Valentines day is the day I stop and think "What's so special about being in a relationship? As you can guess I have no romantic life. :P
 
I don't know how you guys are content with being single. :_:

I am thinking of going out with this girl who has a major crush on me, just to get the experience of having a relationship. She's somewhat cute, I guess. She's always calling me by these odd names or kicking my ass while she's walking, so it's been made clear to me that she likes me. :P

I just don't think I need a relationship at the moment. Love is great and all, but I don't need that right now. I have friends and family who love me anyways. :)

Don't do that. Not if you don't like the girl, and just for the experience. It's going to be one sided, and that's setting up a disaster.
 
I think the only drawback into dating her is that I would be outside of a submissive role in the relationship, which is a major problem for me. I don't like being the one in charge socially, though I enjoy dominance in other areas. Does that make me weird as a man?

And Dipu, am so picky about my girls that I still haven't found someone who I can truly see. I have to have a really good mixture of looks and personality together that makes it virtually impossible for me to find someone that isn't taken. :(
 
Hm. Well, fair enough, but don't go into it selfishly. Realize she's going to be as crucial to the relationship as you are. Don't focus on how you feel, only, is basically what I'm getting at. And obviously be a gentleman, with chivalry and whatnot. As for the submissive role, nah, it's not weird. Not the norm, but it isn't unheard of.

I simply don't care about dating, It just doesn't interest me. I don't Intend to sound sexist here but women don't interest me either, I don't care about a person's gender at all.

Do you think you'll never be interested in dating...? Judging by your age, and assuming that it's accurate, that might have something to do with it? If not, then perhaps later.

I'll be honest, I doubt it. I here "You'll change your mind" a lot but I had more interest in dating BEFORE I started going through adolescence.
