In every main series game, there's always an annoying cave that everyone hates. Whether it requires lots of HMs or you just find the Pokemon redundant, some reason or another, you know you hate it. So, what is your favorite and least favorite cave out of all the main series games?

I think the best cave is Artisan Cave. :D Wild Smeargle and it's short...and optional. lol The worst cave is Chargestone Cave. You're pretty much screwed if you don't have a fire type or something with fire type moves. :( All the steel types omggg.

My favorite cave would have to be Union Cave. It has a ton of trainers hidden in it, and is fairly easy to get through in HG/SS, not so much in GSC, but it's still one of my
    fave caves.

My least favorite cave would be Victory Road in FRLG, the trainers, obstacles and wild Pokemon never cease to annoy me.

Best cave: Seaform Islands. They have the best variety of Ice-type Pokemon in there.

Least favorite: Mt. Mortar. You have to have almost all of the HMs to get though it, especially the strength. And gotta have a lot of repels because there are annoying Golbats out there. >_>

    I liked Chargestone Cave actually.

My favorite of any game would be Mt. Moon... brings back so many memories. And Clefairy is adorable :3

Worst would be ANY Victory Road or any cave from Gen IV. I genuinely didnt like any caves in those games.

The thing with Chargestone is that, if you don't have the right Pokemon on your team (forget the Repels in my case, I don't like using them), you're screwed. I had no Fire types and my team had all physical attacks, because at that point in the game, their movesets aren't finished. So that's why it's so annoying. Aesthetically though, it's beautiful and the nicest looking cave of all the games.

Chargestone is awesome and Horrible the graphics are great and the music/sound effects are great too, but when I first went in it was like "Oh hey a Joltik better catch it bet it's rare. :P

My least Favorite has to be The Victory road in R/S/E I just hated it. I don't know why.

My favorite has to be Ice cave I just liked the design it was a fairly short and simple cave system and it's fun to slide around.

Favorites are Ice Path in Crystal, just for how cool it is compared to all previous caves; and Rusturf Tunnel in RSE, because it takes 2 seconds with repel on a Mach bike to get through.

Ice Path was hell. I needed to watch a YouTube video of how to navigate it just to get to the end.

My favorite cave is Meteor Falls because of its music.

Favorite cave was Cerulean Cave because of Mewtwo.

Least favorite cave is Mt. Silver in HG/SS. Why, oh why does the game force you to take on Red with 5 team Pokemon and an HM slave instead of a full party of six?

Rock Climb makes it suck far, far more than in G/S/C.

Favorite Cave: None! I hate caves.
    Least Favorite Cave: Mt. Silver.

I love Chargestone cave, even though my team had some serious disadvantages (Samurrot, Leavanny, Lilligant and a Joltik (now galvantula) I caught there) Yet that cave didn't bother me at all, I came back there to train my Litwick as well.

Most annoying cave... I guess it's the rock tunnel connecting Cerulean and Lavender, for no apparent reason

I see what you mean about not having the right types, but Darumaka are in such abundance early on in the game I never really thought people could go through there without a fire type :P

My favorite cave would have to be Mt. Moon because of so many memories (despite the zubat spam >.<). Least favorite would be the one in Sinnoh, because it just annoyed me to have to keep going back to the same Mt. Mortar. I'm also not a fan of any of the victory road areas because most are long and you need an HM slave to proceed so you don't even get a full party of 6. :/

I can't think of my favourite right now, but least favourite was DEFINITELY the Ice Path :pink_pissed:

I was at my wits' end every time I approached it in Silver :pink_no:

I can't stand RBY Victory Road, HGSS Mount Silver and HGSS Mount Mortar. They're all just tedious and annoying (though I do like the idea of going outside in Mt. Silver and walking through grassy areas).

My favourite is RBYFRLG Mt. Moon (GSCHGSS Mt. Moon was effed up - I don't know why they felt the need to do that to it) because it has so many memories attached.

Any cave that requires excessive use of HM moves in order to get through (looking at You, R/B Victory Road) gets a mark on my book as tedious. Having to go through the delay between using the move and watching the "animation" burns you out after a while.

I love Mt. Moon, it's pretty easy to get through.

I love ChargeStone cave, Cerulean Cave, and Ice Cave.
