Apply to be a mod!?

Why would you become a mod? If I were able to become a moderator, I would because I feel I have the qualities that a moderator needs. I also believe I can serve as a good moderator, and would benefit the staff team and community very well. You don't have to be a moderator to help the community though. You can support by donating money.

If so, why/why not? I believe the community shouldn't see, because the non-staff and supporters wouldnt know the qualities. I believe the staff should decide.

Which forum would you moderate? If I xould moderate any forum, I would moderate OC, because it seems there is only one mod there, and he could use some help. Also, I am active a lot there, and would always be there.

Application? I would be laid-back and friendly, as well as proffesional. I wouldn't muck around all the time, but I would still be very kind and respectful towards other members.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator? If so, why?
Back when I was a member and if OVP was free, sure! Why not? There's nothing to lose, and it might make me a mod. I've always been interested in modding. :)
As a mod with OVP, probably not.

What forum would you like to moderate?
OVP. Only forum I'd apply for tbh. Mostly because I'm a shy little thing and need to post more in other places. I don't want to apply for a forum I don't even post in, that seems silly.

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
I'd probably spend hours making it look super professional. Although I guess it also depends on how we're applying... if the format itself seems laid back I might not be so picky about it. :p

I'd have to create a secret alt account for general trolling and worthless posts in that case, it'd be no fun.

Otherwise rev up those applications, because I am sure hungry for one Pixel Art moderator.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?
I wouldn't.

If so, why?

What forum would you like to moderate?
Video Games

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
I wouldn't fill it out.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?
Only to specify which forum I'd prefer if I ever were to be suggested to become a moderator and I might as well strike the iron while it's hot.
If so, why?:
For the reasons stated above.
What forum would you like to moderate?
GPGD, all the way.
How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
I'd probably end up filling my app out to be as professional, serious, and manly as I possibly could, but I might sprinkle in a bit
of cheerfulness and humor to let the Hstaff know that I can be down to earth.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?Nope.

If no, why not? Bad experience moderating at another forum, where an administrator trash talked me behind my back because I "wasn't doing my job" - even though there wasn't anything to moderate on that site anyway:/

What forum would you like to moderate?Other Trivia or Japanese Entertainment.

How would you go about filling the application? Professional, definitely.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?
Probably not. I'm a member of some forums that did this, and needless to say, not interested.

If so, why?
To help the community?

If not, why not?
Hehe, I don't think I'm capable and I'm pretty sure people know that too.

What forum would you like to moderate?
It's either OVP, or Japanese Entertainment.

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
Erm, I'm a serious guy, so professional. I mean, if you go to an interview with a laid back and friendly style.. I know you wont get the job.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?
I would do two things:
1. Not apply because I'm lazy
2. Apply but be totally pessimistic about it and continuously tell myself that I won't become one.

If so, why? If not, why not?
If I don't apply, it's because well... most likely because I was too lazy to. But if I did apply, it would be because I would want to benefit a little more to the community. Er... yeah. *bad at these types of things*

What forum would you like to moderate?
If I wasn't already a Moderator, it would be Pokemon Trivia/Other Trivia (who could have seen that one coming). If it were to happen right now though, I don't think I would apply for anything; I'm happy with the two sections I have now, and I don't really post in any other section enough to apply for a Moderator position.

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
I would make it professionally friendly!

I would for sure and the first thing I'd do is perma ban sglide.

Oh sorry sorry my bad. Inside joke with someone.

Anyway I wouldn't apply.

I would do it and I would try to be a OVP mod. I would fill it out friendly and laid back.

Would you apply to be a moderator?
Yeah I probably would.

What forum would you like to moderate?
Graphics and Photography. There is never love for Graphics and Photography. :P

If so, why?
Because I'm here so much and enjoy being here, I think I'd like to give something back. Also, I think that with the current tumble weed state of Graphics and Photography, I think new ideas and new approaches might help to pull it back to safety.

Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
Being the OCD, Perfectionist freak I am when it comes to literature or writing or things of this nature, it would most likely consume ridiculous amounts of my time to make it super professional and neat and everything. Then again, as Sammi said, if the application format was pretty laidback and stuff, I'd probably loosen up a bit.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?
No. I've been a moderator on a couple of forums before, it's more trouble than it's worth.

What forum would you like to moderate?
Probably the Colour and Metal gen forum, mainly because it's the only forum outside of this place and the off-topic chat I have any interest in.

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
I wouldn't fill it in at all. But if I was applying for a position i'd be professional.

Would you apply to become a moderator?: Yes, I would.
If so, why?: It's because I want to see what it would like to be a form of authority on a site.
What forum would you like to moderate?: Black and White, Pokemon General
How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?:
I'd make it laid back and friendly and pray to get accepted.

I would like to be a moderator, but I don't think I would turn out to be a very good one.

Yes, I would like to be one. If I was, I would moderate the new users/welcome forum or the writing forum because I posted there a lot.

I would like to be a moderator because I think it would be fun, and have a lot of fun responsibilites and I would like to see what it's like.

Oh and I would fill out the sheet real slow like and professional.

Would you apply to become a moderator?
Sure, why not? If it doesn't seem like too much effort, of course.

If so, why?
Because it's there, low-effort, and I like this community.

What forum would you like to moderate?
Preferably, TCG. I have no real preference after that, as long as it's not a section I'd have to learn a lot about to be effective.

How would you go about filling the application?
In a professional manner.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?

Well, who wouldn't?

If so, why?

It would give me an excuse to get on here. It would make me feel more of a member of the community seeing as I have a role.

If not, why not?

It would suck up all of my spare time.

What forum would you like to moderate?

Super Moderator? I just can't choose one!

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?

I would be all serious and make mine show how awesome I am.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?
I'd try, I guess. But there would probably be a post limit, maybe having over 1000 posts to be legible to apply. I wouldn't be able to as I won't get to that for a long time.

If so, why?
I would like to help out and feel like I'm important. I prefer not to just fit in with the crowd, I like to be my own, individual person.

If not, why not?
Probably because I'm a member of too many forums.

What forum would you like to moderate?

I mainly post in Other Chat and Video Gaming, so one of them two.

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
Professional, with a lot of friendliness in there too.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would, for experience of moderating a forum. Why not?

What forum would you like to moderate?
OVP or OC, since those are really the only two forums I'm ever incredibly active in. For someone on a Pokémon forum, I sure love to partake in the non-Poké discussion, haha.

How would you go about filling the application?
Oh god... I don't know. XD I think I would probably be totally laid-back since being professional's not really my thing. I would definitely take the application seriously and put a lot of thought into it, but I don't think I would make it super serious and professional.

If PC had applications to be a moderator again that had to be posted in public, would you apply to become a moderator?

Yes and no.

If so, why?
If not, why not?
Well firstly i'm sure it would be a really good and fun experience. Who wouldn't anyway?
A reason I wouldn't apply is because I don't really think it would be a very good way to pick moderators at all, just a few paragraphs why you would be good for the job doesn't really work well, the system taking place right now is much better, they can get picked by how they already behave around the forums, help people, etc...

What forum would you like to moderate?

It would have to be the "Pokémon Anime Section" I already have great knowledge of the anime. And I would help out like I already do anyway. It's practically one of only sections i'm very active in.

How would you go about filling the application? Make it professional, make it laid back and friendly?
Well I would be very calm, nice and helpful (Pretty much how I already am). Sort out problems when necessary. And pretty much like you already mentioned; Laid back and friendly - but of course fun.

Humorously, PC's use of open moderator interviews was how I got the job way back in '03. I may also be part of the reason why they don't use them anymore. XD

Honestly, I'd like to mod PC again one day because I like helping newbies and that was my favorite part of doing it in the old days, but I'd much rather earn it on my own merits since my PC reboot rather than my previous status as one. I'd prefer to be stuck in Pokemon General of General Pokemon Gaming. XD
