Agree or Disagree (2.0)

If I'm understanding that well – that gaming made it easier to make friends in general – then agree. There's a bunch of people I've been close with that I'd never approached if not for a game we both play.

Assuming that nothing exists after death, does life hold any objective value? Eventually, this rock we live on will cease to exist :p

Yes; life holds the value. If we are still alive then we should need to keep moving and doing until getting perished. Many people just can't live long, and even many die as soon as they are born or near to that, but that's not the case for us, hence we should try to make it meaningful. The Rock on which we live may cease to exist, but hoping to cease ourselves due to that may not sound appealing to me. Is there any point for you to play the games despite knowing that those games are not perennial ? Is there any point for you to go for vacation despite knowing that you have back to your home at last ? Why should we start doing anything if the task is bound to get finished ?

Personally, I don't believe in yours idea, and have different views regarding many things as well. As said famously; "Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value." Hence abiding by it is what I seek.

Life has no objective values, except keep moving until our fuel runs out. Either our boat sails through the sea, or the sea sails down the boat. Even after that we are not drowned until we stop moving ourselves. It is well said in our culture that we are considered as living dead if we cease to do the work and stop moving with the belief that death is inevitable.

Underwater and wildlife exploration is better than sightseeing the buildings and architectures in the cities.

Technically, we could simply do nothing and die. The universe would be no different because of our actions. We simply don't because life instinctively moves forward, no reason needed. At least, that's what I think. (Also it's boring doing nothing :p)

Tbf, I don't particularly care for either but the former at least sounds more interesting. So agree :D

Nobody should be criticised or shamed for the fictional content they consumed. It ain't real and is a real brain drain when I see arguments about it :p

Agree. The lack of that is one of the major reasons why the world is so full of shit. Everyone's too busy serving themselves.

Complexity should be avoided/abstracted as much as possible. It's just headache

Um… As far as I know, there are only 2 princesses in Mario Universe namely Peach and Daisy. If you count Roselina also then there are 3. Princess Peach has already got a new NS game this year, so you may talk about making Daisy/Roselina also be the main character of the game, or making Princess Peach being a game series.

To me, I will just say 'AGREE' as I also like them. (Princess Daisy is my favourite.) But, practically, it's not easy to do so as there are already a lot of game series for Nintendo, where both Princess Daisy or Roselina can't easy stand out among of them. If they just make a 'fan-based platformer game', the outcome may be very poor and we all fans wouldn't like to see it. It may be possible if Nintendo can find out some 'different game' for these Princesses with good gameplay or stories, but honestly I think it's hard as Nintendo almost got any possible game types. As the target audience of these princesses nowadays are 'children', Nintendo may make some 'kid-games' for them, like easy customisation, easy platformer game…… I don't know.

Sorry to saying too much here. :sadwick: But I will say I hope to see these games appeared, no matter how these games look like.

=============================

Science helped us to discover the world; however, nowadays Science is 'digging too far away' that some facts we should not discover in the world/universe.

I do think there can be a dread in discovering facts in the universe, but I also just think some of the things people discover is really interesting. So I'd rather we continue discovering new things and gain a better understanding of the world/universe than just live in blissful ignorance. I'll have to disagree.

The legacy or significance of a piece of media should not be tied to the person or people who created it.

idk, I feel conflicted about this. On one hand, people can interpret and be inspired by art in ways the original author never intended. But on the other hand, the author is an inherent and integral aspect of any piece of art. I'll say agree, with the caveat that I still wouldn't personally feel comfortable consuming art made by someone who's committed reprehensible acts.

Coins are annoying in pockets.

Yes they are, if we are carrying multiple of them. They either create a bulge or make sounds while walking. And I also need to take care of them while cycling, otherwise they might pop out !!

Playing with Ice cubes is quite interesting !!
:tongue::tongue::tongue:

Agree, physical media is underrated in general, it's nice to know you'll 100% have a specific piece of content instead of hoping it's on whatever streaming services you pay for.

Handwritten letters are more personal then typed letters or emails.

Agree. Digital Cards are all online, and doesn't feel as good as real cards in hand. The charm of having Pokemon cards in hand is very different and amazing!

Pokemon GO is better than Pokemon UNITE
