[Best Veteran March/May 2011] A new professor in town - Kanto Adventure PG13

@Alipeewee - making deals with pokemon... Warren stooping to new lows? If it helps him beat Misty I suppose its worth it though

@Konekodemon - Kairi watched Jill battle Samantha and her Psyduck. Jill won the match easily, and knocked Psyduck out with a combo of sand attack leading into a quick attack. This set up the final match between Kairi & Pikachu and Jill & Eevee

Congratulations Pikachu grew to Level 13 and learned Quick Attack

Kairi and Jill came out facing each other,"You don't stand a chance, Kairi," Jill told her laughing,"This won't end like it did on Route 2 when your Caterpie beat my Eevee."

"Go Pikachu!" Kairi called.

"Go Eevee!" Jill also called.

"Thundershock!" Kairi called.

"Like I didn't see that one coming! Eevee turn around and spin your tail like a fan!" Jill called.

"Eevee!" Eevee said, spining it's tail. The Thundershock attack just spinned off of it. Kairi lost major points for that. "Pikachu! Quick Attack!" Kairi called.

"Eevee you use Quick Attack as well!" Jill told it.

Both Eevee and Pikachu both bumped heads and flew backwards. Both Jill and Kairi lost points.

"Now check out this cool move Kairi. Eevee Shadow Ball!" Jill screamed.

Eevee shot this big ball of darkness at Pikachu. "Pikachu! Watch out!" Kairi called,"Wait! Spin your tail like what Eevee did!"

Pikachu turned around and spinned it's tail knocking the Shadow Ball back towards Eevee hitting it,"Eevee!" Eevee screamed in pain.

"Hey! That was my idea you can't take plans that aren't yours!" Jill conplained. "So. You did it first, when you avoided Pikachu's Thundershock. Now Pikachu use Quick Attack conbined with Thundershock!"

Jill tried to tell her Eevee to move but it was to weak to move. Pikachu hit Eevee with a conbind Thundershock and Quick Attack. Eevee was knocked out,"No! Eevee!" Jill called. Even though Jill still had more points then Kairi, she lost cause her Pokemon couldn't go on fighting. An X appeared on her name. Kairi was the winner. Kairi cheered.

Jill smiled, recalled Eevee, and walked over to Kairi, shaking her hand,"Thanks Kairi. That was a good match. Your Pikachu's very strong."

"Thanks, so is your Eevee," Kairi grinned, shaking hands back with Jill.

@Konekodemon - Congratulations Pikachu grew to Level 15

"Well Done Kari," said the head judge walking onto the stage, "That was a very entertaining battle. It gives me great pleasure to present you with the Saffron City Ribbon!"

"Thanks a lot," Kairi said, she held up the Ribbon,"Yea! I got the Saffron City Ribbon!" Pikachu jumped up in the air screamed,"Pikachu!"

The Contest was now over. Kairi put her Ribbon, in her ribbon case, and her and Jill walked out of the building,"Well Kairi where will you be heading from here?" Jill asked.

"I'm heading back to Cerulen City to enter the Contest there," Kairi told her.

"Too bad I already got that one a long time ago," Jill said.

"But how?" Kairi asked.

"I live in Saffron. This is my home," Jill says.

"Oh. So where are you headed now?" Kairi asked.

"I'm heading to Virmillion City to do some training. I heard there's a great cruise ship there called the ST. Anne. If your ever in the area you should check it out Kairi," Jill said. She turned around and walked away. Kairi waved bye. Then her and her Pokemon turned around and started heading back to Cerulen City, planning to do a little bit of trainning first. (I know everyone's naming it after the games. But since were going more by the show, I think it should be what the show calls it, the St. Anne, which sounds better anyway.)

@Konekodemon - tbh I'm probably not going to put the St or SS Anne in at all. Its perfectly possible that it would be on sail rather than in dock. I dont think it will serve much purpose tbh. I'll put the route in for training, so it wont be needed for training.

awww, but my character and Sean already planned to meet on the St. Anne

Going Forward

After picking up her pokemon from Nurse Joy Rini decided while it was still early in the day to begin heading for the next city. She also decided a little pit stop at the Poke' Mart was in order.

