I didn't see a post about this yet, soooo...

Did you guys enjoy the Battle Chateau in this game? How did it compare for you to the battle arenas from other games like the Battle Tower or even the Battle Maison that's also in Kalos? What do you think of the ranks (Baron, Viscountess, Duke, Duchess, etc)? Did you find the chateau particularly helpful, and if so, how?

I love it and it's one of my favorite parts of Pokemon X & Y! I thought it was really REALLY helpful for training before the elite four and also for saving up money quickly, especially since you get the Amulet Coin just up the road from the Chateau. It helped me out more than just earning BP.

I think the ranks help motivate me more to train, and I love the writs that you can send to bring in more battlers, or make their Pokemon more tough to beat.

Plus, as you get higher in the ranks, you can re-battle gym leaders or elite four members from time to time. Even Diantha, the champion. It's just really fun. All in all I think it's a great addition to the game and I hope they have something similar to it in future games.

I'm not too much of a battle facility person, to be honest, but I did enjoy what it had to offer. Gaining experience from matches and making some decent money with Amulet Coin attached; I'm not sure if there's anything more that we could ask for.

Personally I enjoyed Battle Chateau a lot, since my Pokémon can gain lots of Exp. Points, not to mention many Furisode Girls with Audino can be a huge help too. Besides of that, there's also the fact that I can rack up my in-game money there thanks to Amulet Coin + Prize Money O Power combined, which makes it more helpful if I wanted to buy many different things like clothes and stat enhancers like Protein.

Yes!! I'm a duchess so I'm encountering them a lot more frequently now and it's really helping me train my post-game team. Slap on a lucky egg and you're good to go.

And yeah the money definitely helps, especially after unlocking the clothing shop in Lumiose City. I'm a completionist so it's my goal to buy ALL the clothes in game, even stuff I know I'll never wear, and that Boutique makes it hard as hell

I really dislike all of the battle facilities in Pokémon, it feels like just something they put in instead of making an actual postgame. Yes, it gets the necessary items for competitive battle, but they could have done something a bit more intresting.

Clarification: The Battle Chateau is not a competitive battle facility, but rather a solid training spot.

I enjoyed it more so than the Train stations, the theme park battles, the towers, etc. I always felt like the Battle Tower/Battle facilities were always a lot of grind for little reward, but the Battle Château had exp. as well as cash to be had. Re-battling the Elite four and the Gym Leaders is a bonus, more so than battling your 'rival' or friends over and over again. 5 Star hotel, the Battle Château.

I never saw the Chateau as a traditional "battle facility"- I kind of define those as places where you don't get EXP. But I loved the Chateau, oh my god. Such a good training ground- semi-customisable and with monetary rewards, unlike wild battles!

I didn't play it that often at all :( Not really sure why. Seems fun but... I dunno. I would rather move on with the game's story than stay on the early route for this purpose.

I moved on initially but I came back often after I got Fly when I had to grind and especially when i was training up things to evolve for the PokéDex~
