Are you an anime fan? If so, why? What Anime do you enjoy the most? Do you think they're better than the non-anime cartoons that are usually aired in the US? Explain.

Yes, I'm an anime fan. I've watched quite a few animes over the past few months and I have to say I've enjoyed all of them immensely. I've always enjoyed anime more because it usually has a very real, and usually down to earth element in the storyline somewhere. I find some anime to be on par with some of the classic cartoons such as Looney Toons and stuff, simply because most of it is fairly good.

What are your opinions on Anime? Does your current 'digital life' revolve around it? How do you get your periodic fix of anime if you are 'addicted' to it? So many questions to answer, so little time.~

    Anime > All.

I'm not an anime fan, mind you. I'm an animanga dork. <33 I pretty much live and breathe anime. You should see my wall and my anime movie collection. You'd be surprised by how obsessed I am. :D

Of course, I don't have an updated version of my wall because its too large to take a picture of. XD

The anime I've come to adore are Haruhi Suzumiya, Chobits, Bleach, Code Geass, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Inuyasha, Lucky Star....*goes on forever as everyone starts to fall asleep*...and Gundam SEED/Destiny.

I usually spend alot of time buying DVDs since you can usually get uncut versions of the anime. I prefore dubbed version because of my disability. I find easier to work out the intentions of the anime by hearing it, rather than reading subtitles. However, if I have to I will watch a subbed anime. If I do watch anime, it's either on the Sci-Fi channel or Adult Swim. Other times I try to check for dubbed versions on Youtube.

Though, other than watching anime, I do enjoy things like Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, Pokemon (First season & Diamond and Pearl), and other things I can't think of. I also watch alot of older cartoons like Flinstones, Scooby and Jetsons on the Boomerang channel. :3

Not what I'd call a fan, but I like to watch it, more so than other forms of televised entertainment.
What Anime do you enjoy the most?
Assuming you mean genre/demographic-wise, I most like those that bear much blood and definitely like it when they have deranged characters causing this blood to appear; anime like Elfen Lied and Higurashi.
Oh and nothing had better be over 30 episodes, otherwise I'd lose interest.
Do you think they're better than the non-anime cartoons that are usually aired in the US? Explain.
Well that'd be UK instead for me, but either way we get the same as the US has... so yeah: anything animated that's here is for the younger generations, so generally not for me and thus yes anime is better because it's diverse and comfortably fills every genre you can name.
What are your opinions on Anime?
    It's animooted and Wapaneez.
In all seriousness though, the ever so common breast jokes/grabbing is really... stupid. That's about my only complaint about anime though, the rest of my opinion would be like pouring rainbow-coloured water from a golden bucket so I may as well not bother.

Nu. The digital side of my life revolves around gaming if anything.

I am an anime fan, but most likely more of a manga one. My favourites are D.Gray-man and Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Also, since I live in Australia, I do think anime are better than the nons, because anime have better storylines and characters with their own unique personality and history(Not all, but most).

Yep, I am an anime fan. And still am, even though I haven't been watching a lot of them lately. I have a whole shelf filled with DVDs and stuff. I also have plushies of my favorite anime characters from my favorite anime. Well so far Pokemon, Bleach, and Naruto...lol. And I used to download a lot of anime, but as of right now I don't do that anymore. Not that much...
Still watch anime on tv though. The only channels I watch that has anime is Cartoon Network and Sci-Fi.
I think now I need to get back and buy anime DVDs. Because since I don't download that much, and they don't show a lot of anime anymore on tv. I might need to do that again. But I will always be a fan. Just not a huge one like I was 10 years ago.

That is the one thing I agree about! They are totally better than the cartoons in the US. Well the cartoons we got now in US. Anime hands down is superior. They have awesome storylines and the art is amazing. <3

Yes because I love the stories and the art. (and the hot bishies xD)

I absolutely love Anime! The first Anime I ever watched was Dragonball Z on Toonami. Compared to American cartoons, Anime is superior in every, same as Erikavolt said, better story line and better detail in drawings. Some Anime I occasionally/used to watch are Death Note, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, Code Gease, and Zatch Bell and a few others. But right now, I watch One Piece most of the time.

Anime is awsome. My favorite is Bleach because of the storyline and all the fighting. Anime is at least a hundred times better non-anime cartoons because it has a storyline and most as violence.

Anime is awesome. One I started watching it North American cartoons started to seem even more boring than they already did. Sometimes I turn on the TV and see something like Family Guy, The Simpsons, or Spongebob Squarepants...and it all sucks. They always sucked in my opinion, but even moreso now that I'm hooked on shows like Mermaid Melody, One Piece, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

    Love, love, LOVE Anime. :]

    I absolutely ADORE InuYasha.
It's got tons of action, and the love story has led me to tears from time to time.

    Also, I love Fullmetal Alchemist.
Though the ending to the entire story really made me mad.

Generally if you throw an Anime at me I find at least one thing to like about it.
They always have such good stories behind them and whatnot.
And the animation is gorgeous. :]
