how can i get my pictures to have transparent backgrounds. not sure if this is where this post belongs but help would be very much apreciated

You need a to have Programs like Animation shop or Photoshop.

There is no post count limit for posting a piece of artwork in the Art Gallery, as far as I know...

If you need a transparency thingy, MS Paint has it. Not too sure if Gimp has it or not.

What are you talking about? Paint doesn't have a transparency feature.

i think he means that you can overlap pictures without the white showing behind it, ive used it loads of times even though thats not what i ment

No, I am not really sure about Gimp anyway you need photoshop 7.0 for Transparency.

Transparency does work in GIMP. I used it for about half a year before I finally bought Photoshop.

sorry if this is the wrong section or it's already made but how do I upload hand drawn pictures to the computer? Do I have to take a picture and upload that? Or do I do something with my printer/copier?

You need a scanner or a camra, but I scanner is better. On Paint press on file and scroll down untill you find:

Scan from scanner or camra.

The head of the scanner will open and you flip your picture over and put it there. Close the head and then do the thing I told you on Paint.

Anyways, I tried scanning but it still didn't work. Can anyone here please just make me a picture on the comp? I posted what I wanted in the request thread, but no one really looks at that.
