California Decriminalizes Child Prostitutes

I'm more concerned about teens taking advantage of this decriminalization, due to how sexually active they are, by working into prostitution and get away with it scott-free while their customers get arrested for what they did, whether it was intentional or were forced by these same teen prostitutes out of their own desperation for sex. The article from my OP was the first source I could find that didn't have titles like "Decriminalizing Child Prostitution Doesn't Mean It's Still Legal" because I was looking for the original sources made before those articles were made to make things more clear for the readers.

If 'taking advantage' means being protected from the devastating consequences of a life they never would have been a part of under healthier circumstances, then by all means, I hope they do take advantage of it. To the fullest extent possible.

It's one more reason to not get your news from Facebook, because this site looks exactly like the type of site that throws out "SHOCKING!!!" headlines to grab the attention of people on Facebook and take advantage of the fact that the average person doesn't read past the headline of an article before sharing it.

Clickbait sites like the one on the OP are bad enough, but mainstream media in general has been a complete cesspool recently, CNN being the most egregious example.

It's not like the rehabilitation is going to be a fun process. I doubt anyone is going to be happy to have to go through something that is likely to be extremely personally confronting at worst and extremely boring at best (from the sex worker's perspective). Not to mention I think you vastly overestimate and over generalise when you talk about teenage sexual activity.
