The only reason I haven't posted is because I was the last person that posted. I've been waiting for days now to write my next post :( I want Zakk to get through Mt. Moon so badly because Cerulean City is where I plan for his plot to really kick off.

Popularity: Floyd believes that all the girls like him and all the guys want to be him; and he intends to live up to that. Whatever makes people idolize him, he'll do it. However, he's not above doing anything to be popular; he would certainly not join a criminal organization for that goal.
Perfection: Floyd Pinkman is always thinking about being a perfectly flawless Trainer. Although he has only started out a couple weeks ago, he thinks he's already perfect and wants to keep it that way. He's constantly trying to update his team and think about the endless possibilities to make his team be able to defeat any challenger.


Family:

His parents live in Fucshia City, where Floyd was born and raised. When he turned 18, he moved with his then-20-year-old sister Rayne to a condo in Celadon City. His sister is currently living and taking care of the apartment with her boyfriend, Steve. Although Floyd and Steve get along well, they're not really close friends.

Strengths:

Strategist: Floyd Pinkman rarely finds himself with no backup plan. Before ever attempting something, he tries to draw up a plan B or a C in case things don't go as expected. This has led him to overcome several type disadvantages in battles, and win.
Strong sense of Justice: Floyd will try to be a hero sometimes and stop people from harassing others. Although this is not to help someone in need, but rather than to give himself an ego boost, people will largely appreciate it and give him the thanks and compliments he believes he deserves.
Perfectionist: Regarding his team, he will teach his Pokémon odd moves to try to cover the type disadvantages. Has a lot to do with his strategy planning, and he is particularly fond of using TM moves. He is also thinking how to improve all the time, aiming to become stronger and stronger.

Weaknesses:

Huge Ego: Vanity overshadows practically all of Floyd Pinkman's flaws. He lives thinking that he's the best there ever was, and vows to prove that to people all the time. He will tease other people just to give himself an ego-boost, and will not hesitate about bragging about his achievements.
Smoker: Floyd has a habit of occasionally smoking cigarettes. While not smoking more than two packs per week, this habit has certainly taken its toll on his lungs, making physical tasks like running or climbing much harder for him. He also tends to cough a lot because of this.
Easily bored: Whenever a situation Floyd's involved in stops catering to his amusement, he will quit it and attempt to move on to something else, sometimes leaving people or Pokémon behind.

Since he is a recurring character, I thought I wouldn't elaborate a lot on how he got his Pokémon. Let me know if I should expand more or just leave it as it is.

Considering that there's no actual requirement for you to write an SU for an NPC rival, what you have there is perfectly fine.

Also guys, I am considering abolishing the rule forcing people to start in Pewter City once we have gotten a little further ahead. Note, considering.

So, my last post took a long while to get up, but it got done in the end. Before my next post, I wanted to ask if we could fail to catch Pokémon without the GM's decision? I'd like Zakk to fail to catch a Pokémon, but is that always down to the GM?

Very good ones, his constant bickering with Bal (it was Bal wasn't it?) was really amusing and I love that he accidentally caught the jerk pikachu haha
