What are some anime series that you miss the most because they've either been cancelled or have finished?

Yugioh GX has got to the anime I miss the most. I'd watch it religiously as a kid. If it ever made a return (which I highly doubt) I'd be over the moon!

    How about you? Discuss!

FMAB. Cuz it was SOO good. And Yu Yu Hakusho. This one should be reanimated tbh. Such a golden shounen anime. I miss Gurren Lagann too. That **** was over the top and epic as hell. Though I'm getting my fix on those fronts via Kill la Kill these days so its all good.

    I'll probably die of sadness the day One Piece concludes, though. It has been almost 15-16 years since it started. I've been following it for 8 years now. And it will probably go on for 10-15 more years. But seriously, can a heart take that much? Seeing your fave series which you've followed for a significant amount of time out of your entire life end? I'd die, I think. ;_____;

Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop and pretty much anything that was on Adult Swim back in the day.

I would've said Death Note too if it weren't for the fact that it dropped the ball after ep 25 and I thought it needed to end asap. I really, really liked it. But those last few episodes were not up to the standards of the rest.

Agreed, I never finished watching the entire series. I tapped out a few episodes after 25. It was still one of the most unique and suspenseful anime to watch the first time through though.

Digimon, more so the quality of it. It has really degraded since the power ranger people got it.

I really miss Trigun, off the top of my head. I enjoyed watching that on Adult Swim when I was younger and trying to fall asleep. I couldn't appreciate it as much back then (and should rewatch it now!) but it was still a pretty great anime. I can't think of any anime that were cut short/canceled that I miss, though... I thought Magi was going to be canceled at first (it wasn't, was it?) so that depressed me for awhile, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't... right? :D

Magi has a second ongoing season iirc. So that's that.

@introvert - stopping at 25 is the right choice. I watched it all, though. Last 12 were disappointing to say the least. Heard the mangaka wanted it to end at the point in story when that event happened at ep 25. But since it was so popular, the publisher pushed them.

I miss Fairy Tail, they stopped it at the wrong time and it could be a few more months until we see the new voice actor for Lucy since her voice actor got fired over her scandal. She may have been banned from voice acting overall I can't remember.

Sakura-sō no Pet na Kanojo (さくら荘のペットな彼女) I want it baaack D:
Maybe a new season would be great. That anime really made me cry!

Nah, Aya got some roles this season, non important, though. So... she's not banned, fired, or anything. She just doesn't have agency iirc which makes it more difficult for her to find more important roles.
I believe she will get Lucy once anime starts again =)
It's not like anime industry to change seiyuus connected with characters unless the seiyuu passes away (and even that may or may not force it. It happened with Kenichi the Strongest Disciple where Miu's seiyuu needed to be replaced due to her death. On the other hand, Igor from Persona series still uses voice samples from his late seiyuu.)

Anyways, now on topic =D I do miss Death Note... I believe Nio arc was a complete crap and would have loved if the Death Note continued instead of ending like that...

Probably Kyoukai no Kanata. Sure, I just finished it, but I'm still going to miss it. If Kyoto Animation doesn't give us a 2nd season, I swear that they will all die a fiery, painful death! (Not really, I was just kidding. No one's going to die. I hope...)

I want to say Duel Masters back from the early-mid 2000s on CN was something I definitely missed. Hard to think of many others right now sadly.

I don't think we need to worry about that =) We're getting Chuu2Koi 2 this season, Tamako Market 2 soon so maybe in Fall 2014/Winter 2015 we'll get more Kuriyama-san.

I really miss Fairy Tail and Shingeki no Kyojin animes, especially Fairy Tail. Yeah, the manga of each is still publishing (once a month for SNK though o.e) but manga & anime are really two vastly different experiences. For me, I prefer anime to manga because I think you can get so much more from having sound and movement in addition to visuals. I know Fairy Tail is 100% returning soon, so I'm excited <3

I also miss K-On, I wish they would continue to animate it ;; I think that's it, really, for actual series. I miss the experience of watching a lot of things, though. I wish I could watch FMA / Toradora for the first time all over again, along with SAO and Magi.

FT is returning, Eotenas probably as well 'cause the whole cast stated the wish to continue.
There's just wait before Isayama writes/draws something that can be put to anime... 'cause in new chapters have literally nothing of importance...
And also more chapters so the second season can also be 2 season anime.
Since first season ended in chapter 34 there should be another 40 chapters before anime can be considered.

SKET Dance, cos I believe there's enough content for a second season and the manga just ended. I also miss Kokoro Connect, but I don't think there will be another season, due to that scandal.

I honestly don't think there's gonna be another season of K-On, simply because the girls all graduated already (except azunyan of course), but fingers crossed.

I already miss Shingeki no Kyojin and I only finished watching the first season about two days ago, it's such a brilliant anime and I really wish they'd hurry up with the second season.
I've been meaning to catch up on Fairy Tale and now since I know it's coming back, I can get on that haha

Does anyone know if they're doing another DBZ anime series? I know they did battle of the gods (Which was subpar) but I'd like to see a return to that world
I'm also desperate for someone to make a jhoto version of Pokemon origin
