Church of Disconnect - DISconnect from your sins!

I shall consult with the High Elders of Disconnect and see what the prophecies have foretold.
 
We will respect your decision whatever it may be. As Connectors, we should accept whatever you choose, even if it is against our wishes. That is the way of the Connect.
 
i had a dream last night, a powerful and vivid dream like none I had ever had before. I was standing at the base of a mountain, craning my head upwards towards the orange sky of the setting sun. next to the mountain was a pit, a bottomless abyss. I could hear shouting come from the abyss. monstrous shouting, almost like cackling. i shivered, but my curiosity got the better of me. approaching the crevice of the abyss, i focused on the voices.

"connect!" they shouted up at me. "connectconnectconnect!"

I had never in my life heard such disgusting and foul words. i genuinely felt sick to my bones. i was scared, i didn't know what to do.

then like a choir of angels descending from heaven itself, a last ray of sunshine appeared on the mountain and a figure materialised. "son," the beautiful god-like figure said. "disconnect, it is the way to happiness."

i took one last glance at the abyss, and turned towards the god-like figure. "father, i wish to never connect."
