All time favorite starters

Who is your all time favorite starter pokemon? it can be from any game. Mine is Cyndaquil from soul silver because it evolves into Typhlosion.

It's cute, first gen (a huge plus!), very powerful with a badass final evo!

Mine will likely always be Squirtle. Admittedly, I'm biased because it was the first Pokémon I ever had, but I also think that it, along with Wartortle and Blastoise, has a very nice design.

My favorite starter is Cyndaquil. I like its final starter's pure fire tying, typhoon+explosion name origin, fire bursting from its back, and awesome blue+yellow design. roar.

My favourite starter has always been Treecko, but I also like some of the other's evolutions (Bayleef and Prinplup)

My favorite first stage starter is Squirtle, but my favorite from all of their evolutions is Quilava.

Probably Bulbasaur, just because that was my first. Admittedly there are stronger starters, and cooler ones, but I have a soft spot for Bulbasaur for nostalgia's sake.

I usually don't have a favourite starter in any of the Pokemon Generations; but for B/W it's forced an exception. However, if I had to choose for each generation it'd be as follows:

Kanto: Bulbasaur.
Johto: Cyndaquil.
Heonn: Treecko.
Sinnoh: Chimchar.
Isshu/Unova: Pokabu.

Kanto: Charmander (because Charizard is epic and has a good movepool), Squirtle (because it's a Water type)

Johto: Totodile (same reason as Squirtle)

Hoenn: All of them

Sinnoh: All of them

Unova: Oshawott (Daikenki is appealing in terms of design; part of its armor is a sword)

All time favorite starter pokemon would be Charmander. Even if I had to go through every single generation with a Charmander, I'd be pretty content. It's just so nostalgic.

I love Mudkip, probably my all time favorite, though Cyndaquil has a special place in my heart for being my first ever Pokemon. c:

But Swampert is more of a beast than Typhlosion.

I always have to start out by going by each generation so here it is...

Kanto: Bulbasaur

Hoenn: Torchic
Sinnoh: Piplup
Unova: Oshawott

I try to base my overall favorite on the starter that I had the least complaints about at every stage. Even though Blaziken ended up being a goddess to me I never cared for Combusken. So I'm going to have to go with Bulbasaur. I love all it's stages and I've never had a problem using it. Ivysaur especially is one of my all time favorite stages of all the starters.

For the record I can't believe how much my opinion has changed on the starters since last answering this question. :o
