Alright. Here are the latest pearlshipping hints. Once again, the credits for the found hints belong to PK0082 from the serebiiforums, a devoted pearlshipper.

It really was a good episode.

Gym battle was entertaining, but it really was nice to see Hikari fully supporting Satoshi. Worried when he is in trouble, and cheering when he is doing good. I am really glad that we got episode like this right before DP 180.

Hikari said, "Satoshi, don't give up!!"

I couldn't get the screenshot, but when Goukazaru activated Blaze, Hikari remembered past times when Satoshi was hurt by the monkey, and she begged Goukazaru to stop.

Now about the next episode.
It's still unknown for Satoshi didn't say a darn thing in the preview.
Only Hikari and Kengo's conversation was played (part where he says his "travel with me if I beat Satoshi").

Is she and PikaPocha happy because Satoshi is doing well? I sure hope so...

That would be all. We shall get some new hints on next Thursday, so I'll be here to update.

She IS watching the battle because the battle between Ash and Kenny is one on one and it is confirmed to be Buizel VS Empoleon by the preview.

I think that Dawn being sad scene in the preview is just maybe in the middle of the battle. Cuz in battles some times some people get an upper hand and in the end Ash could win. I really liked the ending with Dawn smiling at Ash after the gym win that was cute :)
UGH I can't wait for next weeks episode. Will end this between Pearlshipping and Penguineshipping once and for all ><

The writers originally intended for this to be the ending of the series. This was supposed to be in the first Pokemon movie that would have been the last. Misty is shown as an adult with a daughter who appears to also be Ash's. There is a Pikachu with them. (Most likely it belongs to Ash.) They intended to make Pokeshipping canon. But, now they replace each girl when a new gen game comes out. It is still possible that Pokeshipping can become canon, seeing as how the girls are likely to get replaced each gen. Also, May has Drew as an admirer and Dawn has Kenny. The fifth gen girl is older than Ash, so only if he's the same age, things can happen between them. (I don't think they'd pair a ten year old with someone who appears to be in her mid-teens.) Why else is Ash still "oblivious" to love? Are they saving him for Misty? He seemed pretty jealous when guys were flirting with her or when she was giving attention to another guy. He hasn't shown jealousy towards Drew or Kenny at all. He was jealous of Danny and Rudy.

In the DP series, Brock said when a boy teases a girl, it's a sign the boy likes the girl. Ash teased Misty plenty of times. He doesn't tease Dawn. If anything he insults her, but not in a teasing manner. (But that doesn't mean there aren't any pearlshipping hints. There's still a possibility it could happen.)

The lure still provides hope for Pokeshippers. Sure, Misty hasn't been mentioned since the lure, but Gary was missing from Hoenn and he came back a couple of times in Sinnoh. Look at Jessalina. She had an absence longer than Misty and she came back not too long ago. Misty was on the High Touch opening, and she was on the Queen of Hearts Card with Ash's mother in the Japanese opening for Battle Frontier. (Perhaps symbolizing the two most important women in Ash's life?) If Gary can come back after an absence from a saga, Misty can come back, too. Maybe in a cameo?

This season, Ash had shipping hints with Angie, a tomboy. In BF, he had hints with Anabel. They seem to like the idea of pairing Ash with a girl that's a tomboy. Misty is a tomboy. I don't really think Angie is going to return anymore. I'd be surprised if she did, but to me, she's not exactly memorable. No offense to anyone. I also doubt the return of Anabel, but since the last frontier brain Ash battled came back, there is a chance for her, too.

I'm still going to give Pokeshipping a chance just like I give the other Ash ships. You never know what the future holds.

I won't deny those hints, they are real. And so were the hints for AdvanceShipping and so are the hints for PearlShipping.

But the reason many say it is dub-made is because it is true. Remember 'Gotta Catch Ya Later'?' episode, of course you do. It is a favorite episode of every pokeshipper but only in dub. In the original Japanese episode Misty reflects on her journey and her growth as a trainer, while in the dubbed episode flashbacks were changed (guess why?) to only include Misty and Ash who was almost in every scene.

One more reason is the song which dubbers made and it is sang by Misty. Why is it dub-made? It doesn't exist in original and therefore doesn't count.

Those mentioned hints are both one-sided since Ash was oblivious to the both girls.

And now to defend PearlShipping, here are the lyrics of the Japanese song 'High Touch' which was also used for the opening of the anime. Ash and Dawn are singing this song as a duo. Some parts are sang by Ash and some by Dawn.

Why would the japanese writers themselves decided to create such a song sang both by Ash and Dawn, unless there is a deeper meaning.

Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate it. I don't watch the Japanese episodes, so it was somewhat difficult for me to imagine Ash with Dawn. The reason why I couldn't see them together was mainly because of the dub actors. With the Dub voice acting, it didn't seem like they were interested in each other in that way. It just seemed like a friends only thing. (The voices ruined it for me.) I've seen every episode of DP that was aired in the dub so far. I'll make a point to view some of the Japanese episodes in order to decide whether or not I like this ship, and pay attention to how the actors say their lines. (I have to make a point to view them when my labtop isn't on low battery.) Thank you for explaining your reasoning in a respectful manner. =)

Edit: I saw a clip of a Japanese episode, and view some fanart with Ash X Dawn, I don't think I can like Pearlshipping. Ash and Dawn look like they could pass for brother and sister. It just weirds me out. No offense to any pearlshippers out there. Thanks for trying. Pearlshipping is okay, but I can't help but prefer Pokeshipping over pearlshipping. I think if you saw my hair color, you'd see why I prefer Misty over Dawn. I must side with a fellow red head.)
