But the thing is, the series hasn't started yet and with the trailers you can just tell Iris has something for Ash. This is gonna be a heckloada fun.
 
I agree with you, there's one scene in the previews that shows Iris getting closer to Ash. Also looks like Iris is trying to cheer Ash up, I bet its after his loss to Shooti.

That's an interesting idea. What if Iris is the new Misty? What if Iris behaves the same way Misty does? If so, why would she behave like Misty? Does that mean the writers still find Misty appealing despite the fact her VA is on a tour and can't return? Do they just want Iris to gain the popularity of the old fans who supported pokeshipping? Do they want Ash to be reminded of his old friend? Do the writers want us to see how things would be different if Misty were to ever come back? Why would they make Iris act like Misty if they did?

Yes, it looks like they might have an interesting friendship like Misty and Ash used to have.

Umm... no >__> Why are Pokeshippers trying to find a miserable explanation to a failed cause? It's like trying to find evidence that dinosaurs still exist because all you can think about are dinosaurs. Dude, one of god's freakin space rocks killed all of them off!
 
Actually, it's argued that birds are descended from theropod dinosaurs. So not gone completely, still there...in a form. Which is rather oddly the sort of thing SweetSmoochem was saying o.O

I'm just like that. I based my shippingness based on their trailer interactions, I based my Iris fanboyisity based on just the BETA art, but that's another story~. I am actually in favor of all shippings except Pokeshipping. If I had gotten around to the internet a tad earlier, I might have had Pokeshipping in mind as well, but because ALL 10 year olds on the internet need to fight about something, I chose to side Advanceshipping in the Poke-Advance bloodshed many years ago. Because of my childish reasoning that the girl being older than the guy doesn't seem cool. Ironically and hypocritically, my first girlfriend surpassed me by 7 months....

Then I just grew up that way. MultiAshShipper - Pokeshipping = AK47. My life's been a bundle of contradictions... and madness.

Eventually I'll feel Advanceshipping will join Pokeshipping in the Dinosaur Club, so don't fret~
 
I'm sorry. I was just trying to prove a point. I panicked. I'm sorry if I came off as an arrogant critical prick. :[ If you heard me say it instead of typing it, it would have sounded nicer. I thought your comment made Pokeshipping seem as if it was a waste to support it. There are so many Pokeshippers who still love this ship despite whether or not Misty will come back. You're idea isn't bad at all. I asked because I was curious to know why you go from ship to ship before knowing about the characters. (It's similar to my friend in fourth grade who said Pokemon the First Movie is her favorite movie even though she hasn't seen it yet.) I thought it would have been better if a person found out about the characters first and their interactions, and then choosing the ship they like most, or they could multiship. I don't think your idea was bad at all. My intention wasn't to make you or anyone else feel bad. I'm not a mean person. I was trying to help by showing how others viewed the ship. You wanted to know why Pokeshippers still support Pokeshipping, and I gave you the answer. My intention wasn't to be critical. I was trying to give a suggestion. I'm sorry if I upset you or anyone else. :C I need to work on showing emotion better on the computer.

In other news, if you remember that picture I technosketched over of Dawn about to eat up Ash... well, 4Chan somehow managed to give an output of too much Dawn x Cynthia o_0' it looks popular like freakin popcorn.
 
I'm sure Dawn x Cynthia was always popular, it looks cute and as long as the picture is just cute then, er, I suppose it's OKish. Although still questionable...o_O

I guess it's because people think of him to be Bakura? I saw a lot of jokes relating to that.
 
Oooh, I hadn't heard anything about N being like Bakura o.O But that may explain why I like him so much XD They both have the feminine manliness about them which makes them seem too manly to be paired with girls. And then there's his gold rubex cube which reminds me of Yugioh. If anyone finds a (good) N/Bakura crossover pic, you must show me XD
