Yes I do but when I load the picture onto paint, it just appears white with a black line going down the middle. Camera isn't very good though, I don't like it. It looks too messy.

Sorry then I don't what and how that happens. Sorry I don't know much now.

mybe if you tried another proram other than paint, like Gimp or Photoshop.

Making Animations.

I see alot of trainer cards, and stamps that are animated. Whats a good easy program.. FREE that I could use to animate gifs.jpegs, so on?

I have a decent claim into graphical arts, but been outta the loop on programs, I tried using GiMP, but it sucks something hardcore.

Help always appreciated, thank you kindly, Vizforte. ^^

Clarification.

OK, to clarify, I wish to make my trainer cards Animated. What is a good program I can download for free that could help me do this?

This does not belong in this forum. I am merging it with Art Discussion, which is where you can ask general questions about programs and their capabilities. Please read the forum categories carefully before posting a new thread.

Seems like abit of a slighted decision, but oh well... I do check forums, saw that this one didn't really have to do with my question. But your moderator, your sposed to know better.

SO yeah, anyone know a decent free program I can use to animate trainer cards?

hey noob question but were do you get the program to draw all this stuff besides photo shop and adobe

Maybe n00b question, just don't expect a reply, beyond this one. Im looking for a program as well.. sorry. ; ;

Photoshop is Adobe. Adobe Photoshop.

GIMP is free to download. I use open Canvas (oC), and you can try out a free 30-day trial here at their website: www.portalgraphics.net/en. After that, you're going to need to purchase it, but you can still use the program. You just can't save and some features will be deactivated. At least that's what I think you're talking about; other programs besides Photoshop. You can check out www.corel.com as they have other products available to try.

There is Microsoft GIF Animator, which you can download for free. Others are Ulead GIF Animator 5 and Jasc Animation Shop, but have a trial period, which I believe is for 30-days. You will have to create an account before downloading either Ulead or Jasc, which are pretty much partners now.

Well, I'm pretty sure this is the right place to post this question.

I was looking at getting Photoshop, then I saw the price. I asked my parents in the nicest way possible if I could get it. They said "No way" so I looked around and found Photshop elements 5.0. The question is, if I got this, would I be able to make basic signature banners? And can you draw with it. I want to create my own anime character, but I'm not sure if elements gives you this ability.

Elements is really good. :) I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 for all my non-oekaki drawings. It has most of the features of the full version of PS, and I really recommend it if you're not going to be doing anything super-complex.

So it's like saving 500+ dollars and getting just about as much? XD Thanks for the help FG.

well, i don't use photoshop. I use Gimp, its ver easy to use, in my opinion it is as good as photoshop, and its free too^^.

I use PhotoImpact 5. It came with my tablet, so it was free :D

It's similar to photoshop, except not as potent.

Super Edit: Is there a better way to watermark images than to have ugly text all over the picture? I was thinking of using a pen tool set to white with a little bit of blur, and then signing my name on the picture itself in an un-obtrusive place. People could edit it out with a little time and patience, but would it at least discourage most stealers?

Or better yet, is there a site that only allows the uploader to post links to their content?

I use paint.net. It's free, and I think it's a really great program, it's really simple to use if you've tried photoshop before. GIMP, at least in my opinion, would require more in regards to learning, especially if you're used to photoshop. The only downside to paint.net is that it lacks a smudge/blur tool, (for now, I've read that they plan to include it in later releases) which I heard the GIMP has (correct me if I'm wrong...). You can also create all sorts of plug-ins for Paint.net, and you can download them from their site.

Anyways, I want to know how many people use graphics tablets, and which one? I'm a poor college student who is looking for a graphics tablet for under $200, and I could really use some help and suggestions. :)
