I'd really appreciate having a [colour] tag as well as the current [color] one. It's a tiny thing but I have to go back and correct it so much that it's getting annoying and I'm sure a lot of Brits would agree haha.

Also perhaps we could use a 'Small Suggestions' thread or something because this topic certainly doesn't warrant a whole thread!

    nub's so british smh

Just posting to say that I agree that this'd be a good idea. I don't reckon it'd be that hard to code at all, and I find myself doing it occasionally as well, so confirming that he isn't the only one :p

I'm American, ( I know my nationally doesn't matter but you know.) but I approve of this suggestion. I know we get a lot of Australian/British/Canadian users here and it would be helpful to have that option for them.

You know what these pancakes taste like? AMERICA

But seriously, I'd love to see this. There are times that I spell things using the British English spelling, and having the [color] tag still be functional no matter if a "u" is present or not would be great. Especially given that a lot more countries use British English than American English.

    no let the brits suffer
Posting to state that I am in totally agreement with whatever incoherent suggestions were brought forth in the OP.

    lmaooooooooo

Alex I love you so much

+1 to PC using correct English

    I love this idea!

I'm Canadian so it's a pain in the butt to have to spell colour differently so codes work. ._.

So I was sad enough to actually do this. Both [color=#numbers] and [color=#numbers] will work now. It also works if you use a colour's name (eg magenta) instead of a hex code. :]
    yay! :D
