    This...actually looks somewhat more action-packed, darker and vibrant when compared to the original boxart for Sun/Moon:

    I wonder what's the small thing to the right/left of the legendary Pokemon
     
    Both box arts look good once again. The light at the edge of both boxes is the same as the one on the website. I'm guessing that's some sort of alternate form for Necrozma.
     
    Box art looks freaking amazing! I wasn't too impressed at first, but you really need to look close up to see all the details. The black tones also look cool.
     
    Cool art. Not sure why people are wondering what the thing in the middle is. I mean, have you looked at the new forms for these legends?? Gee I wonder what other Pokemon looks like that...

    True! But I think it's fair to wonder, if only because this would be the first time there's been more than one box art Pokemon per game, and because we haven't really seen this form or iteration of that one!
     
    Box art looks cool.Too bad i have to wait 5 buisness days to get USUM.Even if i preorder it.i dont think the armour suits Solgaleo...It looks off
     
    I do think the boxart is a huge step up from previous boxarts, and that white flash definitely does add mystery. I did also notice that the Japanese version boxarts had red and blue lining for US and UM respectively, but it seems like international copies get a white lining on the case instead.

    I saw that, I wish we got the cool colors :( Oh well...

    That star-light looking thing looks like it has a pair of eyes when you put the two boxart side by side, it's really interesting. I'm wondering if it's a form of Necrozma?

    idk, the pointy shape and the eyes remind me of radiant form lunala for some reason :p
     
    It is a shame Necrozma is not the mascot of both boxes. These are forms of Solgaleo and Lunala. Pretty much got the same treatment as Zygarde who was not a mascot of any game.

    Well Solgaleo/Lunala are kinda fused with Necrozma similar to B2W2. Also, having the same pokemon on two boxes would be boring amiright
     
    Looks gorgeous as usual. I really love the darker look they have going on though,, it looks great!

    Mudkip does have a point. Solgaleo and Lunala having a different form on the boxart is very similar to how Kyurem was depicted with an alternate form (or in that case, forms) on the B2/W2 boxart. There's a lot of similarities I can go over in regard to that.

    Oooh...but they might not be Solgaleo or Lunala. Necrozma supposedly has the ability to bend light to its own will, so it could possibly in fact be Necrozma creating an optical illusion so that it resembles Solgaleo and Lunala, or even it could actually be a different Pokemon entirely (unlikely). I'm personally more hinged towards Necrozma-Sun and Necrozma-Moon as the names of the new forms, rather than Ultra Solgaleo and Ultra Lunala.
