3rd Gen Best and Worst Sprites

What are some of your favorite Gen III sprites, and what are some of your least favorites? ....God, wtf were they thinking with Feraligatr's back sprite, though?

I can't really come up with a favorite but I know my least favorite is Nosepass. It is way too rounded, doesn't look anything like the official art. It straight up scared me as a child; even to this day I greatly dislike Nosepass because the original sprite disturbed me so much.

don't really have an issue with most of the Gen 3 sprites, but like Rivvon, i don't really have much of a favourite, either. least favourite would be Raticate though cause.... it just looks so unappealing. @_@

I think that the only time I've ever felt Pokemon sprites were outright bad were in Gen 1 really, afterwards there was a dramatic increase in quality.

Like, in the span of a few years/1 generation we went from this:

and the Gen 2 sprite clearly looks so much better.

The Gen 3 Feraligatr backsprite is.....a bit unfortunate though

Not gonna lie, but I honestly found the backsprite of Swampert to be very annoying in Gen 3. It just looks like a huge blue blob!