She walked around looking at various items. Then a certain book caught her eye. "The Breeders guide to style. This sounds interesting." She flipped the book around to look at the back. "To a breeder nothing is more important then a well cared after pokemon. By reading this book you will gain the insight to becoming a top notch breeder. Easy recipies, latest trends, and basic tips to egg care are all covered."

Rini tucked the book under her arm and continued looking around.

In the end she walked up to the counter and placed 2 potions, 1 revive, 3 pokeballs, 1 repel, the book, and a pokemon brush down.

"That'll be 1460 poke' please." the woman at the registure smiled.

Rini nodded and counted out the money before paying her, declining a bag and stuffing the items into her bag insteed, being careful of the egg..... and bird.

She left the store in better spirits and strolled down the path to route 3. During the whole walk she had her nose pressed in the book, and an apple in her hand she was munching on.

"Wow this is so cool....." Rini stared at a picture of a Vulpix. "It says here Vulpix is this month's breeders choice. Due to it's cool nature and fiery disposition Vulpix is hot in the runnings this year..... literally." she paused and took a bite from her apple.

Pidgey poked his head out of her bag and glanced over her shoulder at the picture of the fox. He chirped and puffed up slightly.

"Don't worry Pidgey, you and my other pokemon are my number one picks." Rini reached back and patted the bird lightly on the head, who cooed in response.

Suddenly Pidgey screached a warning, and batted his wings against his trainers head.

"Pidgey, what's your deal?" Rini started, twisting her head back to glare at the bird. "I just gave you a....."

"SHREWWW!"

Rini paused and glanced down, right at the Sandshrew whose tail she was currently troding on. "Oh, ummmm..... opsie."

"Sand shrew. Sandshrew sand!" the pokemon pulled his tail out from under her foot. He then wiggled his finger back and forth. "Sandshrew...."

"Huh?" Rini stared at him. "I don't have a clue what you said."

Pidgey however hopped down to stand in front of his trainer, and chirped a response back.

"Sandshrew?" he poked pidgey in the chest. "Sand sand."

Pidgey looked angry now as all of a sudden he tackled Sandshrew, knocking him back slightly.

"Pidgey, take it easy." Rini said looking surprised. "Sandshrew I'm really sorry I stepped on your tail. It was an accident." she bowed slightly.

Sandshrew hopped up and scratched her face, leaving three virtical lines, and a shocked expression upon the girl's face.

"Ahhhh! That hurt! What's your problem?!"

Pidgey chirped angrly as well.

Sandshrew however made a come here motion and grinned.

