Hooray for seeing a fellow TCG player! I'm more of a collector, but someday I'd love to learn how the strategy game works and all. If you are looking for players, or you want to discuss the game, or the cards in general, then you should visit our very own TCG section we have here. Our own mod donavannj is an expert in the metagame, so if you have any questions, you can ask him, or any other regular in that section.
I played LeafGreen instead of FireRed, all because I wanted Vulpix instead of Growlithe. I've also yet to play my X yet because you know.. life. xD However, with the game you have now, you have the option to add new peeps into your 3DS so you can visit their friend safaris, battle, or trade! It brings you much closer to others here in the community. You'll definitely want to stick around ;3
Anyways, have fun here, yes? I hope to see you around, and feel free to ask questions to any staff member in bold. :)

You and me both! n~~n I'm a very dedicated fan myself, been into it since the first generation with Red and Blue. Can't believe how fast time has been flying... :( Big welcome to the forum, Bobbuffet!

Gen 3 was amazing, and I'm glad that you've started out with the Gen 3 pokemon games! I can remember getting pokemon LeafGreen for Christmas, and I loved playing it ever since that day! I also played a lot of Pokemon Emerald with my friends from Grade 8.
But it's great to meet you! Always awesome to have a dedicated fan here! Feel free to visit boards like the Pokemon Trading Card board, where you can discuss the trading card game with fellow members, and there is also the battle corner for battle discussion! Maybe take a spin at our battle server too! We're itchin' to do some battling over there as well!
At any rate, it was great getting to know you, and I hope you'll enjoy yourself during your stay on PC! It'll be great if I got to chat with you again real soon, and I do hope to see you around the forums! c:
