artificial RED | Complete 721 Pok?mon rombase | Update 12/08/16 | Version 1.1

Aww, it say's updates will not be posted after 12/08/16 :(

I think I speak for most Pokemaniacs out there, this seriously has to be made into it's own game. It will be so awesome to have all 721 Pokemon in a game of high quality (not like those with improper grammar and bad tiles). Judging from how well you accomplished this feat, making a game would be the next BESTEST thing. I really hope you guys undertake this endeavour :)
 
I patched it I didn't see anything besides sacred fire in movesets

EDIT: Beheeyem has moves it ain't supposed to have and what is "COIL PUMP" Gen V pokemon like Beheeyem are messed up
 
Hey, i have been trying to edit a few things like changing evolution levels etc.. i used D&D with the ini's you provided but when i go on game and evolve the pokemons i get a ?? and the pokemon doesnt evolve. Can someone help me with this?? I have tested only some gen 1 evos like charmander and charmeleon etc.. and those are fine.

Please help me out.

This sounds like the byte to allow cross-generational evolutions hasn't been edited. I forget what the byte was, but I do know that a hex edit on that byte alone stops the game from preventing cross-generational evolutions (e.g. Golbat -> Crobat).
 
I dont think its only from a generation to another, i tried evolving a fennekin but it didnt work either, thanks anyway on the advice but i personaly dont know anything about hex editing so if anyone can just find a copy paste kind of fix for this ahahah because im kind of a begginer in rom hacking.

Er...I meant non-Kanto evolutions; sorry for the confusion. Again, I forget where I found the fix, but it boiled down to "change the byte at address X from Y to Z," which is straightforward enough that even with a very basic knowledge of hex editing I was able to do it.

You need to use special 0x16F after flag 829 has been set to enable the national Pokédex.
 
I see there's a mega option using D&D but does anyone know where mega stone's are located under? Or do I have to input stone's and bracelet in the game myself?
 
Using PGE trying to edit pokemon and I keep getting an error stating "InvalidArgument=Value of '65535' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex." I'm very new to hacking..am I the only one having this problem? If not, how do I fix it?

I came back from a long break from hacking and I was surprised how advanced ROM hacking got. When I first saw this patch I was like "I have to use it on my hack".

Thanks a lot for making this patch!

One thing, you probably posted it somewhere but I missed it so pardon me, are there some .inis I could use for PGE, G3HS and what not?

ANOTHER EDIT: For some reason, when I try to edit the Pokémon with the Internal Pokémon Editor in PGE, it gives me an error:
Code: 
'Selected Index' of '65535' is invalid for InvalidArgument=Value

The Attacks Editor and Abilities Editor work perfectly though.

I guess that doesn't really matter since the ini for D&D works so whatever just ignore me ,_,

hello im having a problem im using advance starter to try to change the starter to a gen 4 set or gen 5 or 6 set of starters and the new pokemon arent listed in the advance starter starter editing tool?

Configure .ini or hex edit. By they way you guys, if you want evo's etc. for newer gen Pokémon to work, award the national dex at the beginning. There's guides how to do this with scripts.

One other thing, it would be awesome if somebody made a base which integrates the next gen Pokémon into the game for the average user in a cool way. I would do it, but again, I'm too busy at the moment.
 
Are you going to add Day-Night system like some of pokeon are spawning only at evening annd so on??
 
I had some problems with the patch.
I would appreciate it if someone replies.
First of all, this rom is compatible with JPAN hacked engine and Mrdollsteak patch, right?
I have a rom with Mrdollsteak and JPAN installed.
But when I patch it, the game freeze on the starting screen.
Am I doing something wrong?

why does bulbasaur evolve at level 6 along with oshawott at level 4 into dewott then 5 into samurott is this a bug?
 
Patched with the v1.1_1 file, a lot of pokemon's movesets are including the moveset of the pokemon after them (eg: Squirtle has Wartortle's moveset included), some seem to be including up to 4-5 other pokemon's movesets.

And also sacred fire all over the place