When Sean was walking towards the path of Route 24, he walked past a few trainers, talking to each other with their Pokemon out. The weather was sunny, and people were relaxing in swimming pools, and sunbathing on the ground with towels. Once Sean was next to the path, he could see a large house, with a mailbox outside of it labelled, "The Davis'"
The house was cream coloured, and decorated with lots of curtains. People were standing outside the house, each were taking a look at this house. Sean thought that the family must be rich and famous, since they had a lot of people waiting to see them. That was when a little girl came running out of the house crying. She ran to the bush next to sean and kneeled down with her arms folded on top. "I...I...I want a new one!!" she sobbed with her words had to understand. "Erm...anything I can help you with?" Sean wanted to be nice to her, since their family was rich and he could get a great reward for helping out. "W-Who are you?"
"I'm Sean Taylor, from Cinnabar Isle, a Pokemon Trainer. I thought you might need a little bit of help."
"Only if you can get me one of these," she took out a poster from her skirt pocket, which was white with two Pokemon on the front of it, these were the two Nidorans. "I'd love one of these for my birthday, which is today, but my daddy got me another one which he told me was not one of these! Would you happen to have one?" Sean thought for a moment, he did not want to give her his Nidoran which was well attached to him, when he just remembered he had his egg. "Well, I have...an egg which will hatch into one of those." the little girl was smiling widely, and started to squese his arm. "Please Sean! Pleeease! I want it!! I'll give you..." then her dad came marhing out of the house, looking for her. "Chantelle! Where are you?" Sean guessed that must be her name. The man came walking towards her, and looked at her as if she had did something wrong. "Chantelle, how many times have I told you. No talking to strangers!" Sean was somehow offended, as he was not strange at all. "Erm, this your daughter?"
"Yes, it is. What is she doing with you?" Chantelle turned around to him, "Daddy, this guy is offering me a Nidoran egg! Please say yes! Pleeeease!" she definetly wanted it, Sean did not exactly see why as this egg couldn't be that bad. "I suppose." her Dad gave in and turned his head back to Sean, "So, you want to give her a Nidoran? That's very kind of you. Would you like..." the man had walked back into the house, with Chantelle turning back to Sean.
Sean was very excited about the reward, since they were so rich it must be something valuable. Then he stepped out of the door, signalling him to come over, Chantelle following him.
"Would you like to stay for a moment and have a hot drink?" Sean was rather let down as he thought there must be a better reward than that. Once Sean had walked inside the house, there was a lot of birthday balloons and decorations. There was also a lot of paintings that looked like they were out of a museum, they must have been rich. "Cool place. Never seen much like it before." Sean complimented. "Thank you. We're the Davis family, we're the most richest family in Cerulean. How we got rich, well, let's just say I was one of the best trainers back in my time, and won a lot of competition. Oh yeah, I forogt to introduce myself. I'm Mark." They walked into the kitchen, which looked like a restraunt. Mark headed towards the coffee machine, and opened the cupboard full of sachets of hot drinks. "Chocolate?" Mark offered, Sean nodded his head. "Please, take a seat. Chantelle, you wait in the other room." Sean sat at the mahogany dining chair, which had a shiny surface. Mark handed him a hot mug of Chocolate. "So, what would you like for this egg?" Sean did not know what to say. If he said money, then it would sound pretty roud. "Well, I heard Chantelle talk about her present she did not like."
"Oh, hold on a minute, I'll go fetch you it." Mark walked outside of the room, and along the hallway. Sean wondered what this could be, and hoped it would be something good. Mark came walking back inside of the room with an egg. "This is it, Chantelle did not want it as she thought it would not be a Nidoran. I have no clue what it is, but it is not a Nidoran. That's for sure." Sean was interested, as this could be a rare Pokemon. "So, do we have a deal here? I mean, these eggs could hatch into anything. Even if it's really rare." Sean started to think about it. The drink was finished, and he had to make his decision. "Well, I'll have to talk it out with my Nidoran. The one that was bred." Mark understood. Sean took out his Nidoran and talked with it, "Nidoran, I hope you don't mind, but your baby is going to be traded away, don't get upset as it'll be alright." Nidoran started to look sad, like it was confused. Eventually, he nodded with his eyes closed. "Alright. I guess we have our answer." Chantelle came back in. "Did he say yes Daddy? Did he? Did he??" Chantelle was excited, while Nidoran was still quite frustrated. "Yes, Chantelle." Mark had told her, trying to sound calm. She let out a scream of happiness and started to squeeze Sean's arm again. Sean handed Chantelle the Nidoran egg, with Nidoran staring at it for the last time. Nidoran was retreated back into the PokeBall as Sean accepted the other egg. "Thank you for the gift, Chantelle will truly enjoy it." They waved him out of the house, while Sean walked back to the path of Route 24, walking down to see if there were any Trainers to battle with.

"A'right, Goldy, lets show this young 'un!" Warren sighed as the hillbilly fisherman released a Goldeen. It was kinda funny really - with no water to swim in, the fish was forced to bounce and roll its way around.
"Bellsprout, its time." he muttered under his breath and the walking plant tentatively stepped forwards.
"Lets give 'em a Horn Attack!" the hick shouted and Goldeen threw itself forwards, its Horn pointed forwards. Unfortunately, it wasn't used to maneuvering on dry land and barely managed to get any momentum at all, so Bellsprout dodged it with ease. Goldeen landed hard, but spun around, just in time to be struck across the face with a Vine Whip Bellsprout cheered as it reeled back, but Goldeen faced it once again and screeched loudly. Bellsprout staggered a little, holding its leaves to the sides of its head.
"Vine Whip again!" Warren ordered and Bellsprout complied, but something was wrong. Bellsprout was staggering all over the place like it was drunk, its vine whips waving wildly. Warren ducked as one flew over his head. Bellsprout had been confused by a supersonic attack.
"Just keep trying!" he shouted and eventually, one of the vines connected, sending Goldeen flying through the air. Before it could hit the ground, it was recalled by its trainer.
"I guess that'd be why you lost 'gainst Misty," he called, "You don't got a plan, you just go all out an' hope fer the best." Warren frowned. Although he wasn't surprised that Misty had been telling everyone how easily she'd beaten him, he hadn't expected it and being criticised by a stranger was incredibly irritating. Even if there was some element of truth in what he'd said. Sighing, Warren returned Bellsprout and turned to leave.
"Thanks for the advice," he called sarcastically. Though that didn't mean that he was going to disregard it...

On the path of Rout 24 were young trainers, like on Route 3 before. There were many more though, it was like a huge battle park. Some of the trainers were young, wearing normal clothes, with small Pokemon. Some of them were dressed in green uniforms, like they were a part of some sort of camp. It looked like all of them were in a battle, and there was nobody who was ready to battle Sean yet. The path had ended, and he ended up in a huge sort-of park, where to the right was more trainers battling together, and to the left was a bunch of tall grass with a river next to it. Sean decided to start off his training in the tall grass, which was right next to a large river that led across the side of Cerulean. Sean walked over and got one of his PokeBalls out. "Come out, Zubat!" Sean pushed the button, sending out Zubat. Sean thought that it'd be a good idea to train up his more recently caught Pokemon. "Keep your eyes...um...I mean ears open for any Pokemon." Sean told it, and then it flew off searching for any Pokemon up for battle, Sean looked too. Eventually, Zubat made echos of screeches, as a signal for Sean to come over. Zubat had encountered a wild Bellsprout, looking threatened and very angry at Zubat for disturbing it. "Let's battle it, Zubat!"

They were both ready to start their battle. However, Sean did not realize that both of them had a bad type match-up, this meant that not much damage would be dealt here. "C'mon, Zubat! Use Leech Life!" Sean commanded. Zubat started to flap its wing and head right towards Bellsprout, taking a nose dive. This did not stop Bellsprout though. Bellsprout started to send out a large, brown vine and slapped Zubat right across the face. Zubat, was not one bit hurt though, since Grass only does 1/4 damage on Poison/Flying types. "Don't give up Zubat! Try Supersonic!" Sean still had lots of hopes for Zubat to succeed. Zubat started to make a large screech, which was surely adjetating. Sean covered his ears. The waves of the screech had got to Bellsprout, disabling the power for it to attack normally. Sean uncovered his ears, looking dizzy, "I'm never using that move again."
Bellsprout started to dance around dizzily in a circle, it had no idea where Zubat was. The Supersonic had sent Bellsprout into a confused state. "Nice one! Now, use Leech Life while it can't see you!" Zubat started to flapp its wings again, ready to take another shot at Bellsprout. Zubat took another fast nose dive at the dizzy Bellsprout and pierced the layer of Bellsprout's jaw, sucking out energy. This left Bellsprout even weaker than before. Sean was pleased, as Zubat had been a very tactical Pokemon to use. However, Bellsprout was not down, confused, weak, but not down yet. Bellsprout started to send out vines in a random direction, trying to aim for Zubat, instead it hit..."Oh no! It got me!" Sean screamed as the vines started to strangle his neck. Zubat tooka nother flight towards Bellsprout again, and before Bellsprout knew it, the sharp teeth of Zubat had punctured its face completely. Bellsprout could take no more, and the vines retreated to it and fell to the ground in defeat.

"Awesome one, Zubat!" Sean congratulated Zubat for its first victory. He was not done yet though, so he decided that Zubat had been trained enough so he returned Zubat back and sent out another Pokemon, this time it was Ekans. "Are you ready to train up, Ekans?" Ekans then slithered in a circle, as a signal of saying "Yes, let us train."
So then, they started to search out another Pokemon.

OOC: Woooooot! Evil Warren's back!

