Anyone Learned a New Language During Quarantine?

I'm just learning how to do ASL and 1/3 of Japanese (Hiragana). I wanted to see if anyone else was learning a new language as this can increase your IQ.

Nope, I tried briefly but couldn't keep up with it since I had other hobbies distracting me haha, but the attempt was made at least! Good on you for doing this and please do keep at it, will be so worth it ❤️

I'm improving my Catalan and learning German, but still at the earlier stages of it!

I'm slowly learning Japanese.

Sometimes, I do a lot of anime watching without subs and I'm starting to understand!

I'm too focused on other things. I frequently think about picking up sign language or something, but I just never really get around to it. I suck at learning languages other than English too which does not improve my motivation lol. One day maybe.

The only other language I learned besides English is French, but very basic at that. Just what I remember from a class in high school, and that was pretty much self taught. The teacher had us go on a website and learn from that, and it was the entire class every day.

I've been trying to teach myself Spanish and might teach myself ASL (American Sign Language).
