Anime/Manga Club Yu-Gi-Oh!

Apparently, Yusei's Synchron and Junk cards are also good because of the Synchro spam. In fact, there were times that they were used with Plants (mainly Dandylion) to make this easier.

Anyway, what does anyone here think of Vylons? I'm thinking of building an Epsilon control version in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Generation, but I don't have Vylons Hept and Soldier and I don't know if Genex Neutron is necessary (as it's good for searching out Cube).

Most people will dimiss Vylons as a don't even trry type of deck, or keep 1-3 cards and put it some other deck. My brother has a build he did though that he likes, and they can do well.
 
I always had respect for Vylons because I could tech them into certain decks, but I'm not exactly sure how well they work together. I actually started building a pure Vylon deck at one point, but I put it on hiatus. However, I can look into this later and report any results regarding consistency and whatnot.
 
A lot of the Hidden Arsenal archetypes are actually pretty interesting, sadly a lot of them don't get much attention. Looking at like Vylons and Gustos, I'm surprised they have so many Synchro members I've never actually heard of.

Yeh I noticed that too. The problem is they got so hard to use. For some cards you would need a synchro tunner and 2 synchro monsters. So they brought out lots of low level synchros. The problem I had when I needed a needed one of the super synchros is that when I got the low level synchro it was killed one hit }:|
 
That's the problem lol. I've you're gonna dedicate so many resources to bring out a huge boss monster, it better not get disrupted by one small play, and the boss itself should be able to stick around for a couple turns or else it'd be a waste (Quasar's basically a good example haha).
 
There are definitely some problems. Have you heard there is now a fifth series of the anime?

Fun thing, though; if you (well, you general) ever want to get into modern Yu-Gi-Oh, Arc-V's the way to do it. The beginning of the series is practically tutorial for Xyz, Fusion, Synchro, and Pendulum.

New Fluffal cards in the recent episode, I haven't seen it but I know of the cards. Some good, some bad. Last night I went through and put together all my performapal cards and heh...
Spoiler:

I just need CROS to start really putting together my Fluffals, have pretty much all the cards I need except possibly a Poly or 2, and KoTS, which we Fluffal players suprisingly bumped in price.. Need to do some edits to my Morphtronics a little bit. And get my Spell-counter cards together. Then I'll have 4? IRL decks. Well 3, not sure how much I would do Performapals, or Gagaga's which I need to finish getting together also.

I faced Performapals at locals today actually, they're pretty dang good. A lot of those small effects add up. And I was considering building Fluffals. In my testing though they were kind of inconsistent though, and not much you could do if you don't open well.

Ya missed me but it's fine, I haven't been too active but I'm trying to fix that :P

So on other terms i have noticed a new card layout, like an extra box above the effect/description box anyone know what that is? Might be Japan exclusive because I have only seen it here?

It called a pendulum box, something to do with a new monster type O-o I'm barly grasping xzy thingys :/

I'ma try to use a legit topic for once. I think there will be a lot of more demand for the seal of oricalcos as it was a very nostalgic card for many old timers like myself. I check the YGO website once every while and when I saw that it brought back good memories

Yeah if you lost track after 5D's, Xyz and Pendulums were the new mechanics introduced. I think Pendulums are a bit more complicated than Xyz, seeing as they're monsters and Spells lol.

Seal of Orichalcos is an interesting card, but only a few decks can play it since it limits your Special Summoning from the Extra Deck.

And on a different note, YGOpro finally updated! Aromages and new Toon support are here (as well as the April Banlist, but bleh).
 
I vaguely know xyz, something to do with stacking 0-o why YGO got so complicated. Back in the gud ol days we had monsters without effects, now...

Xyz Monsters aren't that hard to understand, IMO. Just take 2 or more monsters of the same Level, stack them together and Summon that Xyz Monster with a Rank equal to those monsters' Level from the Extra Deck. The Xyz Materials below that monster can be detached (sent to the Graveyard) for effects, even though Gem-Knight Pearl and Gagagigo the Risen don't need to do that, since they don't have effects at all.

My personal favorite Xyz Monster is Number 61: Volcasaurus. While it can't attack directly the turn the effect is used, destroying a monster for a potential massive burn is pretty neat. Number 103: Ragnazero comes in close too because she can deal with ATK-boosters. I could've mentioned Number 101: Silent Honor ARK too, but it's just too good. Sad part is, I don't have ARK. ;_;

Going back to the Hidden Arsenal topic, I made a Vylon deck in Over the Nexus and the Vylon Sigma OTK is just brutal. Equipping it with Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce while having a Mage Power or two is sure to inflict massive damage if the opponent is left wide open or has an Attack Position monster. I also tried making a Constellar deck in real life, but I need 3 copies of Sombre, 1 more copy of Kaus 2 more copies of Pollux, Omega, Praesepe and 1-2 more copies of Pleiades.
 
I stopped in the GX Era so I'm used to effect monsters, then came back after Synchro and Xyz with Pendulums around the corner. I grapsed Xyzs way before Synchro's, just kinda grasping the latter now.

And yup! At first the update was taking FOREVER like hours, but then I reset the update. Already added the aromage cards to my aromage deck. Haven't shuffled through my toons, performapals (barrier bubble), or my Fluffals (Mouse-y!) yet. And I'm sure my brother is working on his Ignites/Battalin Boxers and getting the new Red-Eyes cards in. God I hate all this support Red-Eyes is getting..

Dang it... really sorry about that, haha. I've been getting too braindead lately. It's funny that the one time I'm not desperately checking this thread, we suddenly see a huge activity boost. xD

(Oh, snap! I almost forgot about Yeyinde and PlatinumDude as well! Will fix it when I can. =P)

You know what the sad part is? They added two new AI decks... and they're both decks that we happen to use, lol.