"Ok, Bellsprout, we're all clear on the plan?" Warren gripped the leaves of the walking plant tightly, shoving his face next to it.
"Now, this isn't difficult or complicated, so I suggest that you do it right and you'll get free much sooner." Bellsprout nodded, a determined look in its eyes.
"Belllllllsprout!" it yodelled happily, though its voice had an edge of steel to it. Warren grinned. Time to show Misty what he was really made of.

Misty smiled as Warren entered the gym.
"Are you here to lose again?" she drawled, but Warren (as usual) was not in a mood for messing around.
"Battle. Now." he spat and was rather delighted to see the smile on Misty's face slip a little. Minutes later, Warren was feeling rather less energetic as the referee with the dull monotone drilled relentlessly through the rules. Eventually, he finished and Misty stepped forwards.
"Time for some quick training, Staryu," she called in a bored voice and smirked as Warren flushed and gritted his teeth. He simply threw his Pokeball, wordlessly releasing Bellsprout. Misty glanced at it.
"You caught a Grass type? Amazing, but with you commanding it, there's hardly any problem."
"Vine whip, across the floor." Warren spat and Bellsprout immediately obeyed, sweeping the floor with its thick green vines. Staryu simply floated several feet into the air and the vines passed straight underneath it. Warren grinned as Misty chuckled to herself.
"Now, lift up your vines and ensnare it." he called and Bellsprout snickered. Too late, Misty realised that Bellsprout's vines were resting directly beneath Staryu. She called out, but Bellsprout's vines were already wound tightly around two opposite points of its star-shaped body.
"Use Water Gun!" Misty shouted and Warren was delighted to hear a note of panic in her voice.
"Shake it!" Warren shouted and Bellsprout did just that - throwing Staryu up and down so fast that it was impossible to aim its Water Gun. After getting sprayed in the face twice, Misty ordered it to stop and looked over at Warren. He winked at her, but there was no warmth behind it.
"Slam it down." he ordered and instantly, Bellsprout threw Staryu towards the ground, slamming it into the island with enough speed to throw up a dust cloud that completely obscured the Star-Shape Pokémon. Misty gasped once, then gasped again as she saw Staryu emerge for the cloud, hoisted out again by Bellsprout's vines. Warren looked over to her.
"See, the way I see it is this," he drawled in a bad Italian accent. "You got a choice 'bout what to do now. You either forfeit the match and the badge, or watch as I very slowly push your Staryu towards unconsciousness. It might take a while, though, they are renowned as very tenacious Pokémon, even capable of withstanding Explosion or Self-destruct attacks." Misty narrowed her eyes, turning to the referee.
"Aren't you going to stop this? This is just blackmail!" The ref just shook his head, however.
"He hasn't actually broken any rules. Staryu is still conscious, so it's officially still capable of battling. What's more, only the challenger is allowed to make substitutions, so calling back Staryu means forfeiting the match." Misty gulped. Meanwhile, Warren yawned.
"Too much talk. Again," He called and once more, Staryu was thrown down. It cried out as it hit the floor, before groaning as it was lifted up yet again. Misty stepped forwards.
"How can you possibly do this?" she shouted at him, "Can you not see what is so completely wrong about this?" Warren buried his head in his hands and Misty smiled slightly. Maybe he was feeling a little guilty. Then he looked up and grinned.
"No." Then, to Bellsprout: " Again." Misty shut her eyes as the plant slapped Staryu against the floor again. This was too much. But she couldn't just give up. Warren was getting tired of this, though.
"Alright, Bellsprout, time that we did some research." Bellsprout glanced at him, confused, as did Misty and the referee. Grinning like a demon from the seventh circle of hell, Warren called to Misty:
"I've heard that Staryu can re-grow all their limbs." Misty blanched as she instantly realized what this meant. "But," continued Warren, "I want to know how long it takes. And now, I have the perfect opportunity to find out. Bellsprout, start with the top point. The one with the gold hoop around it." Misty clamped her hands over her ears as Staryu's ear-splitting cry of pain filled the battlefield. Warren just chuckled. He knew that this wouldn't take much longer. And he was right.
"STOP!" called Misty, her shout weakened by the tears filling her throat. Bellsprout instantly stopped with its tugging. and looked at Warren. He nodded. Misty looked at him with hate-filled eyes.
"I...forfeit..." she whispered. Holding out her Pokeball, she returned Staryu, threw something down in front of Warren and ran out, presumably to the Pokemon Centre. Warren smiled and picked up the Cascade Badge from where it lay on the floor.
"Badge number two..." he muttered to himself, and smiled.

