Welcome Spoonacross, I love Pikachu too I just wish he wasn't so weak. Even with the light ball hes only got speed and special attack going for him.

Hows the ghost breed going Venitardus?

Charcoal sounds like you're doing well in the tournament. Whats your team?

I would love to see differences in eggs, maybe you could have eggs that show that a pokemon is going to hatch as a shiny too, which I think would be awesome!

My team was Crobat, Sableye, Hydregon, Weavile, Volcarona, Scolipede. Main gimic of this team was using Gravity so that Crobat, the fastest thing in the competition, to be able to get a 100% accurate hypnosis off, and the rest of the pokes used lower accuracy, high damage moves to deal a lot of damage.

Nice.

Welcome Lrachelr5

Thank you! I'm still fairly new to breeding and hatched my very first shiny (my oshawott) yesterday on the first egg. I also really want to learn how to breed egg moves and just generally get better at breeding.

Nice luck on the Oshawott!

Youll soon pick it up, I knew nothing about it really before I started on Omega Ruby last January so its easy enough to pick up.

It will be a lot to take in at first. But if you are trying to start out with a specific pokemon, look up the pokemon and find out what it's egg moves are.

The best way that I can explain it to you myself, is that if you wanted... say... a Aegislash with Wide Guard. To get that, you need a pokemon in the same Egg Group as Aegislash that can learn that move somehow. Sometimes it means doing a long breeding chain to get it, but that isn't always the case. With that Aegislash, all you need to do is get a Probopass, who gets Wide Guard through level up in ORAS, and breed a Male Probopass with Wide Guard in it's move Set and a Female Aegislash (because the female pokemon determines the species unless you are breeding with a Ditto.) And then breed them together and you'll get your Aegislash with Wide Guard.

And in X you need to have all the O Powers if I'm not mistaken, then you can find the guy to get it. If not that, then you need to learn all the tricks for the Roller Scates, which can be found all over Kalos. Googling them is probably the best option.

Okay thanks for the help! I need to beat X again so that I can focus on breeding but it shouldn't take me too long to do.

Current Topic: I'd love for the egg designs to be like they are on GPXPlus.net. The shell represents the pattern/colours of the Mon inside. Would be much easier to recognise who is who if you have a box full of unhatched eggs.

Waiting for my trade shop to be approved at the moment, since I specialise in breeding Bank Ball Mons (have 1300+ combos at the moment) and have every released HA. Figure breeding them for free for other people would help out a bit. Other than that though, I mostly breed Dark Types since they're the only Mons I tend to play competitively with. Current goal is to redo my entire living dex, so every Mon is a competitive version of itself in a matching Ball (including illegal combos, but of course I don't trade those on here).

Answer the current topic: I'd absolutely love to see variances in the Egg designs. If not for each species then at least for each typing. It wouldn't add anything to the game as such but would just look nice and would be nice to collect even. It's kinda like how all the Mega Stones are different which makes them feel more special.

Welcome new members! Glad to see you all here. I will add all of you shortly. make yourself at home.

I think im going to try breeding for a meowstic (Male) next to see ho he fares, I love prankster pokemon and he seems decent enough.

The last team that I went up against in the Spooky Cup, was a team where I only saw two pokemon. Meowstic-M, and Krokodile. Meowstic used Prankster Safeguard to protect from status, and then Krocodile destroyed my entire team with Moxie, Scarf, Knock Off.

Bred a basic 5IV prankster male now for breeding my final one, luckily had a japanese prankster one in my living dex, mustve wonder traded it.

Decided that I am going to try and breed more Unova pokemon, starting with panpour, snivy, joltic, torrotuga, darumaka and sigliphy and tepig

I'm currently breeding for the first time and I can say that I'm so excited to do this. I'm aiming to have a 5IV pupitar by the end of the week. Right now, I'm just hatching my first batch of eggs. Hopefully one of them will turn out to be a 3IV.

Have you got all your bits and pieces?

Destiny Knot, everstone, a decent IV ditto, a pokemon with an ability for reducing hatch time?

Getting all the helpful bits before you start makes breeding a lot less time consuming and more fun.

Yes, I already have the DK, Everstone, 3IV Ditto and 2IV parent pupitar. Can you elaborate on the pokemon with an ability for reducing hatch time? Haven't heard of it yet :)

Appreciate the feedback oblox.

Pokemon with the ability Flame Body or Magma Armor reduce the steps needed to hatch by half so I always keep a Volcarona in my party when breeding for this (and Hatching O Power on top).

If you want a 6IV Japanese ditto let me know and Ill clone you one of mine.
