...a LOT of pokemon in the Elite 4 had Double Team or Minimize in the first run. Curses to thee Koga! -grumble-

I've always wondered this...how does Disable choose a move to disable?
Edit: Oh. Found out. That's really lame.

i see that aero abandoned the arguement that i didnt say gardevoir was a good counter
btw griffon im saying that they're locked into using a fire move so i can use all the focus blasts i want because they are LOCKED into using flamethrower, heatwave, fire blast etc

They will switch you Idiot

today i used focus blast on a tyranitar on the switch and it ohko d it

It only has a 4x weakness, plus it was a switch =/

also i test it out because them staying in using fire moves on a flash fire pokemon IS NOT smart so the possible common counters would be scizor or tyranitar (and some others but these are the ones we are discussing)
p2 cant learn disable

wtf?

ill stay in on the switch to tyranitar because i have focus sash so ill have a chance to use focus blast unless it misses

Sup im entry hazards, good battlers use me unlike you and they sorta break your sash

but seriously whats the pokemon game without risk umm everytime you switch you take a risk ... maybe the person predicted it.... hypnosis is a risk it has horrible accuracy 2 yet ppl still have it on some pokemon

Lurk more

Lurk more

EDIT: Tar also has sand stream aka oh look your sash is sorta eliminated.

Lol at Gardyvoir being a good counter for Tran...
Lurk more....
Maybe you should quote that i said that...for proof
gardevoir can cover the switch from tran is what i said... focus blast kill t ran......so i really didnt have to worry about sand stream and i switched gardevoir out??
LOL
idk who would switch in a dark type to take a focus blast (b4 you say But what if your not using focus blast??? im using it to harm heatran WHICH IS WHAT WE ARE DISCUSSING)
btw you may lol at my friends honchcrow but with choice scarf and its nice attack stat it can sometimes OHKO BLISSEY)

youtube battlers are morons aero everyone knows that -.- the battlers here are a challenge because ppl like you overreact to everything
btw i really dont care about your record, i only battle for fun NOT to brag idk about u guys

gardevoir is just a good counter for any choice scarfer using a special move its not weak 2 (in case you didnt notice that can be pretty common in OU)
Hey lurk im aerodactyl i taunt to stop the stealth rock from coming up
Hey lurk im a battle noob and i lead with tyranitar ( i know its supposed to be a azelf counter) but since you guys are so into balanced teams i would think you would hate passive damage
btw you guys do know that you can use UU pokemon in OU battles i mean NOBODY CARES
all i said was gardevoir can counter heatran and you think i started the haulocaust

LOL YOU LEAD WITH TYRANTITAR aren't you supposed to help your team with your lead or did i get it wrong??? ( i know that sandstorm teams exist except a lot of the pokemon used in such teams are weak to one of the most common moves ever.....EQ, A STAB EQ RIPS THROUGH TYRANITAR SCIZOR HEATRAN JIRACHI ) (yeah i know about the azelf counter but their are better counters)

btw u do know that gardevoir can cover the switches made into her rite??? thats again what i am saying

Hi, I'm Espeon. I outclass you in every way possible. I can kill Skuntank :D

Anyway, not everyone on youtube is a moron. Gardevoir can only make a good switch in on a choice scarfer if it a) resists the attack or b) is a switch-in from being killed, and the only decent Gardy set is wish lol.

just no lol this arguement is about how gardevoirs ability can counter heatran choice scarfed
so nice try but thanks for playing

btw this is what smogon has to say about honchcrow, haters

Honchkrow is a very welcome evolution from its pre-evolved form, Murkrow. It is a ridiculously powerful physical attacker, and has access to one of the strongest Sucker Punches in the game. When you combine this with access to a powerful Brave Bird and a usable base 71 Speed stat, you have quite the sweeper on your hands. While Honchkrow's frailness is somewhat of a letdown, its immunities to Earthquake and sleep-inducing moves like Hypnosis means that it won't be short on opportunities to switch in and cause some damage. Honchkrow can also run a Nasty Plot set. Honchkrow's rather disappointing Speed can easily be remedied by slapping a Choice Scarf on Honchkrow as well. Honchkrow does have its fair share of problems, however; its low defensive stats are a problem, and the fact that Honchkrow has a Stealth Rock weakness limits its chances to switch in. Honchkrow's Sucker Punch can also be used as an opportunity for threats to set up, such as Dragon Dance Salamence and Gyarados. Honchkrow's Scizor problems do it no favors, as it is basically completely shut down by Scizor's Bullet Punch. Overall, however, Honchkrow's powerful STAB attacks and gross unpredictability make it a decent choice on most OU teams.

Wait so if this argument is about how Gardevior counters heatran that is scarfed what does Honchkrow have to do with that? Yes Gardevoir can come in on heatrans fire blast. Big whoop. You know that any decent player WILL switch into something that lols at Gardevoir. You make it sound like heatran will stay in and keep attacking with fire blast. That will NOT happen. So please stop talking about Gardevoirs ability to counter heartan. As its a pretty useless argument that you have already lost.

Umm, have you played pokemon before lol? LeadTar is one of the bulkiest leads out there. Maybe you should play more before you make stupid comments like that, because you are making yourself look stupid.

Also, what nate said is true. Any battler with half a brain and the ability to press buttons on a DS will switch out of Gardevior who traced Flash Fire and switch to Blissey who walls the piss out of you or Snorlax, or Bronzong, or any other Special wall available in the current metagame.

Actually, Gardevoir's double status set is pretty fun to play with. I have yet to try out Gallade or Ninetails' double status sets but so far, thumbs up from me! ^.^

I come back form my big test today, expecting this argument to be over and I come home and find this =/

Huh, what? Why was that directed at me? ;o; This argument has gotten out of hand. The result of this argument:

1) Stress on the battle stadium.
2) NickofTime looks even worse than he did before.

That is all. Now let's move on. And please, anyone with any sense, if the argument is brought up again, PLEASE ignore it. I hate to minimod, but I'd rather do something productive than be a bystander and let this (grammatically incorrect) flame war go on. If I get yelled at for minimodding, so be it. I want this to stop. ;o;

Anyway, new discussion time. How about the whole mess that HG has created called super grinding? I mean, I can hardly get anywhere in it anymore because the E4 is super powerful and stuff, and my best bet for grinding is fishing. Which I kinda hate. ;o;

well im sry for offending cyndrome
and no its a flame war i agree with aero this discussion is childish, you should all go to the corner

i think the absence of the vs seeker has made the ev training a lot more difficult it now takes me about a day to make a pokemon while in platinum it took me about 3 hours-disappointing really, the upside is there is a much more diverse pokemon in random encounters due to the large region. In fact the starters they give to you basically encourage you to breed them like bunnies

charmillionare rates this discussion a BOOM Click reload out of DRIVE BY
you know what i think is actually ironic aero insults me and says the arguement is over but you know how the internet works right? females are a minority and thus they can say anything

They have this nifty little place called Mt Silver, aero...have you heard of it?

really because he complains like a chick
ANYWAYS
honchcrows and absol's ability superluck does it work like serene grace by doubling the chances or increases it by a set amount (always adds like 25% more chance to crit or something