it might take me awhile to post again, as I'm kinda stuck and can't figure out what to do next

Kairi was wondering how to train her Butterfree to the next level, when a Pidgey flew out of a tree and pecked her on the forehead, making her head start to bleed,"Hey that wasn't very nice Pidgey!" Kairi said holding a tessue to her bleeding forehead.

The Pidgey didn't care it wanted this person out of his terotory. It screamed again and started to dive bomb Kairi again. But she got an idea,'Here's the perfect training for Butterfree, a sky battle.' She threw Butterfree's ball saying,"Go Butterfree!"

Buttfree popped out of his ball. The Pidgey stopped in his tracks when he saw another flying type. Well it least it wasn't another bird Pokemon. Pidgey didn't think he would have been able to stand it if this human had sent out a Spearow. See Pidgey and Spearow were long time rivals. They were always getting into fights with one another.

Anyway the fight begin,"Butterfree tackle!" Kairi called.

Butterfree flew up and Tackled the Pidgey. The Pidgey pecked Butterfree. "Freeee!" Butterfree screamed in pain. "String Shot!" Kairi called. Butterfree shot strings at Pidgey. Pidgey's wings were stuck, and it started falling down to the ground as it's wings were stuck so bad Pidgey couldn't fly.

"Oh no!" Kairi screamed. She ran up and caught the Pidgey before it could hit the ground and break a few bones. The Pidgey repaid her by pecking her on the forehead somemore,"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Kairi screamed as she put the Pidgey down,"Is that what I get for saving your life you ungreatful Pokemon!" Kairi conplained.

"Pidgey," Pidgey said as he then jumped up onto Kairi's head and started pecking her. Kairi ran around in cirtles screaming in pain,"Butterfree hurry up and Tackle this thing!" She called.

Butterfree Tackled the Pidgey making him get off of Kairi. "Now Butterfree Confusion!" Kairi called. Butterfree's eyes lit up at the Pidgey. The Pidgey became confused, as Butterfree had used the attack really close to Pidgey. He hept on walking into a tree bumping his head over and over again,"Alright Butterfree! Finish it off with a Tackle attack!" Kairi called. "Freeeee!!!!!" Butterfree screamed as he tackled the confused Pidgey making him faint.

With Ekans outside the PokeBall, Sean took a look around for any Pokemon that are great to train on. Ekans was slithering along, ready to strike any victim Pokemon ready for a fight. Just that second, a golden alien-like animal appeared right infront of them. This Pokemon was levitating, which was very strange to Sean, he was curious so he took out his Pokedex to examine it.

"Abra, the Psy Pokemon. This Pokemon sleeps for 18 hours in a day. It uses extrasensory powers, even when it's asleep."

Ekans was ready to take down Abra, and started to flick out its tongue, hissing. Before Sean was ready to start the battle, Abra had vanished randomly. "Wait...what just happened?" Sean was confused as to why Abra vanished instantly, Ekans was looking around trying to find it again. The Abra had then teleported behind them, which startled Sean and Ekans, getting ready again.

