Sean stepped inside the Gym, and was dazzled by the decorations in the place. Obviously it was a Water Gym, as none other gym would have waterfalls and fountains. Sean tried to make his way throught the place, without getting his shoes wet. Once he arrived at the door, the Gym Leader had came walking out. She was tall, with ginger hair and white clothes. "Hey there. Are you intrested in a battle?" she was a kind girl, and Sean saw her as polite. "My name is Sean Taylor, I'm from Cinnabar Island. I came to battle you for the second badge." Sean introduced himself. "My name is Misty, and I'm the Gym Leader around here. I use Water Type Pokemon, so you better watch out if you're gunna fight with fire." The words had rather puzzled Sean, as Fire is what he was going to use. However, he had a lot more others to use. "Now, are you ready?" Misty was ready. Sean nodded, and headed towards the battlefield.
"Now, let us begin. The battle in this Gym is 2 v 2, so we shall both use 2 of our Pokemon. I shall send out my Goldeen and Staryu!" Misty explained then sent out her two Pokemon, Goldeen and Staryu. "I get it. I'm going to use Ekans and Zubat!" Sean sent them out, ready to start a great battle. Each one of them were looking towards each other dominantly, as a warning that they are all tough. "Now then, let me start off for ya. Zubat use Astonish on Staryu, Ekans use Poison Sting on Goldeen!" Sean thought that using attacks on different Pokemon would be a good idea. Zubat was waiting for a few seconds until Staryu was not ready, meanwhile Ekans was slithering towards Goldeen. Staryu lost concentration, and got suddenly assulted by Zubat. Ekans, however had missed Goldeen, and instead hit the wall with the poisonous tail. "Nice Sean, I'm impressed. Now it's my turn. Staryu and Goldeen, use Water Gun on Ekans!" Misty had decided the opposite, that taking down one Pokemon then the other would work best. Both of the Pokemon were charging up water in their mouths, and before they got the chance to release, Sean cutted in, "Zubat, use Astonish on Goldeen while it's not ready!"
Goldeen hadn't realized that Zubat was ready to attack, and so once Zubat had struck at Goldeen, the water had suddenly stopped charging. Staryu, however had released the missle of water towards unsuspecting Ekans, and hit. Ekans was still up, but the blow of water had hurt slightly. "Okay Misty, you won't see this one coming. Ekans use Wrap on Goldeen, and hold it tight. Ekans, use Leech Life as hard as you can on Goldeen once Ekans had held onto it!" this was Sean's new plan, taking Ekans' wrap to his own advantage. Ekans slithered on over to Goldeen, and then coiled its leathery body around Goldeen. "Oh no, hang on Goldeen!" Misty was starting to misunderstand Sean, that he was actually a great trainer. Goldeen was being held tight, when Zubat came flying over. Zubat then took a dive onto Goldeen, with the teeth sucking onto its skin. Goldeen was losing it, and could not even do anything from Ekans' wrap. "Sean, you better watch out now, Staryu, use Rapid Spin on Ekans to release Goldeen from the wrap!" Misty called. Staryu then jumped and swirled at great speed over to Ekans. Once hit, Ekans was smacked over and over by the pointy edges of Staryu. Ekans let go of Goldeen, and fell to the ground as Ekans could not take any more. "Aw man...oh well. Come on back, Ekans." Sean grabbed back out his Pokeball and pushed the button, retreating Ekans. "Now, that's one of yours down. And trust me, it's far from over." Misty would wonder what he would use as his next Pokemon, not realizing that his next Pokemon would actually be an advantage to her. "This might sound rather bad, but come on out, Growlithe!" Sean knew that Fire was a strong disadvantage to Goldeen/Staryu, but Growlithe had never let him down once, not to menchan that it was his strongest Pokemon for use. "You must be kidding there, Sean. If you knew well, Fire is a bad choice to go against Water types." Misty reminded him, but he didn't care. "Now, enough of that. Zubat, use Leech Life on Goldeen one more time. Growlithe, concentrate on Staryu for now. Try and use Bite!" Sean tried anything that came to his head. Goldeen was nearly down, so Sean decided that Zubat would be the bestest choice for this. Zubat headed over Goldeen, and swooped over