Babylon [Night 2]

Okay the night phase has officially started! Send in your Night actions ASAP, if you're abstaining then still PM me letting me know. (Or send me a message on skype, either works. The day phase should be up tomorrow at around 6PM, EST. (And no posting in the thread, of course)

Day 1


A figure, covered from head to toe in a black robe, peered around the corner. Walking towards him was Archy, his eyes locked on the ground. The figure pressed himself against the wall, trying to hid from his sight as Archy passed him. Finally, he made his move. Archy turned his head just in time to see the blade plunge into his throat. His assailant dropped the knife and dashed away, leaving Archy to choke on his own blood.

densinishon gazed upon the most recent victim. Twiggy's body was suspended in chains from the statue in the middle of town. His body no longer looked like anything vaguely resembling a human. Gomorrah had made their point loud and clear: they were not to be trifled with. They meant every threat they had made and would go through with what they said. Several men cleaned the blood from the statue and removed the corpse. densinishon drew his hood over his head and turned away. He had important business to attend to.

A number of people had gathered around a large, circular wooden table inside the capitol building. densinishon and a few others filled the remaining seats. Superjolt appeared to be tinkering with some object under the table. A man scowled at Archy, muttering curses under his breath. "I killed that ****er last night." he thought. Klippy had a rather puzzled look as he scanned the area. "We're missing a few seats," he said. A man dressed in fine, purple robes raised his head. "That's because of our most recent victims" he replied. "As most of you know, Twiggy was murdered last night. But not only twiggy, Zehn too, was murdered."

The room grew silent with his last sentence. "We have reason to believe that some among you are really members of Gomorrah. As such, you will be tasked with deciding who among you will be executed" Golgari slammed his fist on the table. "That's ****ing ridiculous" he yelled, glaring at the man. He simply shrugged in reply. His bodyguard leaned over and whispered into his ear. "Arthur, do you really think this is a good idea?" he inquired. "No", he replied. "Do you even have the power to do this?" he asked. "No," he again replied.

Arthur turned to leave the room. "You have until the end of the day to decide who will be executed." he said. Slamming the door behind him.

Looks like the Assassin or Sharpshooter (most likely assassin) went after Archy and failed,. I'm guessing the Guard protected him, idk for sure. Nothing else says "evade death on N0" or something like that. It also looks like denishiron has some role... but I think that's true of just about everyone here.

We also know Archy's assailant is presumably male... which doesn't help us much, but whatevs. We also can't say for sure whether Archy's inno or not. Aside from those tidbits, I don't see anything of value in the phase post. So... without further ado, let the random lynching begin! unless the oracle's stepping forward on D1, which would simply be insane

Hm, I'm not so sure that it was the Assassin or Sharpshooter that tried to kill Archy. I don't think the Assassin would want to waste their kill on N0 and the Sharpshooter can only kill during the day. I'm thinking it was more likely the Psychopath.

I'm gonna have to disagree :/

It removes the possibility for pressure votes, and can likely make things unfair in many situations (let's say you have a wagon form on a player, then new info is presented that confirms the player as inno, but then it's too late for the player since votes can't be changed and they get lynched anyway - just seems like it would be unfair for that player)

It's just that I've never seen this rule in other places where I've played mafia and it just doesn't make much sense to me. I'm not sure how other people here in the UG feel about this though.

Sorry, not trying to spark an argument or anything (so I hope you're not mad at me Yukari :/ ), I just felt I needed to bring this up (and I apologize because I know this is sort of distracting from the game).

The reason I added the rule is because players have to think the votes through far more carefully before they actually vote. It reduces the likelihood that players are just going to throw votes around carelessly and make things like filler votes, random votes, w/e and start bandwagons in the first place since if you're wrong, you can't change your vote.

..In theory at least. Other games may have used this rule- I'm not sure I haven't really seen them if they have -but I'm testing the idea out to see how it works. (Also don't worry I'm not mad or anything. In fact, I appreciate the feedback. c:)

Bard, are you glad that you didn't get N0'd in Yuki's game? I mean I'm glad Yuki's already chill about you. I didn't get the free N0 Bard kill after all, lol.

Just saying this 'cause I think most of the first members of the UG Skype chat knows about this whole Yuki planning to N0 Bard in Babylon anyway lol. No offense, but you were kinda egotistical back then and the Bard hate was still kinda strong. Eh, months have passed since Blarz 1 and aSoIaF and we're all cool beans now hahaha. :3

Anyway back to the game...

okay i know this is a dangerous play but i think this is v important. I'm the Psychic and I got a vision about the psychopath...

"You saw the Psychopath gathering her items. You cannot see her face very vividly but you see blood around the room. It seems as if she likes to bleed her victims first before she kills them."

I know this is risky but I think this is Ash? Probably because of the bleed meme or something. Idk my Gunner Gut senses are tingling :P
 
Even though nothing can really happen in terms of people being revealed or anything suspicious happening on D1, I'm gonna end up voting but only later when a fair amount of people have and just go along with the wagon.
 
Remind me how Ash and blood go together again? (Apart from the monthly biological cycles of course)
 
Ash bleeding is an old EM meme that I doubt it relevant anymore.

And if it was Ash then lol because Archy used to get n0'd all the time and thats why he left mafia in the first place. So kinda counterintuitive of what Ash is trying to spread across the forum (its a good thing)

I doubt it's Ash
