Combined Pokemon Solo Challenge Thread

I'm gonna start a Solo run on SoulSilver with Cyndaquil, but I'll have to wait until my new Flashcart arrives seeing as my old one won't work on a 3ds.

Guess that's my fault for being a pirate

So yeah, I'll be doing a solo with Cyndaquil on Soulsilver.

If I enjoy it I will be doing an Ultimate run going through Red/Crystal/Ruby/Soulsilver/White.

actually, SoulSilver counts for the Johto region (no need to do Crystal), so you would need to do Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum instead.

So - Red/SoulSilver/Ruby/DPPt/White, or something.

actually, SoulSilver counts for the Johto region (no need to do Crystal), so you would need to do Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum instead.

So - Red/SoulSilver/Ruby/DPPt/White, or something.

Oh yeah, mistake on my part. I meant to say Diamond instead of Soulsilver. I'm still gonna do Crystal just for nostalgia :P

Another Update! I saved last time at Ecruteak Pokemon Center, this time I saved at Mahogany Pokemon Center

• Took a peak at the two routes on the side of Ecruteak
• Fought the two people infront of the burned tower thing
• Decided it would be best to go fight Morty's gym now
• Destroyed the gym trainers with Bite
• Used Dig to 2HKO Morty's Sableye, KOed his other Pokes with Bite and kept using awakenings until his Gengar missed a hypnosis
• Eventually Gengar missed the hypnosis and I OHKOed with Bite
• Went into the Burned tower
• Fought rival 'Theking' and wrecked him ;)
• Gained a couple levels and awoke the legendary dogs
• Got out and went to the route to the left of Ecruteak
• Beat all the trainers and gave the sick Miltank 2 Oran berries
• Got to that city with Jasmine in it, whatever it's called.
• Got HM 04 Strength from the sailor WOO!
• Taught Buddy Strength (It's on now!)
• Fought the trainers in the lighthouse, then talked to Jasmine with her sick Ampharos
• Caught a Tentacool as a slave and taught it Surf
• Surfed over to Cianwood
• At this point Buddy was level 53 and I wasn't TOO worried about Chuck's gym
• Fought the girl with the Metang infront of the gym
• Wrecked all the trainers inside the gym
• Took on Chuck. I charmed his Hariyama as it kept using Curse, I charmed again and was able to 2HKO the +2 Def Hariyama with Strength
• Straight up OHKOed his Poliwrath, Granbull is such a beast.
• Got HM Fly, the Secret Potion, and a Shuckle (which I put in my box)
• Went back to the town I still can't remember the name of!
• Gave Jasmine the Secret Potion and proceeded back to the Gym
• Carlos bragged about beating me to this Gym, I told him he still missed a Gym in Cianwood and he ran off.
• Destroyed Jasmine's Gym with Dig
• Headed back to Ecruteak and then the Route to the right of it this time.
• Went into that big cave and got out at the Route before Mahogany town.
• Bought a Slowpoke tail and a ragecandybar lol
• Beat the trainers in the route before the Lake of Rage
• Got to the Lake of Rage and beat the Gyarados, got the Red scale
• Talked to Lance and I told him I'd investigate with him.
• Saved at the Pokemon Center

*Sleets Wall-O-Text Solo Challenge!

So after spamming A through Professor Oaks standard 'This is a Pokemon' welcome I shrunk and ended up in New Bark Town. And had to sit through some woman I've never met before who thinks she's my Mother give me my Bag and stuff, whatever, Woman.

After walking out the door I was attacked by a Marill, before I could kick it out the way some girl took it away. While walking towards Prof. Elm's lab I saw some guy staring into a wall. Johto is strange.

Prof. Elm wanted me to speak to the *Cleverly* named Mr Pokemon, I didn't want to but he gave me some weird Fiery-Rat thing so I decided I'll do it.

Before Leaving New Bark Town I decided to go back to that woman to see if she'd give me anything else, she gave me the PokeGear, basically the Pokegear is a phone where people can phone you every two minutes and tell you how great there Rattata is. Thanks a Lot.

In Cherrygrove City a kind old man informed me I couldn't run because I didn't have Running shoes, figures. Anyway he gave me some so it doesn't feel like the game is moving at 1 MPH anymore.

Here my 1st update..

-Beat Brock no big deal.



-Then went on a killin' spree' on Mont Zubat.
-Trained my Hitmonlee to be able to beat Misty's Starmie.


-Finnaly went to Vermillion city,i believe and get 1 of my slave to learn cut.
-Sarge's Raichu was too easy..


Thats it for now im making my way to the 4th gym!

So like last page, I said I was starting to do all the solo's on RBY. Welp, I did the first randomized one. It was Pidgeot. I'll just keep track of how many I do by the name of the Pokemon.

Didn't even need to use Ethers. I did use a few Hyper Potions, though.

Third Update!
I saved last time at Mahogany Town Pokemon Center, I saved this time at Blackthorn city.

• Went into the place next to the Pokemon Center to investigate with Lance
• Fought these 2 trainers like 12 times each
• Fought the Rocket Executives and Giovanni himself
• Owned them all
• Ended up gaining like 10 levels in there.
• Learned Crunch at level 62
• Went into Pryce's gym
• Beat all the trainers in there
• Fought Pryce and literally OHKO'd all his Pokes..
• Got his TM 'Icy wind'
• Went on into the next route and leveled up a bit
• Beat Carlos fairly easily and he nerd raged
• Went into Ice Path and got HM Waterfall and some more items
• Got to Blackthorn city
• Saved at Pokemon Center

-Beat rival in the lab.
-Grinded in Viridian forest.

-Easily beat Misty. "image removed"
-Beat rival in Cerulean.
-Conquered Battle Bridge.
-Saved Bill.
-Obtained S.S. Anne ticket from Bill.
-Arrived in Vermillion city.
-Boarded the S.S. Anne.
-Avoided battling trainers aboard the S.S. Anne.
-Pwned rival.
-Obtained Cut from captain.
