All Scrambled Up!

Ninjask + Yanmega

Wumiorcale

Hint: they made a movie together

Hey, just letting you know those pokemon guesses I think are a post behind!

For your pair: Lucario + Mew

New Pair: barontoxic

Hint 1: They are both Pokémon that Brock uses in the anime!
Hint 2: Both Types of one Pokémon are super-effective against the two Types of the other Pokémon

This game certainly exploded in popularity overnight.

But you know what they say: The more, the merrier!

aidalkaligap

pagilakladia

Dialga!

Pailak…

Palkia!

Dialga + Palkia!

Both can hold signature orbs that boost their elemental STAB moves, the Adamant Orb for Dialga, and the Lustrous Orb for Palkia.

Both are also legendary Dragon-types revered as masters of space and time.

So here's my next puzzle yet again:

SusuruDadhrontNut

Hint 1: Both share a common typing and Abilities.
Hint 2: They like to run and cause trouble.
Hint 3: Identical, but can turn entirely different.
Hint 4: They are from the same Generation.

This one was really hard because the hints were vague and I saw many different names in there! Tornadus and Thundurus seems to make the most sense. At first, I found the likes of Snorunt and Durant, but those didn't make sense at all and I couldn't find anything else when unscrambling those. Yet, Tornadus and Thundurus seem to align with most of the hints and I actually found them both without issue. lol

Final answer: Tornadus and Thundurus

Here's mine:

manualluk

Hint #1: Both are fully evolved.
Hint #2: One has a type that is super effective against the other.
Hint #3: One has a type combination that lets it hit almost every type unresisted except for one type.

manualluk

I see Muk straight away... leaves me with:

anuall -> Lunala

Muk & Lunala

depressinglama
Hint: Neither can enter Sword/Shield.
Hint2: Although they both should be able to enter BDSP, one of them can't. If you catch the latter in BDSP, it can't go into Home.
Hint3: Both are catchable in Alola, on the same island.

Edit;
Hint4: Both only have one type, which they share.
Hint5: They were introduced in subsequent generations.

I could make out Spinda, given that I heard reports there is a HOME glitch involving it, but was unable to narrow down eresglam.

Ledian is another guess, but since there is only one type combo alluded to, one shared by two mons, no less, that ain't it, either.

Wait a tick… after consulting the Alola Dex for clues… Smeargle!

Final answer is Spinda + Smeargle

Both are found on Melemele Island, introduced in subsequent generations after Gen I, cannot be used in Sword/Shield, but are obtainable to BDSP, except some glitch messed up Spinda's accessibility to the service.

Man, that was a total headache to solve, not gonna lie…

But anyways, here is my next contribution: Goatmory-Morgparnz

Hint 1: Both have a single type combination.
Hint 2: They are part of evolution lines spanning across generations.
Hint 3: Both are special attackers that can be taught Thunderbolt and Psychic by TM and TR.
Hint 4: Both are usable in Sword/Shield.
Hint 5: Both are even part of Alola's PokéDex roster, both in Sun/Moon and USUM.
Hint 6: They need to be acquired through the same method with particular items, one has to undergo this method twice.

EDIT: One last hint.
Hint 7: These two Pokémon debuted in the same generation.

Goatmory-Morgparnz

That '-' probably means one of them is Porygon-Z.
Both same evo method, so both are trade evos from the same gen. There's an m, a & g... would Magmortar happend to be in there?
*a little later* Yep it's in there.

Porygon-Z & Magmortar!
That '-' kinda gave it away tbh.

Hint: Both are fully evolved and both are a dual type, with no overlapping types between them.
Hint2: Both require a specific item in order to evolve, tough not the same one, and the way the item is involved is different between them.
Hint3: One can hit the other with super effective STAB, though only for one of it's STAB types.
Hint4: One can enter Sword/Shield, the other can't, but still has a different Switch Pokemon game it can enter/be caught in.
Hint5: One of them is an evolution that was introduced in a later generation than it's previous stage.

EvlewTelbaVieceri
Telb V eceri
EvLew a i

Since one of the hints say one candidate is a cross-gen evolution, and judging by the letters, I detect a Weavile in the mix.

Telb Veceri

Hmm… And since one is said to be unusable in SwSh, but transferable to another mainline game, that being BDSP, and one requiring an item to evolve, on top of that… my brain says that shall be… Victreebel!

