Ash and Krokorok?

    OK, so I've just seen Pokemon Black and White Episode 20 and after seeing the way Ash treated Krokorok i think that Krokorok would be a perfect member on Ash's team, i mean he healed it at the Pokemon center and he protected it quite a lot from the Ducklett by carrying it around and using Pikachu as its Defense, the only problem would be that his Scraggy is already part Dark, just like the Sandile Evolution line, so do any of you guys think Ash will Adopt the Krokorok once he's released one of his Pokemon?
     
    Because Scraggy is part Dark that means he can't have Krokorok? \: Bulbasaur and Chikorita, Oshawott and Palpitoad and more but I don't want to list.

    I think that the Krokorok/Ash thing will be a running thing. Ash will probably end up catching him, but not anytime soon. If Ash doesn't capture to him I can see Krokorok sticking around and randomly popping up.
     
    Out of his rotation of 9 he already has 2 pokemon sets with same typing (Snivy, Swadloon) - Grass (Oshawott, Palpitoad) - Water. This has occurred multiple times in the past as well, so I would never real typing out as a possibility for a capture.

    I thought Ash would capture Krokorok as well, since the episode seemed to be leading up to capture. I figure he will capture him at one point, but when I have no clue.We haven't seen him since BW020 at it's BW043, last episode he was in was Plasma vs. Rocket which isn't aired yet but they showed a clip of him on Livecaster. Also why would he release one of his pokemon to capture Krokorok? He could just rotate it like he has been doing since he had 6+ on his Unova team. And I don't seem him adapting Krokorok, since I think he wants to battle Ash and then be captures like with BW012 and BW020.

    Hmm, ill admit i didn't think about the typing that much XD and i think if ash wouldn't have KO'ed Krokorok then it would have lead to a capture, but the release idea came from previous episodes where he released a Pokemon and then later replaced it, i was wondering whether the producers would play that card again, for example Tepigs trainer coming back to re-claim him or Swadloon doing a Butterfree XD
     
    Yes they could rehash ideas like the Butterfree thing. But they kind of did that with Cottonee even though it wasn't apart of the team it was pretty much a similar scenario. And Tepig trainer coming back to claiming it would be highly unlikely. For one Tepig probably wouldn't want to go back to a trainer that already abandoned it once, Ash probably wouldn't want to relinquish it to a trainer that would do such a thing like with Damion and Paul, and they still probably like the starters to stay with the main cast so they can use them for advertising down the line. There is always the scenario of one of his pokemon being released, given to a trainer to take i.e. Primeape and Gliscor. People talked about a maybe Ash and Trip Tranquill run off together, who knows but I am not seeing it happen.
     
    I think Krokorok will be more like Jigglypuff. e.g. Krokorok is a recurring wild Pokemon that shows up periodically and involves itself with the group.
     
    Ash needs to catch that Krokorok. The fate of the world depends on it. Not really, but I'd still love to see Krokorok on Ash's team. c:
     
    Somehow, I can still see Zuruggu part ways with Ash in a future. And then Krokorok... gosh, I hate the English names when I've gotten used to the Japanese ones... well, then it can become part of his team. Or maybe he'll capture Krokrokoekrowhatever before, and there will be a rivalry between him and Zuruggu and THEN Zuruggu will go.

    Or maybe... Shootie (I don't know what Ash's rival is called in English actually xD) will catch him just because Krokrokrokroksdhlskj likes to battle Ash.
     
    Well since everyone has already given points against I guess I'll just say that I'm hoping Ash will eventually catch Krokorok during a filler series after the Unova league in east Unova, he meet up with it accidentally, it will somehow evolve and he'll decide to catch it. /just sayin'

    I think Scraggy needs a lot more developement before he even thinks about parting ways. So if this does happen like Mew said with Ash catching Krokorok it will probably happen during after Unova league if it does. Shooti English name is Trip.

    Why would Ash need to release any of his Pokemon for? There isn't really a problem with any of Ash's Pokemon. As for Krokorok, I just have a funny feeling that Krokorok is going to keep on following Ash and co. and sooner or later, its going to evolve and Ash is going to ask for a battle from it

    Hmm....I don't know...I don't think Ash is suited for a Krokorok. He already has enough Pokemon if you ask me. :/
    But I wouldn't mind if he did catch it, however.
     
    It bothers me that Ash would have a Dark type pokemon escepecially as one as mean lookig as Krookidle
