To be honest, I was a bit mad when I found out that Noctowl can't learn Psychic by TM, but Confusion got the job done, especially against Red's Charizard after Snorlax stalled out all of my Fly PP by spamming Rest. Next up on my list is going to be Furret, seeing as it's the daytime alternative of Noctowl.

went to island 1 and beat two grunts and got the ruby and gave it to Celio and got Rainbow Pass and went to island 4 and beat the grunt.
traveled to island 6 and got Sapphire but a rocket scientist took it but gave a password for the rocket warehouse.
traveled to island 5 snd entered rocket warehouse.
Beat all the grunts and beat the two rocket admins and beat the rocket scientist and got the sapphire back.
delivered the sapphire to Celio and he connects to Hoenn.
beat the Pokemon league again.

I am still working on Riolu solo and Mightyena solo at the moment - But I really want to try and do Ultimate after that - and as my ultimate runner I chose swampert - I am gonna probably start with FR, Sapphire, Platinum, Blaze Black (Cannot get original gen 5 games sorry :( ) than HG - and by that time X and Y should be available on PC - and if not I can still get 5 solos done - which is just fine with me :3 Will post a little bit more of mightyena progress when I finally beat Lt. Surge =)

Update #1: Mew - Silver
I got my copy of Pokémon X, but I'm just playing through it regularly, so I'll probably do challenges on Gen VI when/if I get a copy of Y. Now on to Silver and Mew. I defeated the first four gym leaders and got their respective badges. Silver isn't too hard and it's a nice change from all the fancy graphics I've been looking at the past few days.

Update #2: Mew - Silver
Whilst taking breaks from X, I managed to get up to 8 gym badges so the Johto part is almost done. I've been thinking about maybe starting X over once I've played through it and maybe transferring all the 'special' Pokémon I've got to PokéBank (with that I mean the starters and one of a kind pokémon I got), but I'm not really sure. Then I probably (eventually) will need someone who's willing to trade some Pokémon to solo with when they're not available in-game or before the first gym. But I'll probably do solos with the available Pokémon first (which there are a lot of). As I said, I'm not totally sure I'll be doing it yet, but then again I know myself well enough to know I'll restart eventually.

So I have some progress on my Single Solo Crystal run:
-Started the game and went through the boring intro stuff
-Picked Totodile as my starter
-Did a boring errand for Professor Elm
-Met Andrew, my rival, along the way
-Leveled up Totodile to 11 before arriving at Violet City
-Defeated Sprout Tower with little effort except I had to use 4 potions for obvious reasons
-Defeated Falkner easily with almost no effort
-Traveled to Azalea Town, Totodile leveled up to 21 and evolved in the process
-Defeated Team Rocket in Slowpoke Well
-Beat Bugsy with barely 4 hp left
-Saved my progress there

Status: 2 badges
Croconaw Level 21 Stats: 73; 48; 47; 41; 43; 40

And that's all I have for now.
 
I know I have a bunch of challenges going (that I really need to work on lol), but I'm going to do Celebi.
