Like 22sa said, the SOSS Brigade saw her as some emotionless killer. Pretty brutal, before development.

But seriously. Kanade only retaliated. To my knowledge, she only activated the Guard Skills when fired upon. And the SOSS Brigade knew that. Haruhi Yurippe even says that Kanade only comes after them if they're doing something wrong. And Kanade even went through the trouble of organizing an NPC baseball team (Which was, after all, totally awesome), rather than openly massacring.

Naoi, on the other hand, beats the crap out of people, and shot the SOSS Brigade members in the head. Repeatedly. FOR KICKS.

I dunno. I like Kanade, that's why the unfair shake she gets angers me to no end.

Also, yes, Naoi is a Nazi. Think about it. And his name is just one letter off.

I'm still in the middle of the series (I absolutely refuse to watch more than one episode a day, so if I miss a day, too damn bad. Hence the reason it's taking so long), so I'm in some Kanako-damned Naoi arc. D: Personally, the entire SSS Brigade (Yes, I will call it that no matter what) should line up and take turns giving Kanade hugs.

Yes... That'd be an awesome episode. An episode where everyone hugs Kanade, and ignores Naoi.

HAHAHAH.

Ah yeah, I forgot that he 'killed' them all. Never thought much of him beating up the students, though, because they were NPCs anyway. -shot- But I went into the series finding his character neat, so I was probably biased from the start, and looked past the whole "He just killed the entire main cast" thing. >__>

As for watching one episode a day.. pretty sure I did the same thing. I wanted it to last. ; ;
 
I watched the first 7 episodes over the course of 3 days and an episode a week afterward. Because I actually sat through this while it was airing. Same with my rewatch: an episode a week. :V

Oh, and I didn't mention that I wanted to be a member yet, did I? Not that it really matters anyway.