"Come on Ekans, just because this thing can Teleport doesn't mean we can't win!" Sean knew that Abra only had one move, and that was Teleport. This made the battle extra easy. "Now, start off by using Wrap!" Ekans slithered smoothly along the grass towards the Abra, and when Ekans was only a few inches away, Abra teleported. Ekans stopped the movement, and Sean tried to search out Abra again. "This one is good." Sean thought to himself, when Abra then teleported back in front of him. "Ekans! There it is!" Sean reminded Ekans fast, then started to slither more fast towards Abra, then succeeded in coiling up around Abra's neck. This pained Abra, so then Abra started to concentrate hard. Then, before Abra was completely down, Abra teleported again. Ekans then ended up coiling a knot in its tail. "Oh no! Ekans your tail!" Sean ran towards Ekans, trying to undo the hard knot in its tail. The knot was rough, and sore, and made Ekans pained, but Sean ended up undoing it. Ekans could move again, yet it did cause some damage. So, this must be how Abra could cause damage, Sean thought that it was fascinating how Abra could move very easily. Abra then appeared back on the grass, Ekans was startled again. "Now, don't try and use Wrap this time. Try out Poison Sting!" Sean decided that Wrap would not be a good option, as to what happened before when Abra teleported away. Ekans' tail glew, then shot out a bunch of Poison Needles that were shooting towards Abra, only one thing stopped them from hitting, Abra teleported, the needles hitting the rocky wall of the cave next to them. Abra then re-appeared back in front of them. "Alright Ekans, just carry on shooting needles, and when it vanishes stop. When it appears, use Poison Sting fast!" Sean took Abra's teleporting to his advantage, and hoping that Ekans would make a sharp shot. Ekans started to concentrate hard on abra, shooting more needles out of the tip of its tail. Abra kept on teleporting in and out, which started to egt annoying for Ekans. Eventually, Ekans got tired of shooting out Poison sticks and could not do much more. "Oh no! Come on Ekans, you can do this!" Abra was levitating, just ready for any suprise attack coming, but not this one. Ekans let out one last blow of needles from its tail, and right before Abra got the chance to teleport, the sharp needles had injected right into its rough skin, causing Abra to crash down to the ground, defeated.

"Way to go Ekans!" Sean was pleased, as his Pokemon were only getting stronger and stronger. Ekans, though, had had enough for one day. "Hmm, maybe it'd be a good idea to let you back in the PokeBall. Return!" Sean took out Ekans' PokeBall, and pushed the button sending Ekans back inside. "My training should be complete now, let's go." Sean then walked out of the patch of grass, and went on his way. Instead, he decided to take a look down Route 25 right next to him. There were lots more trainers also having battles, just as crowded as the other Route. There was one boy next to a tree, who looked lonely. "Hmmph, nobody wants to battle me. Why?! Just because my Pokemon is 'slow' doesn't mean I aint good!" Sean could hear him, and headed over, he thought that he could never train enough. "Hey, wanna battle?" Sean was interested, as there were a couple more Pokemon he forgot to train up. "Why, really? I'd like to. My name is Daniel."
"My name is Sean, it's cool to meet you. Shall we start?"
"Sure, whenever you're ready." They then started to get ready for their battlke together.

Kairi thought she'd train up Butterfree a little bit more. She then ran into a Ratatta,"Ratatta? Is that you?" She asked thinking that this was the Ratatta she had gotten rid of.

The Ratatta tackled her. Guess that answered her question. That wasn't the Ratatta she used to have. "Guess that answers that. Butterfree tackle attack!" Kairi called.

"Freeee!" Butterfree said as he flew down tackling the Ratatta. The Ratatta bit Butterfree's wing, bitting a big hole into his wing. Butterfree screamed in pain,"Butterfree!" Kairi screamed,"Quick use Sleep Powder!"

"Freee!" Butterfree flew over Ratatta putting it to sleep,"Now Poison Powder!" Kairi called.

Butterfree flew over Ratatta again releasing Poison Powder. The Ratatta woke up, and started screaming in pain. It tried to jump up at Butterfree but Kairi called out,"Stun Spore!" Butterfree flew over Ratatta a thrid time, and paralyzed the rat.

Ratatta couldn't move,"Now! Tackle it!" Kairi called. Butterfree tackled Ratatta,"Confusion!"

Butterfree confused Ratatta. Kairi then got Butterfree to Tackle Ratatta some more. Ratatta fainted,"Alright Butterfree we showed it a thing or...." she looked on. Ratatta wasn't moving. It had blood pouring out of it. Kairi checked on it, and then turned very pale,"Oh no!" She said,"It's....it's....dead!"

Kairi heard the police driving up. She recalled Butterfree, grabbed Pikachu and ran off, before she could be hauled off to jail for what she did.
