That's EXACTLY what my iPod Nano looks like. I can still play music & stuff, but the screen is just like that 24/7. Very rarely it'll go back to normal so I can see what I'm doing, otherwise, you're stuck with where you are once it blacks out, therefore going back to that mess up screen...

I have a pretty hard time trying to strike a conversation with others.

Ugh, yeah, same here. x-x Along with that, I'm not very good at keeping conversations alive ether... wish I was, though.

He's actually a crazy mutt mix that's about 65% black. He's got short, brown hair and an egghead, and he's a 17-year-old senior. So he's not even 18.

Everyone calls him by his last name, Hogan, even those who aren't in ROTC. In our group he's Lt. Colonel Hogan, similar to Colonel Hogan from Hogan's Heroes. Which by the way is the only show in history to make Nazi Germany funny and is thus legendary

I would have chosen a different noun than elephant. But I guess since those come from Africa, it's somewhat acceptable for a racist joke.

Jokes like that can certainly be funny, assuming nobody gets all upset about it. I personally would be amused if someone directed a joke / stereotype at me. I have a weird sense of humor, so things that would potentially upset/offend/etc. other people is funny to me.
