It's not hard at all to style vB, the worst part is doing the graphics. Thankfully Gav did those for my last theme.

I'm just terrible at designing stuff, period - I have zero artistic skill and only a basic working knowledge of Photoshop. I'm okay at coding (though really rusty since I don't do it nearly as much as I used to) but it's the actual design process that eludes me.

Graphics are probably nothing for me, as I could either use sources to make them (of course with proper credit and whatnot) or make them myself in Photoshop. I'd say the only problem I'd have is a way to try out creating the theme and testing it, because I'm not entirely sure where I could go to test a theme out for vBulletin, considering that the software isn't free.

Making themes sure takes dedication and effort, you have to imagine how the theme will look like and will it be comfortable for anyone to see and use. I've been there when developing a custom theme for my dream site some years ago.
I've never been concerned with that. When I'm making styles the only person I'm concerned about is me. I make styles for my own use in mind, after all. Plus, if I think it looks good, then I assume others as well. I have never made a style with someone else in mind. Though I do try to make my styles universal so that anyone can use them without much of a problem, it isn't something I consciously think of doing.

Well, that's what I meant, being universally acceptable is one big thing if it comes to designing {XD}

I have vBulletin on my computer on localhost for testing and stuff. It's irreplacable for theme design… particularly vB3.

Even if I did get around to styling stuff, I have a feeling that it'll be for vBulletin 5.

I think there's like one Pokémon forum that uses vB5, but I forget what it's called. I guess PokéSphere will make #2, eh? Everyone knows vB4 sucks, and even though vB3 has an awesome userbase… you can't buy it anymore. :(

If any of y'all have been in a vBulletin Admin CP, you'd know how sleek and awesome the vB2 ACP theme is. Gold and blue is just… stunning. Amirite? :D

I never seen the vBulletin Admin CP before, however, I did see the Admin CP of Joomla site that I made via localhost, and the Admin CP of a certain forum site that I was an admin of, on many months ago. That site don't use vBulletin though.

I've seen the inside of a vBulletin Admin CP before, thanks to an old vBulletin version of a forum Gunner once made many months ago. Sadly died of inactivity though, but yeah I was in fact a staff member there.

Haha, I remember those days, hosting those two forums. I really wish I wasn't so stupid to set up PokéSphere and Bellossodia for failure like that…

@DCC
Yes, I'm well aware. My mother told me so.

Yeah, and I guess you're taking a break from that sorta stuff for a while after your recent fail of PokeSphere.
