    Hey everyone! My name is David and I'm pretty much addicted to Pokémon. I'm 17 years old, but I have been playing this lovely game since I was 3! Right now I'm a senior in high school and will be heading off to college soon so I thought it would be fun to meet some more people around the world that like the same things I do! I used to play Call of Duty at the Amatuer level in tournaments and got pretty good at it, but CoD gets boring easy! Pokémon is always there to help! Ever since a few years ago, I only played Pokémon for recreation, but now I love to play competitively when I get the chance!! Sorry for the long introduction, but I go off on way too many tangents! If you want to know anything else, just ask! Anywho, I hope to meet and play with all of you guys!

    We're all addicted to Pokemon, actually. Many of us looove to play Pokemon, as well as talk about Pokemon. It's so awesome! Are you a competitive battler by any chance? You should visit the Battle Center for that! We have battles ranging from wifi to Pokemon Showdown, which is a battle simulator. You'll really like it! You can gather tips on battling, as well as go head-to-head on the many tournaments we have there. :D

    I wish you the best of luck in your senior year, and cherish every moment of it...because it will go by EXTREMELY fast! (Mine did!), Have a wonderful time, and don't hesitate to ask questions. :D See you around. :)

    I also love Pokemon too, it's been my first love for 14 years now. And since I heard you're a competitive player, I'd follow Megan's advice and check out both our Pokemon Showdown server (I'm a member there, but not with any fancy symbols near my name) and also the Battle Center section in general. However, PC has way more you can check out than just there, so take the time to explore!

    Anyways, I'm sure you'll do well in your senior year, and at PC in general because the staff here are extremely helpful, like The Welcome Lounge's resident mod Cirno. However, there's loads of people who are willing to assist you, and maybe you'll make a new friend too. Have fun here David and I do hope to see you around the forums!

    I just started my fall semester at college. It's no fun since I've been here for a few years, but I do hope you'll enjoy your time there. Are you staying at a dorm? Seems like most people I know dorm nowadays, but.. here I am in my parents' house haha. At least it's cheaper! Welcome to the forum David! It's awesome to have you here! ^^

    But yeah, I agree that Call of Duty is a bit boring.. even if I've never played it urg. It's just not the type of game that would interest me very much. Pokemon is pretty adorable and there are so many different ways to play so it's wonderful that you enjoy the series as much as we all do. :) Cool to have competitive battlers, as said you'll probably love our Pokemon Showdown server. A lot of my knowledge comes from places like Smogon so I'm not the best at it but it is very fun to battle others, especially in random battles. Always fun to see what Pokemon you'll get! Though my luck seems to be a bit bad with those siigh.