Weavile is usable in SwSh and evolves from Sneasel, a Gen 2 mon, with the use of an item called the "Razor Claw", and has a STAB type advantage against Victreebel.

Victreebel, though not usable in SwSh, but usable in BDSP, evolves from Weepinbell with the use of a Leaf Stone.

Both are evolved dual-type Pokémon, too.

And therefore, my Final answer is: Weavile + Victreebel!

Next puzzle: Chartrigaypanmort

Hint 1: Both are part of the same Egg Group, although one of them is also part of another Egg Group.
Hint 2: One has a main Ability that can trigger benefits for itself. The other can also benefit from it with it's own main Ability, but it is both situational and looked down upon.
Hint 3: One is slow, but the other is fast. This flip-flops when they use a certain mechanic both can use at one point.
Hint 4: Both are usable in OU.

What affects Speed? Implies not a move from the hint. Not the Accelgor + Escavalier trade. Probably an ability. Not Minior. Not Eiscue. Not Darmanitan. Not Archeops.

Who has Weak Armor? Mandibuzz, Vullaby, Polteageist, Sinistea, Skarmory, Garbodor, Trubbish, Gigalith, Boldore, Roggenrola, Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte?, Omastar?

Cannot think of any others. In that case, maybe the flip side: Gooey, Tangling Hair, and the Eldegoss one. Not the Goomy line. Not the Diglett line. Not the Gossifleur line.

Is there a reverse ability to Unburden? No? Also no for Beast Boost. Not Ditto (copying boosts). Not Sableye (Stall).

(Looking up Weak Armor.) Actually got a good number of them on memory. None of the remaining ones, though.

Does a Mega Evolution slow Pokemon down? Remembers Garchomp and Scizor not being favored for something like this (and better Mega options). ...Yes on Garchomp.

What is left? anyitrart. Looks like Tyranitar. Also yes.

Garchomp + Tyranitar

Next scrambled pair: meanlooktraptl

Hint 1: Shares a type
Hint 2: Shares a Poison-type move in their Sword/Shield level-up list, despite neither being Poison-type.
Hint 3: Finds the first letter of one Pokemon's name at the end of the other Pokemon's name. Holds true both ways.

meanlooktraptl

Patrat?
menlookl -> leaves no T or P for the third hint. Probably not it.

Should probably just focus on that 'k'...

Komala?
enotrptl -> Same problem as above... no A or K left.

Morpeko?
anltatl -> same problem again smh

Torkoal?
meanlpt -> Lampent

Torkoal + Lampent

atkatakanakarats
Hint: Both are from the same generation and belong to the same group of Pokemon, but 1 of them was introduced later in the same generation.
Hint2: They are both dual type and have one type in common.
Hint3: They have the same ability.

Stakataka and Kartana

I mean, you didn't even make that hard at all. lol I literally just looked at it and saw it!

Eatnodrawevlirtn

Hint #1: They are three generations apart from each other.
Hint #2: One has a dual type combination.
Hint #3: One has a signature move that can only be learned by only one other Pokémon outside its evolutionary family through leveling up.

Wailord and Trevenant!..... my head hurts.

bmbrlrmoaibeeooli

1. They are one generation apart

2. They are both fully evolved

3. One is weak to the other's main typing

Wow, you solved that pretty quick! I'm impressed!

Anyways, I figured yours out!

Rillaboom and Ribombee

Both are fully evolved, Rillaboom is weak to Ribombee's Bug-typing, and Ribombee is from gen 7 and Rillaboom is from gen 8.

Here's another:

giodriesllgheteiypb

Hint #1: Both are from the same generation.
Hint #2: One is weak to the other.
Hint #3: Both have dual type combinations and share one type with each other.

Diggersby and Helioptile!

syeheaeumrytbe

1. Their generations are not close together
2. Both have connections to space
3. Their non-shiny colors are similar

Hint #3: Both are from different generations

dleuachner

Honedge

Gah... I was brainfarting.... Chandelure!

Geodude + Chandelure

Been here so long just because I didn't see Chandelure T^T

noconelichtrio
Hint: They're from the same generation.
Hint2: They both have only one type, which they do not share.
Hint3: One is a base form.
Hint4: They can both learn Counter. One via level up, the other via egg moves.
