 of Advanced Challenge). Why? Well, I find Bagon adorable due to its' dream of flying, as well as the fact that I love dragon pokémon. It's also one of those times where a decent battle takes place outside of a gym / league / rival battle. And to top it all off, Bagon's happiness when he's flying (being carried by Meowth, and when he's carrying Treecko) just makes me laugh, and gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside for some reason :S
Meowth's "Da Boss" fantasies were also pretty good - particularly the second one, where there was a flying Bagon instead of what I presumed would be a Salamence cracking open coconuts in mid-air. Bagon and Treecko's raid on the helicopter was good - Team Rocket's faces when he flew up alongside them!

Oh, and one other thing - have you noticed how the Bagon's owner has glasses similar in appearance to Hunter J? If you ignore the fact that Ash didn't age, could it be the same person? I doubt it, but still, interesting theory, right?

So...here's hoping I've made a good point and this thread doesn't crash and burn! :D

N.B. You don't have to have one favourite, by the way. I know I certainly don't.

Oh...That Bagon episodes actually made me love it's evolutionary family!

But yeah, Advance fillers made more sense than most, I consider Advance fillers to be the best. I mean, Advance was when the anime was just awesome.

This seems interesting - For me, it would have to be "Pearls Are A Spoink's Best Friend"
It was very funny. At the start we have Giovanni talking to Team Rocket over the phone, and that little rivalry between Meowth and Persian, it even does that really funny face:

It was also really funny when Spoink kept trying other pokémon on it's head as Pearls xD Like Igglypuff, Voltorb and Electrode:

Plus Team Rocket get conned by the Magikarp salesman again xD :

Haha, I remember that one, it was really good!

It's may amaze you to know that I think Magikarp makes a pretty damn realistic Feebas. Maybe it's because they both look gormless, and have no attacks whatsoever.
I never noticed the Persian face bit though, I'll have to look out for that :D

There are way too many Advanced fillers out there for me to choose, but if I had a choice, it would be the episode with the giant Claydol in it (forgot the name). It was funny seeing Claydol chasing after Wobbuffet.

My favorites would be the following:

    1. A Six Pack Attack!- We got to see more interactions with Professor Oak; in fact, Oak is the one really able to outsmart Team Rocket. To their credit though, Team Rocket was also up to par in this episode. They managed to booby trap their base fairly well, and it was cool how the base turned into another of their mechs.

    2. Me, Myself, and Time- I found this episode to be fairly dramatic.

    3. Hokey Pokeballs- I liked seeing the interactions between the two Bulbasaurs, as well as how May's Bulbasaur reacted to the city at the beginning. Also, Team Rocket had a good number of tricks up their sleeve this episode; however, these were compounded by their blunders.

    4. A Scare to Remember!- This episode is very emotional, as Ash has to deal with Pikachu's memory loss. It's a unique and somewhat disturbing moment when Pikachu jumps into Team Rocket's motto. The scene where Ash is floating down with Pikachu with flashbacks was very heartbreaking to me.
