I probably won't be that active if the discussion shifts towards Gen V, but I'll be fairly active nonetheless.

Yes, he is specifically a shiny pokemon because he's that cool.

I also have a request:

Could he be my other partner? Nosepass and Probopass both learn tons of electric-type moves (by level-up, too!) and I reckon seeing as they evolve in "Electric Rock Cave" just like Magneton to Magnezone, that's a pretty strong argument. I know Metagross could be seen to be electrical, due to it being a machine that can learn Magnet Rise, but Nosepass/Probopass are far more obviously electrical.

Yeah, although we could always adopt the traditions of the dragon's den and annoy him so much that he has to concede...then I'll argue Rhyperior in as a bug-type in your club because it learns Megahorn ;)

What is the electric type move that has helped you the most through any Pokémon game at all?

That thing pwned like crazy!
But I love Thunderbolt's reliability!

I like Electivire's Thunder too! although, back when my Luxray was a Shinx, it's Spark seemed unusually strong.....TA DA DAAAAAAAAAA.

electabuzz's thunderpunch got me through the first generation, his decent defense and hp meant he could stay in battle longer than most of my other electrics and his special meant he didn't have to use t-punch too many times before wiping out his opponent. worked wonders against lance. thunderwave is always good for setting someone up, thunderbolt is always reliable