it, using its sharp fangs to suck out energy. Goldeen was then knocked out as no more health could be removed. "Nice plan, Sean. Come on back, Goldeen!" Misty was pleased, but not inconfident for Staryu who was he only Pokemon left. "Now, all you have to do is take down my Staryu, which is my strongest so watch out!" Sean wasn't scared though, as it was all his others (except Ekans) against a starfish. Growlithe had ran up to Staryu, and leaped onto it using its teeth to penetrate through Staryu. "Nice one, Growlithe. Now, Zubat use Supersonic!" Sean decided to confuse Staryu, as this would help to save Growlithe from being attacked with Water moves. Zubat then started to open its mouth wode, and made a high pitch scream. Sean, Misty and Growlithe all tried not to listen to the horrible noise, Staryu's gem started to glow red, and Staryu started to stagger over the place. "Oh...ouch." Misty was let down. Sean was already excited about winning. Zubat was tired after making the harsh noise, and had trouble flying. "Come on, Zubat. You can make it." Misty was angry though, and wanted to take out Zubat if Staryu were to succeed. "Now you've done it! Staryu, just try and aim a Water Gun towards Ekans! I know you can do it!" Staryu was still staggering in a circle, but eventually got the message and squirted a blow of water in the direction of Zubat. "Look out!" Sean tried to get Zubat out of the way, but it was too late. Zubat was hit with the water strike, and taken to the ground. "Zubat, come and get some rest, you did amazing." Sean was proud of Zubat, and still had faith in Growlithe. "Now, I shall send out Beedrill." this was nother one of Sean's great Pokemon. Once out, Beedrill had made a buzz of excitement and flapped its clear wings. Staryu was still confused, with the gem flashing. "Staryu, aim for Growlithe and use Water Gun!" Sean did not like this idea, since Growlithe was weak against water. Fortunatley for him, Staryu had ended up shooting in the wrong driection, hitting Misty. "Awww!! Staryu!" Misty was annoyed by the attack in the wrong direction. Sean however humoured it, and started giggling. "Nice. Now, Beedrill use Fury Attack, Growlithe use Leer on Staryu." this was an idea to make Staryu less defensive, while Beedrill could do several stabs. Growlithe ended up catching Staryu in the gem, and lit its eyes gold, giving Staryu a look of fear, Staryu was shocked. Beedrill then came with a suprise, Staryu not suspecting a thing. Beedrill then jabbed, stinger by stinger, until Staryu was weak. "No! Hang in there Staryu!" Misty tried to support Staryu that the end was not there yet, but it was just about to happen. "Growlithe, add a final Bite to Staryu, and make it hurt!" Growlithe was definetley ready, and strided over to Staryu. Growlithe had then took a munch onto the arm of Staryu, and this one had hurt so bad that Staryu could not take any more. Staryu fell tot he ground, with the gem burned out. "Awesome!! You both did great! Especially you, Growlithe!" Sean congratulated them, with defeated Misty coming up to him. "Well, you did a great performance there, so here it is. This is the CascadeBadge. It is the second Gym Badge." Sean accepted it and added it to his case. "Yay! That's two out of eight!" Sean was happy about his accomplishment.
"Well, I guess it's time to say goodbye. The next Gym is somewhere down south, so you should go head down there next. Have a good evening!" Misty showed him the exit, and waved him out. He retreated both of his Pokemon and headed to the Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon, while getting something ot eat. Once inside, Nurse Joy was there yet again ready to take anything he wanted. "Would you like your Pokemon healed, sir?"
"Yes, and also I'd like to know if there is anything available to eat?" Sean did not see a menu anywhere. "Well, I can only offer Pokemon things, but there is a pizza shop somewhere around the city." Pizza was one of his favourite things to eat, so he was happy with that idea. "Well then, I guess you can take them, and give them something to eat." Sena took out each one of his PokeBalls and gave them to her. She then walked off into the healing room to get them healthy again.
(I don't feel like writing much else for now, just do the levelling and I'll do the stuff later.)
