Yeah, I don't think that, don't worry. Its other things I'm worried about.

A wise man once said "Avoid hangovers, stay drunk!"

Probably the stuff about the debt and loans and all that then. I don't know much about it, but I don't think there are reasons to be mad at the German people. If you want to be mad at someone for that, be mad at the politicians.

Speaking of Germans, I was talking to a girl from Germany just yesterday, & I told her I was half German. My father's ancestors were from Germany. She said that because I lived in America, that I was 100% American. Now correct if I'm wrong, but do people really view things like that, ignoring ethnicities? America doesn't even have their own outside of Native Americans, am I not correct?

I used to think that Europe was incredibly liberal, but I guess not. They're not North Americans by a long shot. I don't think it's ignoring ethnicities, it's taking it more seriously than we do here.

Sector, you're talking about the girl who was hanging around #Tradecorner yesterday, yes?
She did mention that her stereotypical comments were based on people in her school, but she definitely did group all Americans into them.

I honestly thought that it might be one of the regulars messing around, but her Whois didn't match another user's, that I can remember.

Personally I don't really bother about ethnicities or stereotypes or such, you can be half American, quarter Chinese and quarter Kyrgyzstani, if you're a nice person I like you, that's it

I've always considered Europeans to be way more conservative compared to Americans, but that's just from a standpoint of looking at our beliefs compared to theirs. Even between the USA and Canada, there can be ethnicity differences and different beliefs as well.

Yes, her. The comment she made about me cutting my other German half with a knife after I said I was half German was plain hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing hahaha!

Beware the sandy cheeks.

I've only ever been to Europe to got to Spain to visit realitives, but the people around them where pretty nice. Everywhere you go, there will always be someone in the group with prejudice or something. It's not so much about proving them wrong anymore, as it's just moving away and not falling trap to their skepticism

I think I missed that conversation, Sector haha. She was already there when I came around, so I guess it happened while I was away.

I'm beginning to wonder how many people are true to stereotypes.

Ah, Germany, I'd like to visit someday. Especially during Ocktoberfest.

The only time I've been out of the US was when I took a cruise down to Mexico when I was 16. Went to Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas, very beautiful places. Nice place to scuba dive too, the water is warmer than Monterey, so you don't need a big bulky wetsuit.

As far as stereotypes go, they're not complete guidelines or anything. However, and I know people will disagree with me on this, but I believe stereotypes exist because they have at least some basis in truth. Not complete truth but some. The majority of Germany may no longer be nazis, but I imagine there are quite a few skinheads still running around.

Did somebody say Oktoberfest?

Spoiler:

Ja, danke :3

I think enough people are true to stereotypes when you can laugh at them.

You always give stereotypes when it comes to angular faces hehe

You are always showing that picture to me. Why don't you just go meet her finally?

Why do I show this picture all the time?

1) She is not too angular.

2) She is not too angular.

3) She's my go-to German girl. Also, Oktoberfest.

I do wish I could meet her... ;; She can serve much more than just beer, like wiener schnitzel for instance.

Her family?

First I want to meet HER.

I love Germany and the German people, omg. I took six years in school and one of my favorite classes was German Classical Literature. It was a lit class all in German!
