To be honest, I think the dark blue aims more towards how Halloween usually involves things being dark and scary, because I'm pretty sure there aren't that many people that go Trick-Or-Treating at noon. I think it fits the holiday pretty well, as there is still Orange and Green (The hair) and their's a dark feel to it.

ANYWAY I think the blue is nice. We... have a lot of blue themes already, but this one still seems fine to me. It's way better than the other Hallowe'en theme and it's only a banner so far.

I third this idea. I'm so used to just clicking anywhere on the top banner area and it taking me to the index. just having one side clickable is driving me nuts in here.
