Can We Expect a Crossover Full PkMn Game?

In that case then, taking this from the first post:
The character should be set in Hoenn (Since thats where the remake is).
After defeating the Elite 4 and stuff , you get the ability to travel to Sinnoh, through sea most logically. Exactly the same way u traveled to Kanto.
Thing is unlike Johto and Kanto which are connected by a big land mass/next to each other, Hoenn and Sinnoh are not so close together so it wouldn't work like that. (In fact going by the offical Pokemon map which has the regions based on regions of Japan, Hoenn and Sinnoh are on either side of the Johto/Kanto landmass and are separate islands.) Only way is a plane trip/very long boat trip and there's not much reason to have that either anyways for reasons already mntioned dspit how you and some people may like it. Basically from Game Freak's point of view, assuming they remake RSE putting in another full region would be a lot of bother for a game that will sell in the millions with one region anyway, on top of improving what there is in RSE and all and adding in other 5th gen stuff, etc.

All 5 regions in ONE game IS possible...IN PSP. But Game Freak is associated with Nintendo.

Well a crossover wouldn't hurt for Hoenn x Sinnoh.
It's gonna eat the DS though. I'm just looking forward to a Hoenn remake, then you go--hitting my head for this crossover. Well, you gotta start at Sinnoh, and be a new main character. Pokemon games nowadays are too short, so agree with jcsimpson that it will be a long game. Long games are my interest. I would also hope they make it extremely long, it will have multiple cartridges, but the DS saves itself in the cartridge.

That's honestly still debatable because of the sheer size of five separate regions all with their own sets of buildings and stuff and tons of music. PSP discs only hold 1.8GBs and for reference the whole of Pokémon XD took up about 1.3GB.

Size is most definitely the second issue after workload.

Yeah, i think Game Freak has to be in other handheld consoles.
Like PSP!...PSP and 3DS as of today is battling who's better.
I Just pick DS for Pokemon.

I wanted to make a project of making a game for the PSP.
Most of these are hacks and RMXP for Computers.
Off topic lol.

yeah, I'd like to see this too... probably would be a BIG game...

I'd imagine that as technology allows for more data, Gamefreak will eventually warm to the idea of have more than one region in some games. However, now that Unova is pretty much on its own continent, I doubt that we'll see a game that has both the Unova region and either Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh as well.

However, it would be a nice present to have a Hoenn remake that allows access to an even-more expanded Sevii Islands (in Emerald you could access Birth Island and Navel Rock if you obtain the ridiculously-rare accompanying event items) and to have a Kanto remake that allows the protagonist to visit both the same Sevii Islands and, as a bonus/reference to Gold and Silver, allow travel to a much-different Johto region. There have been so many references to the past in Johto, and such games could incorporate such elements wonderfully. For example, Falkner recently became the gym leader in Gold and Silver, and I believe before that his father was the gym leader. Jasmine could be a rock-type specialist in those games, Whitney wouldn't be a gym leader at all, and maybe finally we'll get a dark-type gym by claiming that Karen was later promoted to the Elite Four much like Koga.

Hoenn x Sinnoh sounds plain ridiculous. Both are based from Okinawa and Hokkaido, southern most and northern most of Japan respectively. It just doesn't connect at all.

Isntead of HoennxSinnoh, why wouldn't they connect Unnova with the next region for generation 6, make it the second "Kanto/Johto" or the second "Indigo League". Wich is for me, sound much better.

They could honestly think of a hundred ways to connect any combination of regions together if they wanted to because it's their creation and they play by their rules.

That sounds like a good idea.

Sinnoh and Hoenn are far apart from eachother, and depending on what time it is, one of the regions would be entirely different.

I believe that if they really wanted to do that they could make it a console version that goes through each of the regions in order, maybe even make it a MMORPG and people would eat that up like crazy, except they'd never do that because it would probably be the last game everyone bought of the pokemon franchise because everyone would realize that it wouldn't be topped.
