holy crap sorry i'm late

err... i read through everything, but i suppose i haven't exactly given it enough thought. to be fair i haven't thought alex to be mafia, but at this point i'd almost say it's not useful to keep him alive just since everyone's going to go at him guns blazing anyway, and it doesn't seem like this bandwagon can be stopped.

Why, thank you, gb. Now, before y'all start saying he is a cultist along with me, let me point some facts
I can't be the cult head, cuz all the culted would die with me today.
I'm probably not a follower cultist cuz I've been acting this way all game. To call me a recruited cultist would be to contradict your whole attitude ever since day 1.
You've also said that my plays are "how not to play mafia" so you wouldn't expect me to keep behaving the same way after being culted.

The only way I could be related to the cult would be if I got recruited N0. But :
1.) Would I go to such lengths to not die as a recruited cultist?
2.) Would I have provided so much detailed info about my NAs?
3.) Why would I claim survivor instead of my previous role? Were I so unlucky to have been recruited N0 while I was mafia and thus couldn't claim my previous role?

4 out of 11 remaining players are mafia, correct? Do we have any 'confirmed' innocents right now? I say 'confirmed' (ie, Johnny being uncc'd ghoul atm) because, as Bard said, having all 5 third party roles dead this soon is quite unlikely. I feel like the cultist is still up and recruiting (but should be quite low on numbers).

I have a hunch (more of a gut feeling as opposed to logic, sorry) as to whom I think may be mafia, but i'll hold onto these until later on this day.

Right now, I'm starting to think alex was an actual survivor - whether we like it or not. Like I stated when I voted for him last phase, I felt how quickly the BW started right up again was suspiciously fast. And yes, I joined that very same wagon in that very post as well, not caring if I came off as suss. So right now, my hunch is towards those who started that wagon (which, iirc, are honey/ketsu/catman). I don't expect all or even 2 of them to be mafia, but I do believe that at least one is.

All three of them voted for alex on the back-to-back days, admittedly - so did I. XD But like I said, from my perspective and experience, I find it hard to trust alex and his arguements and considered him mafia. I'll admit being wrong: I think he was the survivor, and not a cultist/recruit.

That doesn't lessen my suspicion of the three I named though. And I am unsure of Klippy/Mana right now. :/ Mana hasn't talked much, and Klippy hasn't talked much since day 1 and 2's events (based off him shooting, etc). If I were to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Klippy's defense (where he argues he's innocent because he did what was asked of him, kept it public and shoot a 3rd party player) since if he never did comply or pulled a shady move (like not claiming the gun, or going against public wishes made be the majority in the thread) he would have been lynched immediately. That being said, there is also no way to prove that he is or isn't innocent based off that. How he acted was how he had to act if he didn't want to appear scummy. :/

Mana on the other hand... has been quiet for the most part so it's hard to say. ): He has tried calling me out on how I "knew" some of the dead were cultists - which I didn't know for sure, I was just making an educated guess based off numbers. It was more likely that by when I made that post - some non-zero number of recruits had died.

I'd also like to suggest a theory: there have been a couple 3rd party kills at night correct? This could be a result of the mafia targeting their own members after they had been recruited by the cult. In the mafia's position, it would be in their best interest to kill off cultist recruits since the town has been playing like crap (myself included) and killing themselves off without the mafia's help. :/

edit: To add on to my theory - who says the mafia would even wait for the next night to use their kill on the recruits when they could sheep the townsfolk into doing it during the day, and then use the mafia kill for more important roles in the game?

Additional note: Seeing as how far we are into the game with no cop roleclaim, and the town doing so badly - I assume the cop has died a while ago? ;_;

i think we should pay a little more attention to the people that are slinking by day to day, there's got to be so scum lurking around. also i don't see how role claiming would be very helpful this late in an cult-infested, no reveal game.

@Ulli: Alex was acting pretty suspicious early on and only got worse. His lynch was pushed multiple times and it looked like he was getting more aggressive (and what I thought was more desperate) each time he survived. I don't think anyone here can deny how scummy he had been acting.

Welp, in any case, it's pretty early and I feel almost inebriated so I'll be back later.

I'm at work for another hour and a half and then I'm going right to bed, but I thought cult couldn't recruit mafia. Don't they die if they recruit? Correct me if I'm wrong. Don't have the EM list in front of me.
